or do like almost everyone has said and switch Jaessa to heals. Expecting to down 4 golds and a silver without any healing, being extremely overleveled and/or being a really well geared dps with higher influence on the companion is an exercise in sadism.

I just returned back in August, and was getting used to the game. I just started doing the event stuff this last bounty hunter week, and was looking forward to doing the Gree event until I ran it tues. night. I started to realize the only way to get gray helixs was a couple of one time missions, the heroic, and the world bosses, not to mention the rep grind (which does not bother me as much as the helix rewards). I'll continue the bounty hunter week but this and the Rakghoul event are off my list of "fun" things to do in this game.

Honestly I quit using moddable gear while leveling except for weapons. I now run a couple of heroics and use the blue gear that comes from the boxes, when I need to upgrade. I've done this for the first 3 chapters on my trooper I made when 4.0 came out.

Like I've said previously, Bioware has gone out of their way to not implement App. tabs and dye. Like Talorya has said if they implemented this resources could be focused elsewhere.

I love how much time and effort Bioware has spent avoiding appearance tabs and armor dyes. How much longer will we have to jump through hoops to try and make something look decent with orange mod gear. I firmly believe someone up top refuses to admit that they were wrong about using tabs and dyes. They would rather spend hundreds of hours of dev time forcing their square peg into the circle hole and claim the entire time "we want to be different from the other MMo's". Please fix something!

Your right the event should have been about avoiding the plague and stopping those infected... So how would you implement it. Currently, they did it so everybody could have some fun, and even if you tried to harrass people there is a way out. I would change the warzone issue by just neutralizing the plague while in the warzone, it reactivates once back out. For fleet, I would allow 2 solutions, if you are infected fleet pass is disabled (You were scanned by the shuttle before pick up) or have you blow up in transit to fleet (you show up in fleet dead, but don't infect anyone because you blew up in transit). For a first event for Bioware, I say good job. I would like to see more dynamic events added in to the game similar to Rift and GW2. The fleet messages and the news channel events were perfect touches and I would prefer all new in game events be announced like this. It adds so much.

Your right we shouldn't complain about them giving free game time! Hire a better PR department to give it away!

I agree, by this time many people have reached endgame content by normal play methods. So not everyone at 50 has rushed to endgame. But the reverse also holds, not everone should be expected to be at endgame right now.

What an arrogant ... please read some of the thread before you post such garbage or don't I'm not sure it would matter. But I guarantee the screams would be horrendous if this was reversed and you only received the free 30- days if you did not have a character that was lvl 50.

I'm sure they didn't but that is the reason you have a PR department to prevent crap like this from happening. I swear I cringe at every anouncement from them waiting to see who's foot goes into who's mouth. BIOWARE hire a professional PR department, please!

What most people don't understand is that I enjoy the game, but hate their PR department. Because as it stands despite them trying to re-edit the mention of most valued players. They essentially flipped off a portion of their gamer base and now are trying to act like it didn't quite happen that way. If you are giving one segment of your players free game time just because they lvled a character to 50, you just gave the finger to evryone else. Don't sugar coat it, own it!

So why are you better than me and get a free 30- days... because you leveled your character to lvl 50. So what...I've payed just as much and played just as much as Lvl 50 players. While it might not say lvl 50's are the only valued players, their actions say otherwise...

Really! you want to go there please read what I wrote. I've underlined the dumbest thing I've read recently. So you are more commited to this game than for example someone that has 18 alts on 5 servers but none of them over lvl 37. Please explain how your commitment is so much better than the rest of ours! The point of this whole thread is how stupidly worded this PR stunt was. Get over yourself, "I'm more commited!"

It's so funny listening to people bad mouth those people without lvl 50's. Let's turn this around a bit and see how you like it. "We would like to thank our most loyal player's "The Raiders" with free 30- day game time." or how about ... "We would like to show appreciation of our most loyal player base the PVPers with free 30- day game time." or how about ... "We would like to show appreciation to our most loyal player base the ALTaholics that haven't even lvled to 50 yet with free 30- day game time." See the problem is you just excluded part of your player base based on how they play the game. Which is fine if you had told the player base hey this is how you should be playing the game. I never got that memo from Bioware...

What people don't understand is I could not care one bit about the free month, if they had worded it slightly different. If they had said hey we're sorry about the state of the endgame right now, for those that are suffering at lvl 50 we would like to offer a free month. I most likely would have laughed and been amazed they finally admitted to it.

Actually, I still play all my characters and know what part of the story I'm on with each. My Merc just reached 47 wed. night. You say I can't enjoy the story because I have not finished it. That's like saying I can't enjoy life because I have not died yet! See you act like I quit playing something that I was having fun doing. I just played other alts while still playing my main. I never stopped playing anything. I'm enjoying the game, just differently than you. Bioware just said that you are more valuable than me, because your character is level 50 not because of any other reason. Bioware's PR department needs to be fired!

Yep, see instead of me devouring it and not tasting it (your food analogy), I'm taking the the time to enjoy every mouthful. But someone decided that everyone that is currently eating dessert will get the meal free, because they are valued customers. If that sounds stupid it's because it is. Like I said before their PR department sucks.

That is why this is blowing up in their face, someone somewhere does not know how to handle PR.

I really wish Bioware would have just given me instructions on how to play their game. Because someone forgot to mention to me that getting to the endgame first on at least one character was the only way to play this game. Heaven forbid, I create multiple characters to enjoy their voice-acted story lines. What people tend to forget is that you have different types of people that play this game. You have raiders and PVPers, that believe the game doesn't start until you max. level a toon. You have casuals and RPers, that enjoy the journey or create their own (RP). Bioware just told the second group that we are not valued players. I realized this when I saw how the Legacy system was setup. It is designed for a player to level a charcter to 50 then start another charcter from scratch. I just wished someone at Bioware had told me this from the start. **Forgive me for over-generalizing the different types of players that play this game, but you should get the point.**

Thats not a problem with the tool that is a problem with the game as a whole.

Why can't they make a LFD tool that can be cross-server or just local depending upon your prefrences? You know a little check box that would restrict the search depending on your choice. And for those that want to go old school and spam General, that's fine too. It's great for Heroics or World Boss PUGs. This allows most everyone to win. Also to those that say this will ruin a community, check out the RP server forums and look at what Players and guilds are doing to foster community. If you wish to form friendships and meet people, you need to find people that want to do the same, not force them to do it. Because in the end, you can't force anyone to do something they don't want to do.
