  1. There is definitely something wrong with it, and hopefully its a bug and not a feature/intended change. I'm pretty sure walking is faster then this vehicle right now, or it could be a perception thing since I'm use to the speeder going 110% rather then whatever speed it's currently going. Update: Speeder Pilot II also has no effect on the vehicle.
  2. Hopefully this is a bug or a unintended change, because the 110% speed was the only reason to get the speeder. Which was originally used as their big incentive to get people to use their RaF program.
  3. Was the Kurtob speeder nerfed? There is no mention of it in the patch notes. I decided to start a new character to check out the new intros, yet the mount isn't going its normal 110% speed (as stated in the tooltip and what was used as a selling feature for it). It seems to be going 90% like the other mounts now
  4. They nerfed the mod vendors too, instead of selling blue mods they now only carry greens.
  5. Prior to the patch my companion was able to hold threat with out problem, but now he can barely hold one enemy.
  6. What PVE has right now for a space game sucks and isn't really much of a game, unless its been changed recently and the rails have been removed.
  7. It would be kind of nice if they added a little variety to the leveling paths. Even if it was something like changing some text for some of the races. Something simple indicating that the race is rare for its chosen profession or how they didn't expect to see something like a Pureblood as a Jedi. Even the Twilik settlement could have varying degrees of reactions towards Twilik jedi wandering into their village for the first time. Sure there will always be the repetitive nature, but adding a little more depth to the planets could help, anything to make leveling new characters, since that seems to be what they want us to do with all the race unlocks, not quite as repetitive.
  8. If it were actually free you might have a point, but 3 months costs $41.97.
  9. No clue if someone had the name or not, I tend to add gj to the end when I make usernames/forum handles. An old habit from an old rpg forums I use to regularly visit, as to Dakkon I am aware of the MTG card, but that is not what inspired the name. I saw the card only after I had already been using the name. When it comes to my in game characters rarely will they use the same name as my username/forum handle.
  10. No, I wouldn't want either of those names. I much prefer coming up with my own names rather then using overly used and unimaginative names. I never resort to using commonly overused names when making new characters for mmorpgs or rpgs in general.
  11. Depends on the name, the name is the first thing we see and in some cases can be the first impression we make to someone. I try not paying attention to players who use names such as XXLukeXX, XXDarthVaderXX, or imapwnu.
  12. While I understand the frustration of losing names due to events outside your control. I also understand names are very important. The names in that link are neither iconic or epic, they are just a bunch of overused and very unimaginative names that you should have expected to lose when moving servers. It does suck to lose a name you have grown accustomed to using, but coming up with something new and original isn't really that difficult.
  13. As much as I despise the whole political correct era, in an environment where you can read and edit what you type. Constantly using profanity when there are better and often times more appropriate words that can be typed out does not make you mature and doesn't really have anything to do with being politically correct. In a text based setting where you can read and edit what you are trying to say, there really is no reason for most forms of profanity. Even games such as Age of Conan and The Secret World have a policy to limit profanity in their chats.
  14. I'm not very fond of Vette, once I was able to I was quick to replace her, she does not fit well with a Sith. She whines way too much, and most of the darkside choices I've found fall under one of her dislikes. Sith are by nature cruel. Thus is the reason why my affection for this companion will forever remain low.
  15. 1. Our game is awesome. People love it and want to play it. The game has its moments and has kept me here with its story though it could be so much better with a little more polish. That being said you went from around 2 million players to 500k players, so something must be up with that. So some people love it and want to play it, some people have played it and hated it now they are gone. 2. The subscription requirement was driving away huge numbers of people who do not want to commit to paying monthly. This isn't the reason at all, I won't attempt to speak for those who left but I do know why the people around me left. They left because the story, as great as it is, gets very predictable, very repetitive, and in some cases doesn't really fit for various classes. The next reason was the game is very linear, each class may have its own class quests, but each character you make does the exact same side quests with very little variations. Having different dialog for each race would have added a little variety. As an example Jedi Twi'lek would likely be treated differently when going into the first Twi'lek settlement in the Jedi starting area. I hate to bring it up but having multiple ways/paths for leveling and ensuring a rich endgame experience is one of the reasons WoW has been as successful as it is. 3. The frequency of our Game Updates was way too slow. People were leaving because we were not releasing new content fast enough to keep up with the pace at which it was being consumed. This is very true. Though had the game started out strong and didn't feel half complete at the start those I know would have been far more willing to wait for content. They don't mind that Blizzard has a "we will release it when it is as ready as it is ever going to be" mentality.
