  1. Fine, change the animations etc, rework the tree, but tying it all to HS would just gimp our damage unbelievably while making ammo completely irrelevant. Personally I want the demo round/GR debuff stacking bug fixed, no more +125% demos please. Change the sound effect for HIB. Change the animation and sound for grav and charged bolts.

  4. @ OP you realise of the 3 troopers in that screenshot with most dmg done only 1 is a commando who could have grav round? The other two are vanguards. Hint: 'Protection' >0 = tank AC. [citation needed] I've never seen any evidence for anything said in this post.
  5. It's not confirmed that they stack additively rather than multiplicatively. The latter is far more likely given all other forms of stacking in the game. So you're actually getting around 67% armor reduction by stacking 20% x5. Four stacks would give 59% armor reduction and three stacks 49%. Since an op boss has 35% absorb from armor each 20% reduction will change that to 28%, then 22.4%, 17.9%, 14.3% and 11.5%. i.e. the benefit of having more than 3 armor reducing stacks isn't necessarily worth stacking ACs/specs in your Ops group for.
  6. Sorcs/Sages already have the advantage that their shield is the only 'heal' not being reduced by 30% in PvP, which is pretty huge considering it already has a very generous coefficient and can be used while fully mobile. A downward tweak of their massive aoe isn't going to break them.
  7. I don't have a Razer product, but agreed. They should add more high-level versions of the green-black crystal just as they have for the pre-order yellow-black.

  9. AC? Spec? Often the lvl 49 purple earpieces are best in slot if crit-crafted and they have the right stats. Columi/Rakata ones are often overrated, like most tier set gear they have poor stat distribution e.g. far too much accuracy. They're good for pumping your HP if that's low however. For Vanguard tank BiS would be Veracity Galactic Combat Module crit with an absorb augment. For Commando dps you'd want something like Expert Reflex Enhancement Adaptor crit with power augment. Probably best for Vanguard dps too. Commando healing I don't know the name but it'll have some alacrity and a shedload of power.
  10. Vanguard dps is pretty nice. Just be aware it isn't as long-range as Commando, it's more of a melee/medium-range class.
  11. In council you're putting the armor debuff on your target but the PT isn't benefiting from it. In most fights that isn't the case. So not an entirely accurate comparison.

  13. Why exactly shouldn't those mods be craftable?
  14. Cell charger and curtain of fire procs are both tied to multiples of the standard GCD. Casting grav round faster than 1.5s will cause you to have these procs delayed. So you're not just using ammo faster, you're delaying procs for extra ammo regen and CD finish on your high-dps/ammo ability. Remember you aren't just getting alacrity for free, you're losing other stats which do not have this disadvantage in order to get it on your gear.
  15. If you're both BH you'll have to repeat each class story phase, if you play Op you can experience both storylines together.
  16. High-level crafting could require Op mats as long as they weren't BOP. Everyone's happy.

  21. It's perfectly viable. Seems dps is close to par with gunnery if you're careful about ammo. It is somewhat more mobile, but sacrifices armor penetration. Vanguard assault does seem stronger, though I'm not sure how Ion Pulse and Charged Bolts damage stack up against each other - and how the 2 piece Eliminator set bonus affects this.
  22. "crit" = "hit" when it's convenient then? With 42% crit chance your chance for a quadruple-crit is 3.1%... oh but that's "math".
  23. Daily gear is enough to start the easier HM FPs for sure.
  24. You gotta burn supercharge at the right time then pump out AMPs.
