I get it that Sorcs will lose their bread and butter burst, which at least is a big hit on PvP but now I want an honest answer from the better Sorcs out there whether or not the Sorc dps will be viable in Operations anymore? Thinking that Sniper and BH already offers better ranged dps, is there a reason for Sorc to attend Operations as a DD after the nerf? I have read that you couldn't spam CL because in that case you would run out of force quickly anyways so would it affect alot on the dmg if you totally leave it out? I guess the specs for PvE will change a bit to favor dot dmg a bit more, which would at least minimize the lost dmg? It's a shame though that you can no longer use that combo on packs of enemies.

I'm currently playing in a dead server with very low population thus not seeing people grouping for anything. I have two level 50 characters one with full BM set and some Rakata parts and other 50 is with orange gear modded with the epic mods. I made a character in one active server and I've loved it there for now but it feels bad to have those 50 lvls collecting dust with all the legacy levels. One guy who I mostly chat with in the dead server said that I should wait for the possible server transfers and then move if I still feel like it but the problem with that is that I just can't get groups for pretty much anything there and even guild mates are offline so it's very boring. I'm sure 1.2 will bring some activity because people will come to see how the game is and explore the new content but I don't know if it's going to help for long. So the dilemma is whether I should basically start all over in an awesome server or continue to gear up my other characters in a server that is empty :/ What have you others done in the same situation and why? Any regrets so far?

I also find the low population being a huge problem. It's hard to get a group for anything since on the fleet there aren't much people. As of now while I'm writing this message there are 11 people on the Imperial Fleet and only option is to go level a fresh character I made in an active server. It feels dull though to just start everything from the beginning I want my old characters there too.

I'm also having the dead server problem I can't enjoy the game at all just because there are no people to group with and I hate to have those two lvl 50 characters just sitting ducks there. I made a new character in one active server but I seriously want my old characters moved there. I hope they will make character transfers possible as soon as possible and I'm even willing to pay for that service. I don't really know what to do now, I feel so empty leveling a fresh char in a new server too. Once in a while I try to log on my old characters but then I see the fleet having 11 people on... And then I'm like logging off.

I seriously feel bad for you Scoundrels, you really didn't need another nerf... And seeing all the other changes regarding balance and PvP just makes me sad. But even in the darkest days, thought of GW2 always brings light.

They pretty much took away the only burst Sorcs had. Trust me, it's a drastic change. While taking away the Wrath + CL combo might seem as a small change to you, it was the bread and butter dmg burst combined with Recklessness and Death Field. Now there is no any reason to take Sorcs as DMG role to anywhere. Other classes does it way better and aren't as squishy.

Aaahh it always feels so good to see a GW2 video Cannot describe with words how much I'm waiting for it. SWTOR is going to be a big joke once the oh-so-awesome GW2 comes. Only good & fun thing with SWTOR was the leveling part with the animations and VO. That's pretty much it.

And here we go again. BioWare obviously doesn't support PvP at all. They just basically wants 1-49 bracket to be less active it seems. If you PvP alot, you won't be able to afford any gear nor send companions to collect crafting materials. It's the same with 50 bracket. If you PvP alot, you will be broke quite quickly... What the **** was the idea behind this change? BioWare, why don't you want people to PvP? I don't understand this decision at all. This is an MMO. Some people don't care about PvE content and just wants to PvP. I know you don't understand this with all the previous SP games, but in MMOs, PvP is a very important aspect. You should ENCOURAGE people to PvP, not force them to not to.

Ran some people through low lvl flashpoints because I didn't have anything else to do. Easy exp and items for them.

High dmg output? Where? They even took the Wrath - CL combo away. OP actually has a valid question there. It doesn't make any sense why BH gets more armor rating than Sorc. They even deal better damage than sorcerers especially after 1.2 patch. Only Sorc has more CC abilities though, but does that make one wear light armor?

The bad thing is however that at 50 level only gear that matters are the crit crafted oranges because of the augment slots so these designs will only be for the leveling while

Will you be able to send craftables to alts if they're opposing faction in 1.2? I've heard some rumours it could be possible, but then again it was not on the PTS patch notes so...

Going to roll a light alignment Sith Pureblood Gunslinger

1.2 encourages people to roll Powertechs, Maras/Juggs and Assassins. It's going to be the new era. You'll just have to reroll like we others do. It's a quick process to level an alt anyways and they even made the valor gain child's play. Definately going to GW2 as well once it comes but until then I keep randomly playin some warzones and when ranked ones comes, going for some premade matches. But yeah, can't wait for GW2 to come. It's going to be so great!

I also find it funny that they will remove the sorc's companion sacrifice ability and put a similiar one in legacy unlockables. That's just lazy.

Not a big shock considering what the ******* have been whining about on the forums. They also thought Sorcs were op and BW gave in to that cry same as with Operatives. Now the result is even stronger what we most already saw coming: The era of PT/Mara/Juggs will begin and they will be the dominating classes in warzones. They even nerfed Mercs along with their heals to encourage ppl going Powertech. It is not a coincidence. This is what I tried to say a few times that if they balance classes based on what baddies cries about, it will destroy classes.

It's the same as Sorcerer's.

Hahahahahahahaha... I don't know who are designing those but I can say that they aren't any fashion designers. If those are the designs to come, I'll just have to facepalm everytime I see someone running in those sets. Just laughable.
