  1. Patch 2.1 released on the 14th of this month, and was preceded by teaser trailers posted as early as April 26th. BW is telling us that 2.2 is coming in 15 days and is chock full of new subscriber content! So when will we see teaser trailers or announcements as to what content will be in there exactly? I mean, if 2.2 is coming as soon as they say it is, it should be in the testing process right now shouldn't it? So that means the upcoming features are already created and they already know exactly what is coming with it. So why all of the secrecy? We knew what 2.1 was bringing quite a ways out, the BW marketing team made sure of it, I would just like content updates to receive the same amount of fanfare as a cartel market update would.
  2. I'm sure it'll appease the handful of people who didn't max their Gree rep in the 4 weeks of this event we've had so far this year.
  3. Just the gold one from the Cartel Market, not the ones you have to earn.
  4. What makes you think that? They claimed they were "listening to the fans" when they made DA2, and that game was more linear than Crash Bandicoot.
  5. He's talking about grade 30 crafted armorings, mods etc.
  6. I guess, but the you can't get PvP gear that way and the PvE stuff on the GTN isn't BiS, so who really cares? It's not like the P2W crowd will be stomping you in WZs, they'll just be better geared for Ops than they would be otherwise (which benefits you).
  7. I don't like that the "collections" are all Cartel items. When I heard collections were coming I was psyched to get my Desler Turbo on my alts without having to win rolls on Operations for each one. Of course I can't though.
  8. WHOA! Can anybody with the Resale Revan's Mask confim this?

    Expertise Crystal

Expertise crystals are required in Partisan or Conqueror weapons, if you use a power crystal in those you are hurting yourself. Of course in any weapon other than those, using expertise crystals would mark those items as "PvP items" and they wouldn't receive the bolster that they would otherwise, drastically lowering your stats in PvP.
  10. By comparison, most of my friends have already unsubbed and are now waiting to see if 2.2 will bring enough PvP content to make them come back. But whatever, summer's here and I shouldn't be spending so much time indoors anyways.
  11. None of this changes the fact that the amount of Cartel Coins given with the monthly allotment is not enough to unlock Cathar, and even if I refuse to spend any CC on any other feature or item, I won't be able to get it for another 37 days. As a subscriber. Using my complimentary coins. You don't feel like that's a little outrageous considering this is supposed to be a content update?
  12. So if I have a smartphone OR I'm lucky enough to live in North America where physical security keys are available, THEN I would receive enough CC to get Cathar? Additionally, I find it offensive when you infer that myself and others who don't have enough CC for the new content just "blow through all of their 500cc every month". Fact is, most of the new content released this year (outside of ROHC, which we all paid for separately and thus cannot be counted as part of our subs) has been Cartel Market exclusive, and if you want to enjoy the new content (I know I do!), you do have to spend your cartel coins. About the Barbershop costing less per slider you move, how many sliders would move if I switched my race from Twi'lek to Cathar? Probably most of them since very few of those customizations are on both races?
  13. Read the post, I DON'T have enough CC to unlock Cathar, and I one month stipend is NOT enough to unlock it. One month Stipend isn't enough to afford Cathar OR the barbershop.
  14. You don't seem to be grasping my point here, the original claim by BW was that the Cathar unlock would be priced in a way that subscribers would be able to afford it on their cartel allotments. I am pointing out that they are not priced in a way that is affordable for subscribers unless subscribers either stockpiled CC prior to release or just paid cash for them. To everyone who says I've know about it for a month and should have saved? Cathar costs 600CC, Barbershop costs 792CC for subscribers (total 1392CC). If I had saved my cartel coins from last month and add in the coins I am to receive in 6 days for my next allotment, that would come to a total of 1050CC (over 2 months). That isn't enough to make a character Cathar. At what point am I supposed to have started saving in order to afford the new "content" that released yesterday?
  15. I spent my CC on legacy unlocks, and maybe if the development team didn't emphasize quite so hard that I would be able to afford this on my cartel allotment (which I cannot), I would have saved some coins.
  16. Didn't BioWare make a statement about how cartel market prices are decided with the subscriber's monthly allotment in mind? I have 26 cartel coins and if I re-sub in a week, I'll receive 525 more coins. Meaning if I want Cathar OR to use the barbershop this month, I have to pay cash. Since I don't plan on buying more CC, I get no content from this patch.
  17. So this is like the "pets" section of the achievements page where the whole page is just cartel market items? You guys are surprised about this?
  18. You mean in after? The post you quoted basically says removing and fixing are not the same.
  19. If you are new to the game, do you know about custom armor yet? You can get a piece of orange gear that you can just update with new sockets every 4 levels or so and maintain a good set of gear the whole time you level! Each piece of Custom gear requires an Armoring, a Mod, and an Enhancement. Cybertech characters make Armorings and Mods, and you can buy Enhancements with planetary commendations from the vendors in the "Supplies" section of your fleet! If you do choose to go Cybertech, you can also make grenades for yourself (ANY CLASS!). I can't imagine not having a cybertech on my legacy, just for gearing alts.
  20. Still waiting on either a dev response to this thread or an in game response to my currently open ticket.
  21. Ok guys, maybe I'm missing something here, but it seems like the 28A mod would best one for most Guardians. Mod 28 (http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/gear/45716/advanced-deft-mod-28) has less STR than 28A (http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/gear/45389/advanced-deft-mod-28a), and while I do see that is has 4 less total stats and less power, isn't main stat supposed to be markedly more important than power in 2.0 with the changes to crit?
  22. I think the word you were looking for there was "marginal", not "massive"
  23. I remember that. PvE players complaining about having to do PvP while doing a quest called [PvP] Charging the Pylon. [PvP], not [DAILY], not [AREA], but [PvP].
  24. I think the "insult to injury" part was deciding that level 54 custom pieces give grade 7 augment slots on a crit. What's the point? You know I'm going to have to buy another MK-9 kit and install it anyways (which I get it I would have to do with any piece of gear but this is literally the highest level piece I can craft, and the exact same level as the gear I'm REing to get grade 9 aug kit parts).
  25. I still do not have the MK-9 kit, or the mats to craft it. In the case of the UT 450 mission I did get the credits back but was not offered the option to send a companion on that mission again until I bought another mission discovery.
