  1. Well I think it's official now ... every class has been called OP now
  2. I read something about /stuck being abused lately ... could be something with that? Other than I am not sure.
  3. But wait ... they just fixed frozen shockwater ... because you know it was COMPLETELY overpowered /sarcasam They need to fix a lot of issues first before implementing a deserter buff to be honest ... number 1 is fixing the issue with the number of players going into a wz. If I seen there was more than 8 on the other side I just left the wz ... or if I seen other exploits being used, which is rampant right now btw I would leave. To add a deserter debuff right now is just pentalizing the honest players twice right now.
  4. Yes sir ... I assume I won't be posting once the time is up. "You have 1 day of play time remaining. When your play time runs out, you will no longer be able to play. Please sign up for a recurring subscription plan or redeem a Game Time Code." I am pretty sure I didn't say SWTOR is a failure ... matter of fact I think the PvE and story line in SWTOR is pretty dang good and is pretty satisifying. I brought other points of concern as many others have for BW to hopefully see. K bye I guess? lol
  5. You really won't see a new game made like you are looking for. As any other business out there today are there to make sure they make a profit and make money. Their isn't a big enough market for what you are asking for to make a game profitable or maybe even break even after development costs. MMO's of today will be for the most part focused on bringing in the mass rather than catering to a minority. Have you played Darkfall yet? I think it is still up and running at least lol
  6. I really really wanted SWTOR to be really really good. For me personally it has fell short at this point, as my sub ends today, which honestly I feel a little sad about because I really wanted to continue playing. It's a wonderful game for the PvE crowd, and the story lines are defiantly like no other, which they for sure lived up to. However, as my guild link would show myself and our small guild are die hard PvP fans since UO. There are a lot of things great with SWTOR's PvP, but there are more things holding back and hurting it right now that is outweighing the good to keep the PvP'ers playing. For me I honestly love ALL 3 warzones in this game. Things hurting the PvP right now turning off players are things like cheats/exploits, some slight class balance issues, the UI is a huge issue for many ( Skill response and Ui issues still have some problems, although it is defiantly better than the first few weeks of release), Illum really is a joke currently, it should be scrapped until it can be completely fixed and revamped in my opinion. Melee currently is at a slight disadvantage in many situations in my opinion. The 2 classes I prefer for my style are the Gunslinger/Sniper and Sent/Maurdarer ... both classes are currently have some disadvantages compared to other classes, however they can be overcome by a decent player to some extent at least. Not having a combat log is a HUGE turn off to most PvP'ers ... we want to SEE in numbers what we are doing. Now, I am sure someone will quote this and comment with something like Go back To WoW nub etc etc ... but I am actually waiting on GW2 for now and was really hoping SWTOR would be able take me up to that point at least if not beyond. I don't wish failure upon BW and SWTOR and hope they can get things worked out for players coming in to the game in the future. I have a bad feeling their Game Engine is going to hold back on making the needed fixes possible howerver.
  7. Exactly this ... if ANY MMO is going to release now days ... it better be pretty darn good start out of the gate ... good or bad or indifferent ... it's what the market is demanding by the majority of it's customer base now days.
  8. What in the world does your post have to do with what the OP said? It's like the SW die hard fans are instantly going into a "This isn't WoW... go back to WoW mentality instantly with every thread. The OP is talking about exploits and cheaters running rampant in SWTOR ...
  9. There is no cooldown ... if they are in cover ( If you see their little shield up in front of them) They have increased defense of 20% and can't be interrupted.
  10. I am more worried that it took the sniper 30 seconds to kill you if you were unable to perform any action for that 30 seconds. In my opinion buff sniper/gunslinger
  11. I'd play my Sentinel over my sage .... but the animation skill stuttering is rtarded and annoying. However I love the idea of the Sent class and all ... the problem is it doesn't always work. So for now I will be one of those Sage/Sorc players
  12. If there is only a single class in the current state of the game that is able to take a player from 100-to near 0 in a 4 second stun why in the world would they adjust ALL the other classes to balance the issue? It makes zero common sense. How about this .... make the stun breakable with every classes cc break ability .... oh wait that won't work ... matter of fact that would be horrible for the OP/scound.
  13. I have a suggestion before you go stomping off to your bedroom. This is the first major class tweaking they have made since launch. You may want to wait to see what the FINAL implementation is on LIVE before you go get all bent out of shape. It is on test server right now for a reason ... to test changes before going live. If I were to guess this is not going to live as is ... the 20% armor pen will stick .... I also believe the stun will not stay at 4 secs... that is eternity in a PvP setting. I could see them readjusting the acid blade reduction and making the stun 2 or 3 seconds when its all said and done. Of course I could be wrong considering this is the first major class balance change so far for live. In my opinion this will set the tone of what to expect from BW moving forward when it comes to class balance issues. After this change I believe they need to focus on making sure abilities work proper and all skills and talents are working and everything is responsive. A class like the Sentinel right now suffers from this more than a OP/Scoun being a bit too strong.
  14. It isn't a nerf ... it's class balance. Anyone who truly believes that OPs/Scound's didn't need some tweaking is a self indulged baddie. I keep hearing the argument about armor and they have nothing else, its plainly a BS argument and untrue. Armor value in this game in my opinion is such a small difference its almost pointless to have the 3 types. We are talking what 3% difference? Not to mention have any of you self indulged baddies went it gave the changes a try on the test server? Probably not ... you all knew this was coming ... hell there were Op players giving very good suggestions of things that could be changed to improve the situation.
