  1. Undying Rage is a huge problem actually. Being invincible for 5 seconds really isnt balanced. Mainly because if you ever get into a situation in which you and the Marauder are both low health, he will win 90% of the time especially considering he has a 15m ranged execute. You can make ridiculous claims like its 'easily counterable' but really its not. Most classes need to blow their CCs/Stuns to get the Marauder low in the first place meaning that either he has full resolve, or you have no cooldowns left.
  2. I played a similar game of Novare except it was awith 3 healers and 3 tanks and 2 marauders. It was pretty stupid, every healer was guarded. I do think something needs to change, perhaps a nerf to guard.
  3. Or you could not care since there is no reason to be uptight over semantics when you know the meaning of whats being said?

False Balance in 50 is pretty decent aside from a few standout classes that need a nerf. If you are getting destroyed by every class at level 50 you might just have to accept the realization that its you and not the game balance.
  5. Here are my suggestions for a very reasonable rebalancing of Powertech. 1. Puncture Rail Shot ignores [ 20 / 40 / 60]% of the target's armor. Moved higher up into advanced Prototype so that Pyros cannont spec into it while having 31 points in Pyro. Reason- Railshot does way too much damage and should not bypass basically all armor. 2. Prototype Particle Accelerator While Combustible Gas Cylinder is active, Flame Burst has a [15 / 30 / 45]% chance and Rocket Punch has a [20 / 40 / 60]% chance to finish the cooldown on Rail Shot and make the next Rail Shot free. This effect cannot occur more than once every 6 seconds No longer affects Rail Shot, rather it has a chance to proc a new ability entirely. Cannont occur more than every 10 seconds. Reason - Pyro is an extremely easy damage rotation, adding another primary ability to the rotation would make it somewhat more difficult.
  6. I bet you are someone that fails to realize that sages cannont dispel Powertech dots. nuff said
  7. I fully agree with you OP. The sad thing is that despite the effort you have made to squash the typical and false defender comments this thread will simply have a continual stream of people repeating the same things over and over because they are incapable of understanding simple reasoning.

Thats you. For many people the notion of winning every time is whats fun. When they lose they say its not fun.
  9. Probably because your suggestion that 1v1 doesnt matter and is not an indication that team play is unbalanced as well is completely false. If it a class is overpowered in 1v1, ie it destroys every other class in a 1v1 fight then it is necessarily overpowered in team play as well. Here is some pretty simple reasoning that proves this. X class is overpowered and easily defeats Y class in a 1v1. Therefore 2 Xs classes also easily defeat 2 Y classes in a 2v2. Therefore 3 X classes also easily defeat 3Y classes in a 3v3. Ect. Before you make a ridiculous claim like, 'thats why you need a proper team composition' or, 'there will never be a group of the same class on a team' you must know that if you absolutely NEED to have a specific composition in order to win and have a chance then the game is not balanced around teamplay at all. For the game to be balanced around team play any composition must have an equal chance of winning agaisnt any other composition. Having overpowered classes encourages stacking of those classes. So as you can clearly see, 1v1 balance directly influences team balance. If 1 or two classes are overpowered and have huge advantages over all of the others, then clearly stacking all of these classes in a team will still provide you with an advantage. There is no magically element in teamplay that suddenly makes an overpowered 1v1 class balanced. Balancing a game for 1v1 is balancing a game for teamplay. Simple as that. The idea that you overpowered classes just magically lose effectiveness in a team setting is false.

Why is it more fun? I will tell you why, pretty simple really. 1. Most people playing 10-49 Warzones are terrible. This leads to you destroying most people. This then leads you to believe it is more fun. 2. Gear doesnt matter. 1v2 or 1v3ing people because they are terrible can be pretty damn fun.

    Healer stat padding

The other day a Sage was doing this while solo defending a node in Novare. I stealthed up to him and 1 shot him taking the node and winning the game. Keep this is in the game so bads can lose games like this.
  12. You do nothing. lol I already asked about this in Q&A. Basically they said its all working as intended and is balanced, which is quite frankly a joke. While it would be somewhat less fun for certain classes id like to see a disabling of leaping/speed abilities on ball carriers and a greater emphasis on passing. Or even something like the explosion when the ball carrier is holding it too long happen faster. Sadly we will not get this. So u need to a decent jugg on your team to win.
  13. No one is going to fight over 20 comms when you can do a warzone and get 140. The rewards need to be better.
  14. i was also joking. Sorry you cant see that. Plus i already acknowledged i got the basic idea from WoW but the reply was deleted.
  15. 2p/2p is far better than Stalker set. Stalker set bonus isnt even worthwhile for Assassins that arent Deception. Pretty worthless for both Madness and Darkness.
  16. They need to hire me as lead PvP designer first, i gurantee you'd see an increase in subs. They wouldnt even have to pay me.
  17. Is winning the lottery once using a particular number system an indication that your system can win you the lottery every time? Hardly. Luck is a favor in everything. Can someone pull of an amazing vanish in WoW? Certianly. Can they do it consistently, nope. If you cant do it consistently it is not representative of some super human reflex ability its just a combination of anticipation and luck.
  18. You have no evidence for this assertion yet your entire argument rests on this baseless claim. Your reasoning is false for 3 reasons. 1. There are no identical classes in which one has stealth and one does not in this MMO or any other that i know of. 2. If 2 classes were identical, then it is impossible for one to have stealth and the other not, they must both have stealth or they are not identical. 3. Stealth only gurantees the first hit. This is not a FPS. First hit does not gurantee first kill. /thread.
  19. I agree, too bad all the bad overpowered PTs will coming flooding in here saying their class is 100% balanced. Its also quite clear that Bioware is clueless as there are no PT nerfs in 1.3.
  20. This. http://www.humanbenchmark.com/tests/reactiontime/index.php 30ms is not possible.
  21. Here is a very simple way to make PvPing in the Outlaws Den not only fun, but also promote a large amount of participation in world PvP. 1 . Add a timer visible to every player on Tatoonie. The timer will countdown to the spawning of a chest. The chest should spawn atleast 2 times per day during primetime. The chest should take between 5-10 seconds to open. The chest should contain interesting and desireable rewards with some related to PvP(Recruit Weapons do not fall into this category). Here is a list of things the chest should contain: -Rare chance to get a unique mount. -Rare chance to get a Color Crystal. -PvP consumables. -A sizeable amount of credits 30 000 or greater. -Some type of rare schematic. 2. Spawn 'high yield' resource nodes in the Outlaws den. These should have 10-20x the amount of resources of a normal resource node. Spawn 1 of each node every hour in static positions. Taking the node should take between 5-10 seconds. *Nodes should spawn ONLY during prime time as to not allow people to take the nodes when no one is playing* 3. Provide a NPC on the fleet that allows you to teleport directly outside of Outlaws Den and tells you the timer remaining for a chest to respawn.

  23. Pretty much ideal balance patch. But i doubt we will get this.
  24. 1.3 notes tomorrow. We will see what happens. I predict no to minimal balances changes across classes with minor tweaks to a few because i have no faith in Biowares balancing ability.
