Lightning is a monster in warzone's. I still would rather play a fury marauder or concealment operative in solo rank, but its good in solo rank as well. All the classes/specs got stronger in 6.0, but lightning has the best tactical's. Grit Teeth for juggernaut's/guardian's is the best tactical in the game, and shouldn't be allowed to be equipped as Immortal spec imo. However lightning over all has the best all around tactical's in the game right now

You are going through the new player/new to pvp motions. Just hit 75, get geared quick via farming mastermode flashpoints with someone. All you need is one person to farm Black Talon or something on mastermode. Find a guild that can help you out with getting augmented, and get your amplifiers in order. You have a ways to go, keep at it, it is a bit of a grind

The frames are awful, but it will never change, and only 0.01% of the swtor player base has any WoW arena xp past 1800 - 2k. The only thing you can do is go off the markers unfortunately, which rarely ever get set or stay set in a solo rank match. The frame situation, and the arena hot keys situation being addressed would improve solo rank for a very small percentage of the player base. Not everyone will give up clicking, while focus modifier hot keys help, its not optimal. I made a thread addressing arena hot keys, and so far three people have responded positively to it. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=9910934#post9910934 If we could get that achieved ^, and the frames situation as you are suggesting OP achieved, it would improve solo rank a lot. Markers would not be as necessary, and it would just make a huge difference, at least for me. Because I know the Target Enemy Group Member 1 - 4 hot key situation is only going to effect a very small percentage of the player base in a positive way.

As I have always said, thankfully not everyone is a pro operative in regs. In solo rank they need there heals among the rest of there defensives/toolkit. They can be globalled in solo rank, they are the most at risk of dying while stunned with breaker down actually in solo rank. You can put up a good enough fight with a operative in a warzone that they will not bother 1v1ing you again generally. It depends on where you are in the warzone, and what you are trying to do. You won't cap a off node with a good concealment operative guarding it, unless you have help from at least one other decent player, and there are a lot of variables with that as well. At the end of the day, if you are not around your team, and a really solid concealment operative wants to kill you, you're gonna die. A good concealment operative in a warzone is essentially John Wick, John Wick happens sometimes, but there are not too many John Wicks. Far as tanks, that is a problem, because of Grit Teeth. The only strategy vs a tank in pvp is to ignore them.

There are a lot of variables, but if you don't mind me asking. Are you keeping force slow up? Are you strafing/hugging around a object while in the 1v1? Are you healing yourself when out of los (ie behind a object)? What is your gear like? Do you have any gameplay I could watch?

I played my juggernaut, equipped this tactical thing called Grit Teeth, and played Immortal spec. Tanks use to be so squishy before, now with Grit Teeth I can finally kill another player 1v1, its amazing. Thank you Bioware, you guys are great, and apparently have a great sense of humor.

Hutt ball is awesome, if you haven’t burned someone alive in a fire pit you haven’t lived yet. I like to sometimes pull my own teammates into the fire pits.

I am stuck on deciding between the tactical that reduces the cd on Slam, and or the tactical that reduces the cd on Enrage Defense for pvp. I don’t care about topping damage charts, and am more about 1v1ing, and 1v2ing off nodes, generally speaking. Of course I place myself in a warzone where I think I am needed most, and generally speaking vengeance should be spreading dots 24/7 in a group situation. However in this case, if you are playing vengeance with the sole purpose to 1v1, and 1v2 off nodes in warzones, what tactical do you choose? Your opinions welcome

Concealment Operatives don't lose 1v1's to any none stealth class, and its been that way forever. They don't have any answer when stunned if breaker is down, they can be globalled, just not 1v1. If you beat a concealment operative 1v1 as a none stealth class that operative is bad at pvp, at the end of the day. There are far more bad operatives than good ones, thankfully.

ChrisSchmidt amazing guy, deserter lockout *claps*, and JackieKo... I am sure you did something awesome too, sexy man *points*. Now is a great time to play Swtor again, and the new Tactical gear that's been added to the game is awesome. I have missed this game, glad to be back. Jumping right into this, - We have Set Focus Target Hotkey, Assist Focus Target's Target, Modifiers (must have for PvP) - We have a target nearest friendly hot key, great for off healing, extrication, shielding your team (must have for PvP) - We have Target Group Member 1 - 4 hot keys phenomenal for healers (must have for PvP) However, we don't have Target Enemy Group Member 1-4 hot keys If those hot keys can be added to the game, ChrisSchmidt, you will be a rockstar. You might be cool now, but just imagine if you added a feature only probably one actual subscriber cares to have added to this game.

For the love of god add the hot keys This is so ridiculous. You cannot force players to click frames, most people don't even use Target Group Member 1-4 hot keys, but they are in the game. None developers add FAR more complicated time consuming add ons to curse for WoW. Again, with Target Group Member 1-4 there is no version of it making any sense that Target Enemy Group Member 1-4 is not there. I personally haft to have these hot keys, but if I am the only one, the only person, it probably will not happen. But no one can say I am not trying. I mean seriously. Its super simple, and on a principle stand point yeah its like if they can't add this, then.... ****.

You can absolutely climb a rating in solo rank on a good number of classes & specs. You need practice, tier 4 gear helps as well. I win more games then I lose but my rating is actually 1320 on my marauder right now. So its super low, but I have 32 wins over my losses. I started qing in a mix of 208 and 228, but luck would have it my losses didn't go over my wins, so I kept qing. So im close to finally getting tier 4, learning and improving in areas, and I know I can push a rating. Right now I could push actually. Some games are luck, some games you can't control the win or loss, but if your a good player, your decently geared, you absolutely will win more than you lose, and your rating will climb. I recommend watching a stream of the class you play. I personally just started watching a 1900 rated marauder stream. It's very helpful. If you pc is decent, or if not but you can handle the performance hit I would stream. People are helpful that come in your stream, they will point stuff out.

I start Qing solo in full 208 and never had a loss over my wins, currently sitting a mix of 236, 242's, and a 228 piece. I am 30 wins over my losses right now in solo rank. When I start getting 248, and Bioware adds these hot keys, I plan to push a rating. Where or how you got offended, I'm not sure. I'm calling me, you, everyone a clicker in 4's. I am trying to get something done. Something only beneficial.

I know people that click and they are aware they click, and they don't care. So how you or anyone takes this depends on your ego I guess, but if you hit your left mouse button one time in a 4v4 you are a clicker. Even if your a amazing 4v4 player, amazing duelist, 2800+ rated, if you hit that left mouse button in 4's, you are a clicker.

Yeah that would be a dream, but what I am asking for is even more simple then that. Its about as easy as placing a mail box somewhere on the fleet. If they have Target Group Member 1-4, they can have Target Enemy Group Member 1-4. It has to happen, Focus hot keys, target previous target, etc, assist focus target's target, that is all like great, and thankfully that is there, otherwise good lord. Tab is utterly awful in swtor, And even if Tab worked well you haft to have arena hot keys. There is no version of miss targeting with target enemy group member 1-4. Think of a Tab, a Tab that targets exactly who you want to target Immediately no matter what there position is on the map, Instantly. I can't stress this enough, you want them to add this, even if you have 0 chance of using the hot keys yourself. Its just sheer simplicity, and more so principle. It would be like if you were a multi millionaire, your in a place that sells canes (just go with it), some old lady walks in there, and can't afford the cheapest cane in the store. She needs this cane, your aware of it, but since it has no effect on you, you don't buy the damn cane, even though your a multi millionaire. Bioware is not going to make any more money adding these hot keys. Its going to help a very very small handful of players out in 4v4's adding these hot keys. Bumping this damn thread is the only very small remote chance they could be added. One dev can do this in seriously minutes. You could not ask for something to be added to the game that is any easier to put in.
