Nah, the healer will get aggro too often for my taste. 4x lets you dps without pushback and is easy to keep up vs any non-champion with only 5 points in combat medic. He can tank non-elite pulls without needing a single heal.

I'd say gunnery gets somewhat better dps with slightly lower mobility but remember that even though this thread is specifically about dps there is more to pvp.... Assault gets that nice reactive shield cooldown talent for example, while gunnery buffs your knockbacks.

I'd agree commando feels a bit weak healing at lower levels because such a large majority of our ability comes from spending a lot of skill points. Things do get better.
