  1. So far, I'm 0-9 on BM bags. I have the full set of champ gear, my tank pet has nearly a full set with about 5-6 duplicate champion pieces in the vault. Now I get MORE champion comms. Ask me again, why do I need more champion comms? So, I rolled an alt, and am playing my main only for the two dailies. So far, my alt is level 24, valour 24. I have the entire lvl 20 set and am almost done with the lvl 40 set while I'm at level 24. I have ZERO BM pieces. So what exactly is my motivation here? There is really no use in playing my main at this point. You guys at BW want me to keep playing AND paying you? WHY should I? Don't even get me started about having to play at least an additional hour every day because of the stupid bug where WZ's don't count. FIX THIS GAME!
  2. How could this not have been addressed already? It's extremely frustrating to win warzones and not have them count towards your daily/weekly quests. This needs fixed, and soon!
  3. This isn't my first day at the rodeo, but this class is badly broken. After playing other classes, it's sooo glaring that sentinel is weak that I literally have very little desire to play my sentinel anymore, even though he's very well geared. We have no knockback we must be in melee for the vast majority of our skills We are the only class (warriors) that don't get an in combat self heal We wear medium armor Our DPS on our off hands is atrocious Animation delays kill our skills There's just so much more I could say, but I hope you get the point. To really play well you have to be extremely well geared and be a biochem. That's really it. Even then it's a struggle and alot of work to do your team (pvp) any good. Did I mention you aren't wanted in pve groups? Yea that's a problem.
  4. Afk'ers should be penalized, sure. However, if I am thrown into a warzone with a group of completely incompetant players, I will leave and leave quickly. If I get into a match against a speed hacker, I will leave. If I go into a voidstar match and the other team plants a bomb within the first 15 seconds, I will leave. If I get into a warzone with players who have no idea how to work as a team, I will also leave. I can only choose three other players to to warzone with and as such, if feel the need to leave, I will. The system just replaces me anyway, so what's the issue? Some people leaving can be a bit a bit excessive though on the other hand. I had someone leave an Alderran match where we won 600-0. I shouldn't be punished for being thrown into a game where I join and it's already started and our team is badly losing either. That's just a waste of time. I need to win warzones as a level 50, not just participate in them.
  5. Tracer missile also should be toned down. I know this game is set in a technologically advanced place, but ffs those rockets shouldnt hit you when you're behind a pillar either.

    Slippery Slope

No sir, YOUR faction crossed the line with this and YOU know it.
  7. You know what the most sickening joke of all of this is? They are letting the people who are farming there now, even after they recognized it was a huge mistake, stay there! Not only that, but for all of you people that didn't go there and do your thing, you can't go now. That's just the kind of brainless thought process that a dead horse game designer would have. If they offered the people who bought Collector's editions to go to Ilum just for an hour tonight, imagine how many more copies they would have sold! LMAO! But the worst of it really is, in their official response not only did they have the nerve to mention that "republic players may have been doing it, but they had the gaul to mention them in the sentence BEFORE the imperials. Give me a freaking break! Show me one picture of republic players zerging the imperial base spawn point and I'll gladly keep paying you. Trust me, I have PLENTY of the imperials doing it along with fraps footage as well.

    We are stuck here!

Helm of Graush server. Come look at this in Ilum. I cannot even rez. Look, really the bottom line is, if something isn't done and done soon, the only choice we have as republic players is to log. I really cant be any more blunt than that.
  9. I'm curious as to how much thought was given into this while Ilum change? I'm writing this as I lay here dead inside my own base, after having been zerged by a group of with imperials, only to then be immediately killed again by what seems to be 100+ other imperials before I even load in at the respawn point. That is the first problem. The second problem revolves around all those imperials who are now gaining valour by unfathomable amounts by destroying the turrets INSIDE the republic base. So in essence, Bioware has given incentive to bring half the server to one spot to camp every republic player who rides into the base. Now, I'd like to share a picture of all of this with you: http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o311/leekae-starsider/Screenshot_2012-01-18_13_08_43_916526.jpg You see all of those Imperials? They will have more valor rank than me in a few hours than I've accrued through legitimate play in a month. Here's the catch though. There is no wars in "Star Wars" without two sides fighting. I, for one, am not going to deal with this kind of thoughtless development. We are each other's content and without both, there is no game. Anyone who can honestly respond to this and say it's a good system really needs a reality check.
  10. The lack of foresight in some of these posts is disturbing.
  11. So if there isn't favoritisms being made here, can we get ONE republic advantage for a class over their Imperial mirror?
  12. Ok Shake, it was you who I was reffering to. When that WZ ended and I saw you outhealing healers I was fairly shocked. I hate to drop 400 cybertech for Biochem but at this rate, it may be worth it. lol
  13. I was about to comment similarly from what I gathered from the video as well. The poster was playing well, but I couldnt really gather that much from the video because of the opponent's levels and also having dedicated heals. On Helm of Graush, you're lucky to find a non-50 in a warzone these days and if you do, he's supported by several 50's.
  14. We are underpowere in one way. While all other classes, to my knowledge, have front-end loaded bars, we are stuck building up to that point with our focus bar. This means we must build up to our bigger skills while other classes have them available from the beginning of a fight. It can be good and bad. Once we build up our focus we can do well, but we spend it very quickly for the results we do get. Long term fights we prevail, but in shorter fights we are on the short end of the stick, aka in warzones especially. I found PVE to be especially easy for the most part all the way through to 50, with the lone exception of one boss fight where you travel to the space mine. I figured out NOT to interrupt one of his skills and he went down the first time after that. Playing a melee dps class can be frustrating, this latest version in Swtor can be from time to time as well, and that's coming from someone who's been highly regared as a melee dps class player across three games and with almost ten years experience doing so.
  15. Thanks for the spolier alert for those who have yet to get there! IN all honesty, PVE as a sentinel is pretty much a breaze, just keep yourself and doc fairly well geared and you should be good to go all the way to 50.
  16. Trinket has a 2 minute cd. What part about that don't you get? It's not as if the only time any other players need the trinket is when they get hit by an operattive. GIVE ME A FREAKING BREAK!
  17. I don't know why you took the time to multi-quote me. What I said is correct.
  18. So let's get this straight, some of the operatives here are saying "just use your trinket". What happens when your trinket is on CD? You die laying there. What happens when you DO use your trinket? Ok, so you're at half health (or less) from the opening move. Great. I suppose the operatives here think they are twice as bad out of stealth than all other classes right? That's what it would take to be equal and balanced. I almost forgot, they will just cc you again, almost immediately. There's no trinket going to save you against this class, you're going to die no matter how well you play. Before someone quotes me, let me just say that to tell me to learn how to play or learn your class is beyond comical. That opening move, as well as the sickly short cd on their cc afterwards will leave even the best players dead on the floor or standing there looking foolish. Period. Don't even try to defend it.
  19. I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before, but because these forums have no search function I can't tell. The Bug in the voidstar WZ happens when you get stuck underneath the floor at random spots. Today's patch introduced this bug as I have yet to see this happen once in countless runs before this. So, you go under the floor and after about 5 seconds you die, no matter what you do. Our healer got stuck multiple times under the floor and killed and eventually the game booted her completely out of game. At this point, the Voidstar is borderline unplayable. Please look into this and correct the issue that today's (1/5) patch created.
  20. Ok, so if the bracers are available for all classes at lvl 43, where can I find them?
  21. Defending someone's right to play the game as they choose is a fine idea, but when those choices devalue my 15 dollars I take issue as I'm sure many others do as well. I might also add that defending people that are purposely exploiting goes beyond respecting players rights and to me, is shameful.
  22. Over the last week, I've seen no less than a dozen players enter a warzone then immediately go /AFK somewhere hiding. To me, this is a huge issue. 1) It can cripple the efforts of their teammates by forcing them to play with one less player. 2) There is no mechanism to stop this sort of behavior that I'm aware of. Even if you are OPS leader you still cannot boot a leacher. Once a player leaves the "protected" area, they can basically do as they wish. 3) Those players will still receive XP, Commendations and valor for doing absolutely nothing more than stepping through the "protected" barrier. Stealth classes are especially easy to do this with as nobody even knows they are actively doing so unless they keep a close eye on their map. So I ask, what sort of solution is there to this issue? It really makes WZ's including these players alot less fun and immensly more difficult to win, let alone highly agitating. Is there some sort of 'reporting" mechanism we can use to discourage this? If so, I'd like to know what can be done.
  23. I honestly don't think either side is OP, it's just that Republic players are rolling with 80% guardian/sentinel Jedi while Imperials are running with about 15% as far as I an tell.
