  2. Yea I hear ya. I'm pretty good with my 50 Concealment Op at PvP. I can win most 1v1 fights except certain classes. PT's, Vanguard's, Sages, and Sorcs are probably the hardest. The thing people don't understand is while we have great burst DPS when we have SETUP with relics, expertise buff, full champ gear and THEN do our opener. That's in a perfect world. The videos people see on youtube are spliced in to each "perfect setup" making it LOOK like the class is OP. Sure, in a perfect setup where I find someone alone and I buff up first and everything goes right I can drop him in 4 hits, but thats if he doesn't do a knockback as soon as he gets up and thats also pending if I crit everytime which I don't, and it also depends on the class I'm facing.
  3. So if you know the class then: 1. Explain how you would "fix" us. 2. Tell me how reliable re-stealthing is.
  4. The point of my post was that we are not all this "overpowered and invincible/stealthed" class like people make us out to be. If we don't have our stealth, and our high burst opener, we are no more than a trick and that is a fact. Our sustained DPS is total garbage and it's laughable at best.
  5. I've run into many good Sages that after my opener gets them down to 1/4 health, in about 3 seconds they are back to full health. Pretty awesome healing class.
  6. 1. Resolve is broken so even using Escape ability...we still get re-CC'd. 2. Cloaking Screen doesn't work if you are DoT'd which alot of times we are. Toxic Scan is never reliable. 3. Learn the Operative class before you open the mouth.
  7. I have no issues taking down Jugg's and Guardians, but have problems with PT's and Vanguard's. I probably just need to adjust my tactics, but a GOOD Vanguard player is very difficult. =) And what ability by an Operative is OP exactly? I assume you mean Acid Blade and Hidden Strike? So how would you make it balanced since everyone thinks it's unbalanced. And you're delusional if you think it's just about re-stealthing and then we are invincible.

  9. He's full of it unless the other team was so bad tha they all just stood there and did nothing. People usually work together and stay together. Very rarely do you see players (other than stealthers) running around by themselves, unless they are horrible.
  10. Post screenshots of a Concealment Operative doing 570k dmg with 60-75 kills. I know many good 50 conc op's in full champ gear that don't get that much. Maybe the Lethality spec's do. Please try again. Also BH's and Snipers do probably the same if not more DPS than OP's do.
  11. Once AGAIN, people need to actually level up and PLAY a level 50 concealment operative. Last night I got steamrolled BADLY, especially by Republic in Voidstar. My openers were critting for 4-5k, but still could only get some people down to half health, shiv, lacerate, shiv lacerate hitting for 500-700. Then...I get stormed, steamrolled...reset and restart. Stealth, walk up behind someone...boom someone does an AoE...stealth broken, stormed, steamrolled....dead. Stealth, find someone half health...walk up behind...oh wait they have a bubble. Do I fight or find someone else? No one else around. Fight. AB/HS...Absorbed....Backstab, Shiv, Lacera....his friends storm, steamroll, dead. Ok let's try again. =) Stealth, find someone with bubble down. AB/HS...5k crit, Backstab 3k crit, Shiv, Lacerate, Shiv....dead. Finally!! Point of post? It's not all just 5k, 3k, 3k, 3k dead like some of you are spewing on these forums. We get steamrolled VERY easily. We got destroyed badly by Republic in like 3 back to back matches and we have pretty good teamwork. Vanguard's DESTROY us. Stealth opener barely dents them at all, then it's game over for Operative. Not to mention other classes like Assassin's and Sorc's that we have much trouble against even doing our openers. They have alot of knockbacks and pushes that take us right out of the fight. TL;DR? Roll a 50 Operative first and see how it is. Everything needs to go perfect for us to have those 4-5 shot crits. Relic, Exp, Gear, Stealth not broken by AoE's or knockbacks, etc. Anyways...peace.

  15. The reason people are crying for nerfs is because they are helpless to do anything versus a stealthed Conc Operative because of the knockdown. *hint* Keep your shield up at ALL times. Alot of times I won't even bother going for a class that has their bubble up. I'll move on to the idiot that doesn't have one up.
  16. You give a class a DOT spec with crit+power+expertise gear and he WILL top the damage charts....PERIOD. And yes even overtop the Concealment Ops. Last night a 50 Marauder in a DOT spec topped dmg in our WZ..... a MARAUDER.
  17. They must be in full raid gear then bro. I don't see many 350k+ damaging Concealment spec OPs running around HoG. Alot have respec'd into Lethality because they can get TOP damage that way.
  18. 400k damage? Lol that Concealment Op must have been REALLY busy. *hint for you* Those 400k damage Ops are DOT spec'd bro.
  19. Actually most of the Op/Scoundrels that you are seeing get 250-300k damage and topping the charts are ones that are in the DOT spec, NOT the burst dps spec. Very rarely (unless an Op is so Godly spec'd) do we do top dps charts in a WZ. The DOT specs do those.
  20. ...you have no idea what you are talking about when you're screaming for nerfs. 1. You don't realize just how squishy our class really is. 2. You don't realize that without our opener, we are NOTHING and worse than Marauders. 3. We have ZERO gap closers, knockbacks, pushes, grapples. 4. We have stealth which is an acceptable tradeoff EXCEPT that trying to get OUT OF COMBAT to re-stealth is buggy, glitchy and can be a hassle. 5. DOTs, AoEs, Knockbacks all break our stealth. Then we have to fight with our little damaging knives until we can get back in stealth again. 6. If you get knocked down by our Acid Blade/Hidden Strike combo and you sit there like a lump on a log waiting for us to rip you a new one, then you deserve to get pummeled. 7. All you have to do is STUN us and we are history. 8. Everyone knows that Resolve is so buggy then you can have a full bar of it, and still get CC'd repeatedly. 9. Blatant QQ'ing is blatant. ... and lastly.... 10. Have you TRIED fighting against a level 50 geared out Vanguard? =) Ha! My opener is nothing against those guys, but you don't hear me calling for Vanguard nerfs. Learn to play.
  21. Umm wut? No you didn't bring someone from 13.5k down to 2k in 1 rotation. Level 12's don't have squat for skills.
  22. I have a 50 Concealment Op, and while our burst is great...thats all we have. If we don't drop you in our opener, that's it ..we're dead. I cannot tell you how many times I have gotten someone down to like 10%, and then got knocked back, stunned, etc while I'm on my CD. Some Operatives have amazing gear in which they get all those high crits. My gear is decent, but I only have 2 Champ pieces. I still only manage 5k crits if everything goes perfect. We don't have a gap closer. No knock backs. We don't have a pull. We don't have a push. Our stealth gets broken by DOTs, AoE's, Knockbacks, etc. Then we have to run and get out of buggy combat to re-stealth. Cloaking Screen has a high CD timer even after talent. Unless an OP is in full Champ gear, exp bonus, relic popped, he isn't going to do all that damage you guys are talking about. We also get dropped like a bad habit if we can't do our opener. Blatant QQ'ing is blatant.
  23. I have a better idea. If someone leaves Huttball early (other than CTD or something), dock them commendations. That will teach em.

  25. Good stuff Phated. It would appear that in PvE raiding, power seems to prove better. In PvP whether it be open world PvP or in WZ's, I would probably say that crit would be better. The real question here now (for PvP) is, which is better? Crit + Power vs Crit + Surge? =) Can you continue processing numbers on this? I failed basic math.
