Sadly you didn't miss a thing. I look at Lightning Burns as a sop to Madness/Balance specs, kind of a way for them to go "See, we DID give you something, now go away!" But, we've got nothing better to choose, and need all the Force regen help we can get...

His statement was a direct mockery of one of the responses the Dev's gave to our questions about survivability. Apparently, we're fine and dandy surviving, but THE MARAUDER and THE SENTINEL just can't survive without ten separate defensive cooldowns.

And in that 6 seconds of GCD for 12k, your opponents have done HOW much damage, again? Roughly... twice that, if they're playing right?

Seriously? I don't think I've seen a team with more than one Sage/Sorc in PVP in quite a while.

Whoops, I forgot to specify 'In PvP'. Rereading that, I see that I'd assumed I had put it into my post. Completely my fault on that one.

I'll be completely honest here, and not troll this post: I don't think Bioware will notice, or care, if Sorc/Sages don't Arena. There's a reason I brought up Roguecraft in the Sorc forums, and it pertains to the fact that, by the numbers I've been able to gather, Sorc/Sage is among the lowest-played of all classes, and healers among the bunch are even tinier in proportion. Hell, we could all QUIT PLAYING the Sorcerer/Sage altogether, and that'd be less than 120k toons total. Sorcerer/Sages are mushrooms. Vanguard/PT are other mushrooms.

Marauders: Shi-Cho Form is 4 fite! Alamoo'd.

Don't worry, THE MARAUDER and TEH SINPAER only get to heal to half.

This isn't going to die any time soon, unless they start handing out mass bans.

Remember, heal while DPSing, and make sure THE MARAUDER and TEH SNPIAR live to do ALL THE DAMAGE while you negotiate your murder bounty.

You're doing it all wrong. You're supposed to DPS while healing to full. Just remember, THE MARAUDER and TEH SNIPAR are supposed to put out ALL THE DAMAGE, because they can't heal to full.

I've already told my guild that I'm going to shelve this guy I've spent almost two years on. They are... less than happy.

Whoops, my bad. My point still stands. It sucks to see him so discouraged that he's leaving. Especially with all the effort he's put in since the beginning.

You.... you seriously don't know how much time she's put into trying to fix the Shadow/Assassin, do you? Hell, I don't even HAVE a Shadow, and I think it sucks that she's going.

Lightning Strike is hilariously useful in Madness builds now. Every time you use it, you get a stack of Polarity, meaning your Alacrity increases by 1% up to four times for 15 seconds. If Lightning Burns procs off of it, you instead get TWO stacks. This is important. Every percentage point of Alacrity is an increase in our Force generation as well. Rolling in just the gear they offered on the PTS, I was able to keep up around 12-13% Alacrity pretty much at will boosting it all the way up to an absurd 37-38% with Polarity Shift when I went below 75% Force. That meant that for the duration of Force Polarity, my Force regen was close to 12 Force per instance of regeneration, plus Force Lightning feeding me back Force, all the while with my dots rolling, and rolling, and rolling. It's like electric Sithmas. I've had to intentionally screw around to get below 60% Force.

So... your solution is to nerf a class that's already hurting in endgame right now, so you can be a special snowflake? Not no, not Hell no, but Heeeeeeell no!

Then you don't do Warzones, or play on PvP servers, or actually pay attention on the fleets. People are scum. This is in no way Bioware's fault.

Uh... you'd be wrong. It's a 3% chance to either gain an augment on an item, or critically succeed, and double the amount of the items crafted. That's worth its weight in gold for some crafts. Combine that with a maxed-out Affection ship droid, and you could be looking at a 10%-ish chance to crit on every single craft you make using him.

All I can say is, bravo sirra, bravo.

Good lord, no. That would be bone-headed on a scale that would be nigh-impossible to comprehend. No, this is your standard "Pick your (x number of) characters you wish to actually play on this server" deal.

The ending to the Inquisitor storyline had me cackling like a madman.

Think of it in terms of contempt, Sith side, and practicality, Jedi side. The Sorceror sees no need to strike such a pathetic waste with his lightsaber, as it would only delay his other executions, so he simply kicks you with a Force-enhanced assault, leaving himself free to gleefuly continue his killing spree. The Sage needs his lightsaber free and ready in case of an attack or sudden emergency situation, so he strikes you with a Force-enhanced attack to drive you down and incapacitate you.
