People always find a way to QQ Glad you're enjoying it, new gearing up system makes it easier to get into PvP but more time consuming to properly gear up with Champ stuff Melee classes have it worst, as an Op i was staying in stealth a lot and just focusing on objectives pretty much without getting into unnescessary fights
  2. Print it out and put it on your wall people. This is exactly why I play an Operative, despite the shortcomings and nerfs I am still capable of stopping your ball carrier 5 meters away from the goal line and making sure he doesn't get there, interrupting your cap in the last moment when you feel like you've almost got it, in Huttball the moment you get the ball I can be your worst nightmare and you will come here writing about how Operatives are overpowered. We pay a high price in mobility to be able to do those things, and recently we payed in our damage. It's still a very viable class and can turn the whole warzone around.

I think Operative needs short range jump-like ability (a la Kaliyo knife jump) 1 min cd 15 meter range. 1 min cd is long enough for this ability to have very situational use and guarantee against spamming it while giving a fighting chance after being knocked down at pivotal moment in Huttball. One Sorc with 20 sec cd knockback can completly eliminate you from the fight and force to run all way around to come back up which is usually too late. And then he can knock you back again.

As an Op and 1v1 situation, if both my Evasion and Probe are on CD and I get caught out of stealth then I stun and run, if not I pop evasion and relics to try and put him into defensive position. I don't feel very comfortable fighting Marauders/Sentinels if I don't get the opener since a couple of lucky crits with 100% armor penetration debuff and they tear you to pieces. Edit: I do believe the class is balanced though. I feel like I have fair fighting chance most of the time if I have all abilities at my disposal just like with any other class.

This is funny how everybody says sorcerer is weak in PvP in higher levels, I stopped playing my sorc in early access at lvl 43 I noticed how easy it was in PvP, how little i had to think about what I was doing and after I realized I was topping all damage meters (alongside fellow sorcerers) by not doing anything special, just using all the abilities my class was given. This was as deep madness tree Hybrid spec is atm at least 20-30% higher in dps output than Madness even if you dot everything in sight and run out of force thanks to that, has much higher burst damage without really sacrificing any utility (you lose paralyze on Creeping Terror but gain one on bubble break/knockback) so you actually GAIN cc and damage.
  6. 1) Put knockback on 1 min CD and keep the root then I can live with it as it is, if it stays 20 sec cd then I want the root 2sec max, breaking on damage in an INSTANT - ideally sorcerers need to think before they used this skill and keep it off CD for ball carrier etc. 2) Pull skill (forgot the name sorry) needs to be talented deep into tanking tree - tanks already have to sacrifice damage for utility which makes sense 3) Lower co-efficiency of hybrid build by moving Wrath up deeper into Madness, in other words taking Chain Lightning and Wrath should be still possible but not being able to spend points into Forked Lightning and Lightning Effusion in the same time, this would require moving the talents about in lightning tree 4) Make Lightning tree more attractive to PvPers so that both deep Lightning and Madness (which already is very viable and IMHO balanced) are viable at endgame pvp/pve Without breaking the class this would solve pretty much all current issues.
  7. I know how to overcome those issues. ALL FORMS OF CC including physics based like knock back and root need to fill resolve bar so you can't be rooted then stunned then blinded and then slowed kk?

  9. Oh no, just two-three sorcs holding hands in circle aoe-ing the **** out of the opposing team hitting silly numbers is fine. You're right, you won over me with your solid logic.
  10. Ok so now sorceres can't DPS. Bioware how can you not tell they are so underpowered? I'll start taking screenshots after every warzone we'll see who's topping up damage charts.
  11. Uh, don't forget when you choose your AC there's second tab with the AC specific abilities, they let you do really cool things you should check it out.
  12. You must be joking. Being able to control your opponent and do damage makes no freaking difference in 1v1? Do we even play the same game? Now 1v1 aside, as it doesn;'t really matter that much what makes a difference when you have 3 sorcerers on opposing team and one on yours in Huttball. Chain pulling the ball carrier, sprinting through flames with the ball, pulling the ball carrier across flames, knocking back the ball carrier of the ledge alongside everybody else around him... Stupid amount of game changing control at NO DPS COST.

  14. You serious? Sorc has gazzilion ways to keep his opponent at distance. It's so easy to kite and kill stuff I feel like my IQ is dropping down just from playing this class on my alt. In PvP, unless zerged, sorcerer has NO RIGHT to lose to anyone 1v1 unless you have no idea how to play it or you've just about run out of all cd's/got massively outgeared, then tough ****.
  15. it's their utlitity that imho needs looking at shield/knockback+root/friendly pull/sprint/stun/incapacitate/snare/blind on shield break they are like frost mages, except with more utility and you can have all that by choosing pvp cookiecutter build they all are playing with
  16. Well I was sort of prepared for it on my Operative, I was expecting to do little damage and get torn apart in warzones. It has to be worse so it could get better, that's how the system works. I'm not too concerned about it for the time being. When I dinged 50 I already saved up 1000 wz and merc commendations, then finished my daily and weekly so after two days I had 3 champion items including the weapon and 30something centurion commendations. Most of the bags I opened had centurion commendations mind you, so I wasn't lucky in particular or anything.
  17. To OP I'll just say - you're full of CRAP you clearly don't want your class nerfed but it will happen. You know why? Because poeple don't like dying without having any control over their character. Bioware will shift some of the burst damage to sustained, bump surv a bit and that's that. Same as WoW did with rogues. Then you can actually try and PvP and show some of those "skills" instead of spamming backstab and restealthing after. You can write page long posts about how you're supposingly right and everyone else don't know how to play their class. Won't change much. This nerf is coming I absolutey guarantee you it will happen VERY soon.
  18. Same here, 2.5GHz Q8300, 280GTX with 4GB RAM. Warzones 20-30 FPS with dips below 20 often enough to make me want to throw my PC out the window. Edit: this btw is with everything on LOW
