  1. Oh, oh dear, he's sort of right. Wow, you've actually contributed something to this thread! Congrats, man! That being said, I'm going to go back down there and say "hi" to whoever's there and poke around! It's so neat having a BioWare studio near my home, even if it is only dedicated to WAR. Also, that's a neat thing I should point out. BioWare Mythic is located in Fairfax, Virginia (All my NoVA homies represent!), and they're the ones behind WAR. BioWare Austin is behind ToR. Two different studios, not really related other than their parent company. Hope this clarifies things.
  2. For the EA Mythic thing, definitely not BioWare's territory. Their studio is in Fairfax, VA, 15 minutes from where I live. I got my CE signed by most of the dev and design team, it was pretty neat. That being said, I took an enormous investment in that game time wise, and I only got disappointed in the end.
  3. Oh, right, PvP. Yeah, I'm having fun with it. I think it's pretty great.
  4. Erm, they'll handle them well? Their main concern is congested questing areas making it difficult for people to level, and constant PvP ganking. I'm certain that they'll unify servers when either they're comfortable, or the community demands it hard enough. Either way, we'll eventually get what we want, man.
  5. http://tor-talk.com/episode-49-i-sharded/ I think that was it, I'll start looking for any articles stating this as well.
  6. Server sharding, won't be around forever, it'll feel more alive after that.
  7. Also, I like having two monitors so I can enjoy ToR AND participate in this epic thread.
  8. I dunno, people don't like one (often easily fixable) aspect of the game, and they throw every positive aspect out the window. It's a shame, really.
  9. Also, a fix for this... bracketing. Woah, I'm a genius!
  10. Oh... you're that kind of person. This explains a lot. Still no sources for your pre-owned server claims, huh?
  11. Got any sources for these claims?
  12. It's so they can achieve some level of comfort and stability in their servers. Also, a lot of people were complaining about the leveling zones being cluttered, which is another reason. They've stated it's not going to last forever, and right now I believe it's necessarily.
  13. There are raids for endgame, and there's plenty of pvp (which I'm enjoying immensely). BioWare didn't take over Warhammer, that was EA Mythic, which was kind of a joke / disaster.
  14. The only reason George Lucas would be pissed about other people using the Star Wars universe is because they're making it better by not following his messed up prequel formula. Also, you seem to be referencing software hiccups as your main gripe. Can your toaster not run ToR? If not, I'd recommend getting a blender, or a real computer.
  15. Server sharding. Won't be around forever.
  16. Man, sounds like someone didn't enjoy their early Christmas present
  17. ...and chuck it down a stairwell.
  18. I pvp and / or gank people all day on Balmorra and Tatooine. No issues here. Once they stop sharding the servers, I'm more than positive PvP will pick up. Jeez man, stop being such a baby...
  19. You say it's a common feature that ToR is lacking, but so far only Blizzard has implemented the Real-ID system with their games. Sounds like by "common" you mean "World of Warcraft".
  20. Same here, I disagree with most of what you say. Combat is the most fluid and organic in any MMO I've played since WoW, I love it. It's not a perfect game, but it's nowhere near as flawed as you make it sound. Also, don't go judging end-game content yet if you're not 50 yet. As far as I know, there are only a handful of 50's right now, and nobody has really started raiding yet, so give it time.
  21. Graphics 9/10 Aesthetics 9/10 Story 11/10 - Cranked it Up Environment Design 8.5/10 Music 10/10 PvP 9/10 Instance Design 8.5/10 Game play 9/10 Stellar game in my opinion, but it's got a ways to go. Happy to see it growing so fast.
  22. Wow, one million already? And they're already discussing new content? Great going BioWare, can't wait to see that number grow!
  23. A. Three and a half years from launch day until the NGE. B. Seven years on and off since launch.
