It is difficult to say. I don't think it has any less end game content per se that any other MMO including WoW. The issue is, at least in my opinion, that it differentiated itself on the story experience of the game. Undeniably, levelling a char in SWTOR is way more fun than levelling a character in WoW, but one you hit lvl 50 and you have done your class quests, there is nothing...so all of a sudden, the thing that made SWTOR different is gone. So then you are back to the normal MMO grind of dailies and FPs. It is not that it would be worse than other MMOs, its the fact that they levelled with great stories which came to a halt, making people more critical towards SWTOR than for example WoW. Plus WoW has a huge history, if WoW started last year and was the way it is now, it wouldn't have many subs either. Its purely based on history and people being used to it.

40% of players said that one problem is the reason. 60% of players said other parts of the game are a problem, each is different, lets say 3 problems that gives 20%, 20%,20% to each problem, making it the minor problems (numbers are made up and serve just for explanation). In other words 100 players left, 40 players said money is the issue...then there is the rest 60% out of which there are 3 issues money = 40% out of a 100 = 40 people other = 60% out of a 100 = 60 people but out of 60 people, 20% out of total 100, (30% of the 60 = 20 people) have reason A = 20 people reason B = 20 people reason C = 20 people together = 60 people so 60%. and 40 people is > than any other 20 people for the other problems. Parreto charts are good for this, even though its just 40%, its 40 people for one reason as opposed to 20 for 3 other reasons, making those 40 people a much bigger issue, that needs to be solved first.

And you can read everyone's mind and have access to the statistics of why subbers leave, I see. I am one of those people. I have less and less time to play SWTOR and when I log on for an hour a day to play a little and within that hour I won't be able to do much I don't feel quite happy about spending money on something I cannot play. Don't get me wrong, £8.99 is not much at all, but its still something that could be used on something else. It is a bout setting priorities, I don't mind spending money on things I like and have time to do, I do not like wasting money on something I can barely touch due to work/personal obligations. Plus I also want to try out GW2, so I will have even less time to play SWTOR for a while but I do not want to stop playing completely. Thats why I welcome the change from just month. sub. to munth.sub. + f2p content. So before you start stating again that you can read other people's minds and know the answers on the reasons why they all left (most probably based on the thoughts your friends had when leaving or w/e), please provide why your opinion is more relevant than other people's opinion, please do.

You have a weird definition of a market. A market is not one company that is doing best. A market is all companies within that commodity so if you want to compare a game within "a market" then you need to compare it not only to WoW but to all games within that market, such as Rift, AoC, EvE etc. small or large.

Hmm, are you sure? Whenever I asked someone about it I have been told it was from the belsavis World Boss. I think we even once did a run for an artifice guy in our guild. I am a little confused now. Just to make sure, I mean the purple colour crystal, talking about colour and not "quality".

Arguing with people that say your assumptions are incorrect and think their arguments and perceive their assumptions are accurate is a waste of time and effort that could be spend wisely otherwise. So, just don't bother mate.

No one can guarantee anything, it is all speculation, you were however referring to LOTRO as the possibility of subbers paying for new content as well, which is not true. All I was saying.

Such updates like 1.2, 1.3,1.4 that bring new operations and similar stuff is going to be "free" for subscribers and they will not get charged whereas f2p will have to buy it if they want to play it. Expansions such as was Cata, or Lich King will be paid for by all just as it always was.

My only biggest fear is that with the option to go F2P the quality of the game will degrade...content, story, technically, and everything else...they will be less motivated to work properly (if they did in the first place this prolly wouldn't have occurred but oh well...} basically work hard for 1.2 mil people each paying £8.99, €12.99, $14.99 each month or work hard for 500,000>x paying people and the rest playing for free? don't think they will be working as hard for the latter option

Depends on your gear, the situation and the group. When I am with people that I know or I think they are smart enough I do not bother with normal and weak mobs, coz those should be taken out asap by smart DPS, and I only tank strong and higher mobs. If you are not yet geared enough for some HM FP, you might not want to tank all mobs in the group of mobs since you might take a lot of damage, spiky damage, which could ultimately overpower the healer therefore in some situations it is acceptable, even preferable to spread the damage out a bit with the majority of mobs being on the tank and the rest on the dps respectively, but never on the healer. So in general, you want to tank all or as much as physically possible (ranged mobs excluded if they are too far away but aggro them a little and hope each dps does not attack a different target) but in some situations, it can be easier for the healer to spread the damage, evading a wipe on trash.

Shame well I will never probably get into a HM Operation, and I levelled artifice on my char to just get this purple crystal thingy. Is it still possible to obtain the schematic from the belsavis world boss? Thanks

So there is no chance of me getting a purple crystal unless I do PvP which I despise and get a crystal that I can use in PvE, as in non-expertise?

Oh god I remember having an amazing time trying to get to the last Belsavis datacron surrounded by lava ;D. I (consular shadow) was hunting for datacrons with my Vanguard friend and we had difficulty jumping onto the island high enough to reach the datacron, so I had an idea. I told him to stand on the edge of the cliff towards the datacron and then I challanged him to a duel. I used force wave to get him onto the island and right to the datacron ! THen he simply graplerhooked me to him, WIN!. Whenever we did anything in heights we'd be in combat so that he could save me if I failed. I was always the first to jump so he can pull me back up in case I miss and when I managed he jumped to me . Hunting datacrons was cool, especially since I am afraid of heights and no clue why but I seem to be horrified by looking down in a game as well haha call me weird. But definitely loved the whole process. Try to get a friend to do it with you its a ton of fun. Though I agree some of the datacrons (such as the str one on tattooine with the balloon) is just a waste of time taking way too long but the majority of them were a blast to get!

Seeing that a worse geared dps sage has stronger heals than me with a higher resource pool and no restrictions such as cd on the quick heal (stupid idea to have a quick heal restricted by cd ) i decided to stop healing on my trooper as it is no longer fun for me, and I love healing and was a healer in all mmos.

I just spend 1 hour and 120k of credits trying to kill Malgus in FE HM coz he was bugged as ****. - people could not target him - he was physically somewhere else than his image - he randomly jumps to his throne - a random death of a player ? still no clue what happened there (he neither dropped nor got focused by the tank, just died) - people getting pushed INTO a wall and being stuck there - he randomly teleported in the map (not jumped but teleported lol) not mentioning the prior run of Maelstrom prison and the beloved "shoot through crates and one-shot people" boss, where people also randomly get stuck around the grates. So I just decided to cancel my sub since I don't like PvP, waiting with alt levelling for 1.2, and the only thing I enjoy (FP) are bugged beyone belief. Deffo not going to be paying money to get frustrated, can get that IRL for free ^^
