  1. This dude's stream is as good as watching Shay Laren bounce her ****
  2. Come to think of it, I have noticed that a few times.
  3. Huttball would be awesome if you actually got medals for trying to win.
  4. I'm a level 50 Sentinel, and this does not look the slightest bit unusual to me. I've got 363 expertise, watchman spec, and pull 400k+ damage and 75k+ heals (would be more on both, just picked up biochem). Oh, and somehow nobody has mentioned this explicitly yet in this thread: WATCHMAN SPEC HAS VERY SIGNIFICANT HEALING. Every time a watchman DoT application is a critical hit, we heal everybody in our party's HP by 2%. Sentinels have an ability called Zen that, when used in Juyo Form (watchman spec), makes our next 6 DoT's crits. Yup, every one. That's a guaranteed 12% of everybody in our party's HP in healing. Zen can also be used frequently when the Sentinel doesn't stop fighting (it doesn't have a cooldown, requires 30 stacks of a stacking buff. Four stacks every time we spend focus.). Plus the fact that about a fifth to a quarter of your average sentinel's DoT's will crit without that buff. Using no medpacks whatsoever, I can get the 75k healing medal in watchman spec. As many others have stated in this thread, bro you got camped and steamrolled. Sents are pretty ridiculous with pocket heals, and holy **** did that guy have pocket heals. Any pure DPS class played well with a significant amount of expertise should be able to brake 400k. This really isn't that weird. This is not overpowered, any pure DPS can do this. Sentinels, by the way, have a ramp up time (especially watchman), I guarantee they aren't bursting your dudes down in 2 or 3 hits. We have ONE hard hitting nuke (Merciless Slash) on a 12 second cooldown that crits for no more than 5k even on some of the best geared sentinels. Seriously, just roll with a premade. Your team was clearly awful, and their team was great (trust me, that sentinel had a LOT of support).
  5. Synyster's pretty fun to group with, I'm in his premades all the time <-- This guy is Artho

    Melee vs ranged

As a 43 sentinel I"m top damage and kills at least 75% of the time.

    Camera Auto Center

I know there's been a number of complaints about this, and I've read them yes, but I'm making a new thread anyway. Now ordinarily, I really wouldn't be up in arms about this. It's not THAT big a deal, but it is really annoying. HOWEVER, huttball. Camera auto centering makes passing the huttball a lot harder than it should be. A majority of people already don't pass it, why make it harder? I'm just a little upset that there's no option to get rid of the auto center, it seems like it would be an easy thing to do. Sadface
  8. The gist of each tree is as follows: Watchman uses a combination of direct damage and short term DoT's to do damage. They can burst, but not as hard as the other specs. However, their sustained DPS is arguably the best. Their dps builds up, essentially. It's nice in PvP because you don't necessarily need to stick to your target like glue, just get in close for a few seconds get your DoT's off, and let the hurt begin. Combat is a direct damage dealer. They hit hard and fast, frontloading a lot of their damage. They're a bit more mobile than watchman which makes sense due to their need to be attached to their target. This is what I play and I enjoy it a ton (I'm mostly a PvPer). Far and away our best burst tree, but it's sustained isn't quite at the same level as watchman. Focus is more balanced. This tree has skills for mobility, cheaper ability costs, and various other utility skills. This is, in my opinion, the best tree to start out with. The other two skill trees don't really come into their own until at LEAST level 20. Just pick whichever one suits your playstyle based on these explanations. May the force be with you
  9. Why would you care? Do you PvP for imaginary commendations and cool points? I know I could care less if there was no rewards and no gear, I PvP because I have a damn good time doing it and that is all. PvP for fun or go home, this is a non-issue in my book.
  10. Yeah, it would be awesome. But look buddy, we both know that isn't going to happen.

    Safe Area

There isn't really anything in the way of open world PvP until around level 25. You're safe until then.
  12. Sentinels are one of if not the most difficult class to play to their maximum potential. There's very very little room for error. We're basically the only pure DPS AC, so if you roll a sentinel it's good to be sure of it. If you're disappointed all I can really suggest is more practice; PvP is pretty good for that. Otherwise, oh well....
  13. You may not ALWAYS have a good, but you will damned often. A lot of jedi gear is chock full of robey stuff.

    PvP - Space Combat

Bioware has stated that expanding space combat to something beyond a rail shooter is one of the higher items on their to do list. They've also hinted to some kind of gigantor "secret project" related to space combat. We can only speculate but I imagine whatever it is, it'll be *********** awesome.
  15. Come at me bro. -World's best Jedi Sentinel
  16. Three factions? Sounds like Guild Wars 2 /creaminmypanties
  17. I love it. don't care which side I'm on. Say my Jedi Sentinel is level 35, every empire kiddy I see is attack on sight whether they're level 25 or 50, no problem. When they're significantly lower it just adds more fuel to the PvP machine my friend. She needs a steady supply of anger, ego, and tears
  18. Aw that sounds terrible my friend. I feel truly sorry for you. Don't worry, things will get better.
  19. If you're that on the fence, go for whoever you think looks more bad ***. That's what I'd do anyway
  20. Would you guys not be my friend anymore if I rolled a Sentinel on Fatman?
  21. Depends on your server, even then, it's kind of not so black and white bro...
