  3. yup, every time I try to force speed to hide and heal I get stuned, wasting my force speed and then dieing while stunned Push then away from us, they force leap right back to us doing high damage while our force push only tickled him and put him into position to rip me a new ******e. and in that video, two against one, those two don't know how to play, on my server, I run behind that building, two people come chasing after me to keep me from healing. he was just lucky in there.
  4. Just this alone should be proof that sages are overnerfed. The fact that everyone targets sages first because they are the 'easy kill' means that they need something to help them. I love playing my sage, and I hear everyone talking about great dps from sages. I'm sorry to tell you, but if you are saying that because of the numbers at the end of the pvp match, then you don't know what your talking about. In PvP, sages are crap in a 1v1 against any other class with equal gear. all the other classes just hit to hard. I am constantly getting smaked by 2k - 6k damage while i'm dealing a mear 500 to 800 with pebbles and 250 per tic with dots. our heals are always interupted, out shield only lasts one hit normally because everyone else hits so hard. When you see the large numbers at the end of the warzone it's because that sage knows where he's good at, and that's area effects. We have three, one that we can spam, which makes keeping the enemy from caping or planting easy. It's because of those area effects hitting for 800 to 1500 per player in its radius is why you see such large numbers. It's not because we're a powerhouse doing monstrous hits to single targets like some other classes out there. BW should raise the defenses of the sage so we are not the 'easy kill' anymore. If they do want to make us the easy kill then we should be the hardest hitters, not the ticklers of the *********** warzone. I have gone up against operatives that where healing themselves faster then I could damage them, throwing everything I had at him, then he comes around and takes me out in 4 seconds. sage is a joke right now, but it's the only class I like to play because I don't like the up close combat feel. in shooter games I would always play a sniper for the same reason, I like the distance.
  5. I agree with you, I also believe there are many other 'factors' to the pvp win/loss, such as premades and the afk'ers, and so on. Armor is not everything especially with recruit gear being decent and easy to get...if you have the credits. And your also right, I'm sure they didn't benefit much either, but they did benefit in the daily, where they where able to steamroll their way into two very easy wins because of the 4/8 and the 6/8 teams, meanwhile, I still hold yesterday's daily with zero wins in it and two losses. Gotta get back to work, have fun on the forums

This is a great analogy, I'll put it to you the same way you put it to me, the difference is, because of the 'gear advancement' that 'racer' is no longer starting at the same starting point as me. Because of that advancement of his, he is now able to start the race 5 paces ahead of me because I lost. then with his next advancement he gets to start at 10 paces ahead of me, sure, I can catch up, but it will almost be a 2 for 1 kind fo deal. In essence, that's whats happening in the game, and I believe that's what the OP is trying to state. Instead of that winner being able to start the race 5 paces ahead of me, giving him that head start, why not make it even? Back to the game, you can make it even, if they introduce cross server correctly. By matching players up on the que's to make the team as one runner, like those hand off runner's. where one person might be weak, you have another that compensates. But the oposing team will have the same deficit, instead of them all being strong runners, they will have to have some weak runners as well to make it even.
  7. in three day's? Where do you guys get these numbers from? Or is it that you don't work or go to school? I work, and twice a week have nightschool, I have kids, I only get to play at night normally 2 to 3 hours tops, since 1.2 went live I have managed to get all battlemaster except for one piece that I will hopefully be able to get tonight. Don't know what you guys are doing to get it in three days. you must be in a high populated server, like I said, only two warzones poped for me last night in two and half hours.
  8. The OP is not asking for more rewards. Read his post. he's talking about the imbalance the reward system is creating. WIth the current system, depending on your server (i'll use mine where imps outnumber rebs) the imps normally win more then the reb's do. because of this, they gear up faster then the reb's. because they are gearing up faster with better gear, that means it's harder for the loosing side to actually get a win because they are trying to play catchup on the armor. The OP, seems to me, is asking for a balance check to give the loosing side a fair chance. He's not asking for more rewards for loosing, please read his post, he is only stating the obvious, the side that normally wins gears up faster, and because they geared up faster then the other side, beating them is that much harder, thus an imbalance. A solution to this would be making PVP gear available through quests or some other sort of route instead of warzone wins. Just an idea to be constructive although I personally do not like that idea since I hate questing, did enough of that in EQ.
  9. Different then the OP, yes, I was throwing out my dilema out there, sorry. But the point that I was trying to make with the post was really that the OP is tired of loosing constantly. And I can relate to that because it happens constantly on my server. And the few times when we do win, it's normally when we are fighting other republics. The OP is trying to make his voice heard and hoping that BW is reading and wants to show how upset he is and that instead of posting I'm leaving the game, he's posting to please fix it because I don't want to leave the game. People coming in here with stupid remarks like, don't lose just win, doesn't help and is not constructive. It only brings out the bashing and loses the focus of the thread because of the bashing. Like we are here right now. This game has problems and with BW's silence, we don't know if they are even bothering with reading about their problems or if they are just trying to ride the 'star wars' name into making money because of the name's fame. I'm sure if BW was more interactive with us you would see less threads of people complaining about the same thing. I apologize to the OP for sidetracking his thread.
  10. That's true, but I don't think that was the point of his post. In any other MMO, tanks have great armor and hitpoints, however, they are suppose to be the weakest when it comes to damage. While a caster for instance is suppose to be the weakest in armor and hitpoints while being the strongest in damage. I think he was just stating how his buddy is the strongest in all three categories when it really shouldn't be that way in a 'balanced' game. Unfortunately this game is far from being balanced

No, but what I do want is to start a *********** warzone with even groups to give us a fair chance at wining. between the hours of 8:30pm and midnight on my server we had two warzone pop up only, one started at 4 against 8, the second was a 6 against 8, both times the 8 where premades. How about a system that will only allow 4 of those 8 players through into the warzone to keep it at a fair 4 against 4. you think people like to have their *** handed to them? you think this is fun? grow up and be considerate for those with imbalanced servers that do not wish to quite the game and are trying to have their voices heard by BW so they can do something about the imbalance and the problems.

If it's obvious that your not going to win, you will have to three cap in order to win which if you couldn't two cap once in the entire match, your not going to three cap, just have everyone gather up in the at the node that you do have so they can atleast get some medals themselves instead of feeding the enemies with more medals that they obviously don't need. Once the other side see's that no one is attacking, they will come looking for you, and normally one by one, so you can then start picking them off one by one increasing your medal count. Sounds dirty, but I need to gear up as well, why should I only let them gear up?

I would love to see a different kind of warzone, like each day there is a warzone event, like the Imps trying to take over a republic fortified world and the republic have to protect that world for that day or protect that base for that day. The next day would be like a counter attack where the republic is doing an assault on an imp planet while the imp's are trying to defend. And this will go for the entire day and the win/loss comes in on controlling time of said planet/base on planet for that day. But it's on a different planet each day and has different objectives each day.
  14. I read that and it made me think, could be a similar reason why they didn't impliment cross server pvp. It sounds like most servers are overpopulated with imps, if that's the case, then there will be tons and tons of people waiting in que because there aren't enough republic players to slaughter. Here is food for thought, right now they removed the faction restrictions in warzones, so you can hit a warzone and find yourself battling another fellow republic player. This has happened to me several times already. The funny thing is, I always find republic players filling in the imp's team, but I have yet to find an imp filling in the rep. team, and that's the republic teams on my server are always the underdog starting at 4 v 8. Is this also a bug? or is this intentional to make the games go by faster for the winning side?
  15. If everyone on that server took your advice, the imps would have no one to PvP against. did you think about that? that's not a fix, that will be making the game even more unbearable.
  16. Are you insinuating that bioware actually plays their own game? Lets be honest here, if they did play their own game they would actually know what the **** needs to be done here! It's obvious that they don't play this game and don't care much as long as we keep on paying. If they would actually stop talking from their *** and actually try playing, they will actually start putting in patches that will FIX the game because they will see what we are seeing.
  17. Well, It's thursday, I still have mondays daily. Just need that one *********** win to finish the daily! But every warzone I get into always start off at a disadvantage, it's so hard to win the match as an underdog. I'm actually thinking about rerolling as an imp so I can start winning, I just don't know what class because I'm not a lightning fan.
  18. In the warzone I mentioned above, I got three medals worth 43 coms, 3 coms more then what you would have made before this small patch, not much of an upping of coms. But at least now 1 and 2 medals will give you something.
  19. I played a warzone this morning, voidstar, and can confirm beyond a doubt, that they have NOT put the countdown timer in yet. The first half of the game was 3 v 7, second half of the game was 4 v 7 then when the 5th person came in the opposite team planted a charge and the game was over. No countdown timer.

  22. I think healing is FUBAR. I hear healers saying that they can't heal crap, then I play pvp and three of us are wailing on a tank with everything we got and he's healing himself faster then the three of us can heal him. I don't know how he was doing, I don't know what he was using, or if it was a cheat, but it was just rediculous. In another match, a scoundrel and myself, sage, where trying to take out an agent which was trying to take the left node, didn't matter how much we hit him, every time we took him down low on health, he'd heal himself back up to full, half of my stuns didn't work on him, it was just rediculous. I think the biggest problem this game has is the classes are unbalanced and BW has to really get this beta version turned around into a live version soon because nothing is balanced in PvP.

I got my daily on Monday, I play for 2 to 3 hours, warzones only, I need one more win for my daily from monday and I need 8 more wins for my weekly which I will probably have for two weeks since my server seems to be infested with imps. The rebel side has a horrible win to lose ratio Sometime I get lucky, like when 1.2 just came out, I did my weekly in one night, the night after, it was back to the same crap, loss after loss.
  24. I'm sorry but our shield is a joke, or at least mine is. I pop my shield, by their second hit I'm already taking damage, the shield saved me from one hit because most classes are hitting so hard. I hate saying it because people just say that I'm crying, but it sucks when all I see is 400 and 600 scrolling with an ocasional crit of 1.5 or 2k while I'm getting smacked for 1/4 of my health or getting crit for 3 to 6k. Maybe I need more expertise until I start seeing the glass cannon but damn, 1k isn't enough????
  25. as I said, I'm not crying or calling for a nerf. I am not saying that expertise is broken or needs change. I'm not even saying that they are overpowered in my post. What I said is the classes need to be balanced. That's all I'm saying. Sage's are suppose to be glass cannons, yet almost every other class in the game crits for more damage then sage. Sage's should hit the hardest because sages have the lowest armor protection, it has to balance out. warriors have the highest armor protection so they should have the lowest damage. it's a matter of class balance, right now warriors have highest damage or just about and highest armor. And sage has just about lowerest damage and definately lowest armor. I'm NOT crying nerf. What I am crying is for class balance, that's all! and sorry if I got the classes confused, trying to type fast since I'm at work
