Where is the ability to customize my vibrosword with ion attacks that do extra damage to droids ? Why does regular healing work on droids ? isn't there supposed to be a special "repair" function ? What happened to putting an armor underlay on that regenerates force points or hit poitns faster ? What happenned to my multi-class smuggler / jedi consular ? I really liked him in Kotor I Balance balance balance ...yes I know the rant. But it's easy to balance by giving everyone access to the same things. The same selection of classes to make multi classes out of , the same pool of "skills" like demolitions and stealth... just give them all access to it and it's as balanced as it will ever get. I really miss my smuggler / consular with his stealth , laying mines everywhere, and a vibrosword that really chops up droids ...

Under the smuggler - Pet master : has an army of droids at his control (ok, maybe 4-6 max by level 50) - Republic Bounty Hunter : Upgrade to heavy armor , he could mirror the imperial bounty hunter Under the trooper - SIS agent : lower to medium armor , stealth , sniper rifle and pistols Under the bounty Hunter - Black Sun Gangster : basically a duel wielding pistoler like the smugger gun slinger Under the Agent - IMperial Shock Troop : upgrade armor to heavy, blast rifles instead of sniper rifles, possible big gun Yes, these are just mirroring the classes across the imp/ repub boundry. But thats the point , isn't it ?

And you're not including six million make believe accounts that are actually time shared accounts from china rented by the hour or some such. Which wow likes to do to bolster their (fake) numbers. a million subscribers is not bad , no matter how you look at it. And it was said from the beginning a good chunk of subscribers would leave after the first month or two. Heck , I had to get a brand new computer before I came back. Thats what happens when you demand high end hardware to run your game. People will come back , slowly , over time , as they upgrade their computers. Thats life.

How about dragging companion abilities onto regular tool bars to be activated at the push of a button. Qyzen Fess's two area effects , disabled for him (his AI isn't too bright) but me being able to set them off at the touch of a button would be nice. Oh , and the ability to toggle OFF all attacks, especially the ships droid. It's annoying him run up to a mob and punch it for 1 pt of damage. If you're going to take away his blaster pistol , then we should be able to set him to just stand there and heal, nothing else.

Not at all. The real problem in pvp is when three people on the other side notice your health is low and they all try and gank you and get in the killing blow. Ps: 100 ms = one tenth of one second.

On Alderaan , when the jedi consular meets the organians and is told "I now pronounce you Paladin of the House of Organa" , we should actually get such a title. Shortenning it to Organian Paladin or some such if there's a size limit is fine.

the more stuff included at game launch , the farther away game launch ...and they were already a couple of *YEARS* late by adding full voice over (lol : how many aliens just repeat the same 4 sound files at random ? what kind of voice over is that ? ) I still want to decorate my own starship , ala Everquest II decorating your own home. But yeah , upgraded space combat would be cool too.

I know you had backgrounds in before. I don't know what you were using them for. But my idea is that a "background" would be the class quests we currently have . And adding a second background , means you can choose a different line of class quests for the same class , and now we can reroll our fave class all over again and play through the new story. The original class quest would get some name or another , or even just "default" I know it's a lot of writing. You were the ones boasting you had so many writers on staff though .. and really , you're just plopping down what ? 5 quests per world ? A total of 30 quests all the way up ? A few more npc's show up at the space port, and some old caves get re-used and re-decorated one more time ... no biggie really.

Allow one charactar on the server (per account) to be designated the master of the legacy. His ship becomes the Legacy house. Simple, easy to do , the ship already exists you just have to fiddle with docs to put an entrance to it somewhere for other charactars to dump stuff in it's hold. (now you get legacy banking cheap by sharing that ships hold too) I still would like to be able to furnish the ship though. Or at least put trophies on the wall somewhere.

we should be able to use cybertech to make a non-combat droid, a vanity pet , for example. Like wow's mechanical squirrel

In our Legacy Family Tree , allow us to put in a node that isn't attached to a player charactar , it's just a blank with a name and not much else. This way we can specify a wife or cousin without having to actually roll the charactar , and thus have more than 8 members in our family tree.

1... people to chat with while you're mindlessly bashing mobs 2... people to go on flash points with who arn't allowed to swear at you and call you all sorts of nasty names and generally act like a foul mouth ten year old someone let loose on the computer so they wouldn't have to deal with the kid at home. Wow has been doing non stop leveling for 7 years. Still waiting for it to fail . Seems to me swtor is following a tried and true path here.

I have no clue what you are talking about. The only reason I unsubbed was because my computer couldn't take the game , but I have a new computer now so that problem is fixed. After playing this game I find it impossible to go back to other games like wow, or rift , or such. I simply cannot generate any interest for them. yes, this game is *mostly* like the previous games with a few changes. But then again , the previous ones like Wow were also mostly like the ones that came before as well. I'm still having fun. I'm staying.

"mobs ripped off me" what are you doing fighting more than one mob ? lol. Don't forget your area effect ability (where you jump up in the air and then lightning explodes damagning those around you ) that aggros everything around you. Other than that , you may want to put a more active ability in the first slot of the first hot bar (that spot is the one that goes off when you right click) and then just click on one member of the mob , then the next , then the next , spreading out the aggro equilly while the dps worries about bringing them down.

Never been to 50. My healer sorcerer heals just fine in pve regular questing. When he bothers. Mostly he tosses dps, despite the lack of talent pointes invested in dps (they're all in healing of course). And he kickes it pretty good. I can't believe me and Khem Val took out two elites at the same time , without me throwing whirlwind on one of them (oops , forgot I had that ability ) Static Shield then self heal for the win ! anyways. It aint ruined. If you can solo an elite , it plays just fine. Most likely , the problem lies between the chair and the keyboard , especially since two other posters have voiced opinions that they still heal just fine.
