Just want to add my voice to the people who have suggested binding proton torps to a different key from missles. It's extremely frustrating when I can't fire a missle because the game is trying to lock on a torp.

I lost 3/5 toons names in the transfer, which I will admit was a little disappointing, but far more important than that is that tonight while I was playing was the first time I've truely had fun playing this game in months. So I would also like to add my voice in saying good job Bioware, thank you!

the reason for my suggestion in its current form is I believe it's the easiet to implement. Easier I think than programming each companion with a class. But as I am not a programmer I may be wrong. Either way I would be able to put consular gear on Nadia and that would make me a happy camper. Yes this would allow people to put do things like put Qyzen in a consular robe, but since people could already put Qyzen in light armour robes that don't say 'Consular only' on them I think your point is moot.

So I found this really fantastic looking orange robe that I wanted to equip my companion Nadia with. Problem is that this piece is jedi consular only, and as she is a companion character she can't equip it. I find this extremely annoying. This isn't the first time that this type of issue has come up for me either, Lord Scourage and Kira being unable to equip lightsabres because of light/dark restrictions, all my trooper companions being unable to equip trooper only gear. It's silly. In the future I'd like to see my companions be able to equip anything that I am able to equip. If I am a jedi consular, my companions should be able to wear jedi consular robes, if I am light side 3, my companion should be able to wear light side 3 only gear.

are there any plans to have a hide companion's head slot option?
