  1. These rewards are not aimed at long term subscribers and it is a mistake to believe so. They knew with their subscription based episodic release that a lot of players would play the initial chapters, then leave and come back when the rest of the season has been released. This is what casual story players do, they run the story in the early launch/expansion/etc then they go do other things until the next release. This is Bioware's attempt to turn what would otherwise be $30 into $150. If you would not otherwise sub to the game is one extra chapter & another cookie cutter companion (out of 30-odd already) dressed up as a HK droid worth the extra $120? I guess time will tell.
  2. Don't be silily of course you will. The story ending will culminate in a fight where all 40 of your companions fight the big baddie (insert Valkorian reborn / Arcann / Vaelyn here) while you AKF
  3. He's also starting an uprising with his B****es So be afraid, BE VERY AFRAID!!!! Mac's B****es are coming!!!
  4. PT is the easier of the 2 with better passive mitigation & better mobility. Jugg has much better DCD's but if you are new to tanking probably start on the PT. Edit: Also in regards to Ops tanking, either are viable and bring different utilities to the fights, for the newest tier of Ops from 3.0 Juggs were not very popular (mainly due to the Damage profile of Revan being mainly F/T & HTL being awesome). But now that all the Ops are scaled it's less of an issue what class you bring.
  5. You Sir, Have won the internet today - Congratulations!!!!
  6. I was very disappointed to find one of your "Co-Gm's" giving a bad name to Co-GM's everywhere by trolling the server. Please consider taking appropriate action against him. https://gyazo.com/c26045332a7278021eefd678395cbfde
  7. Are you from the Harbinger? Co-GM is not really a measure of skill, it better reflects the difficulty of managing a guild combined with how much we love democracy! It's just how things are done over here.
  8. I agree that there probably are some nerfs (Soa Pylon drop circle), but are you sure things like the DF/DP mechanics are not just SM mechanics you've forgotten cos its been so long since you did SM
  9. We are on Harbinger sorry - maybe try your server forum - I replied to OP as he mentioned being willing to transfer for his kills. Hope you can find someone on TEH to help you out.
  10. Hi - Check out this link - http://tede.enjin.com/gearsales The <Ex-Dalborran Elitists> can probably sort you out. We are predominantly APAC but can do US times for (US) Friday/Saturday nights. Get in quick if you want stuff before 4.0
  11. If you haven't experienced this, you really need too!! This is something everyone needs in their life. just sayin
  12. Still looking for a few more APAC players to fill our ranks.
  13. Hi, We're looking for a few extra members to join our team currently working on Progression of HM content, to increase our pool of raiders and have fill ins for absences. The team is currently 7/10 and currently raids Friday & Saturday Nights 7:30pm AEST (APAC). We have lately also been doing some casual 16M HM content (5/10) with <Ewokalypse Now> which has also been fun. We're preferably looking for a Vanguard Tank & Vanguard DPS, but we are happy to consider any competent player. Contact myself (any toon in sig) or Ameel in game, or alternatively apply @ http://tede.enjin.com/
  14. Guild: The Ex-Dalborran Elitists (Team 2) Progress: 7/10 - (Team 1 - 10/10 - mostly inactive) Faction: Republic Region: APAC
  15. Hi there, The <Ex-Dalborran Elitists> is a predominantly APAC guild raiding at AEST (GMT +10) times and would be able to accommodate Tanks or DPS with solid awareness for current content. You can /who elitists and ask any of the toons in my sig below or Ameel in game, alternatively you can apply on our website.
  16. I'm actually adding my feedback and suggestions not on my desire to have some rare armour "for free", but based on the premise that OP wants a large group of members to be able to have access to a style that can be somewhat unique among the many different guilds in the game . I don't have any particular objections to Karaejis' suggestion that the item rarity be restricted. Your assumption that people only want this to "abuse" the system is not based in any reality other than perhaps the one that you went out and blew $50M creds on some fancy armour that you don't want to see other people wearing. Restricting a guild to wearing armour that they can all obtain reliably, significantly diminishes the options available (without requiring them to outlay RL money to obtain CC's which is not a fair expectation). This would mean that there would be little differentiation by visual appearance as only a very limited number of options would be available. Whilst the original suggestion (in it's first form) may have been subject to abuse, i think it could definitely been refined to eliminate this issue. Just saying "No, because I don't want you to have it" is not constructive criticism. You have put across your objections and others have offered effective suggestions to combat your issues so maybe just accept that some other people can put forward interesting ideas to add to the game that you don't necessarily agree with. Although from my observation any suggestion in any thread is contrary to your acceptance.
  17. Exactly, if they want it forever they buy it, for themselves, then they have it forever. Johnny does not have access to Billy's gear for free. Johnny or Billy, or their entire guild can get together to purchase a second set and donate it to the guild to wear as a temporary Guild Uniform.
  18. Missed this - Yes per person it is cheaper but; a) The seller on GTN is still getting full price for the item. b) No individual guild member owns this appearance forever (maybe with the exception of the GM), it is only ever temporary. The player who has purchased it themselves has access to unlock it on all their toons, on both factions, regardless of the guild they are in. There is a significant benefit for this player long term - hence the higher cost.
  19. This is logistically unlikely for a large guild, whilst it "can" be done, the reality is that it most likely can't, with the exception of using the horrible gear they give you on rishi or yavin etc, but even then there are variances between player classes so it wouldn't really be a uniform.
  20. Firstly I'm curious as to how many guilds have 500 individual accounts to contribute the $100,000 each, in most guilds that I know and interact with people have 3-8 alts in their guild so it would be more like $500k - $1M pp. Having more buyers (guilds vs individuals) with greater financial means, but the same supply of Rare armours would likely push prices up not down, in my suggestion these armours are consumed if donated to the guild so the supply does not increase. As it stands there is no reason for the 3 members off a 500 member guild to buy that armour set for "uniform" purposes because 3/500 is hardly a "Guild Uniform", therefore your point is pretty much moot. Also as previously stated by linking to current guild only, once you leave (or get kicked) from a guild you lose that cosmetic appearance. Plus it is subject to change by the guild at any time without the consent of regular members, so there is no guarantee you will be able to use it indefinitely. Also, obviously each guild is capped at 500 members, so the ability for all players from all guilds to utilise the same armour is nill, this is compounded by rarity. How many people are going to actually change guilds based on a desire for a certain appearance? (Maybe on an RP server - serious question as I'm not really sure, personally I wouldn't)
  21. So how many of those $10M dollar pieces actually turnover on a REGULAR basis? There are not 500 of any rare armour on sale in the market so your example is impossible. Assuming the guild is wanting a whole set - that's 7 pieces Assuming the average for all 7 pieces of a rare set is $7M (admittedly a guess) that's $49M for the guild to purchase the entire set. (How many guilds still don't have a guild ship because it's too expensive?) Plus any rare dye cost. Not that many individuals have the means to purchase multiple rare armour items, so allowing the guild to pool their funds to purchase whole sets might actually benefit the rare's market. Personally I don't really care, I'm happy to outfit my own toons in a individual way, but the conclusions being jumped to are excessive and largely overstated IMO.
