  1. So you take 10 000 players You remove 5000 credits a day for their quick travel needs every day for each of them Now there are 50m less credits in circulation that there would otherwise be, without affecting them as individuals. that won't fix anything by itself but it's needed for long term There's a reason every game in the history of online gaming has this method of slowly removing credits from the game, and most don't even have means to quick travel as easily as we do in swtor
  2. it's pretty good honestly, simple and permissive enough to not become a pure hassle/sweaty grind, but it still makes you do stuff you normally wouldn't for shiny rewards. Simple and effective. My favorite was the duros one. Pretty decent customisation, good performances (dual blaster), badass looking and it's one that's not too jarring to hear speak non-basic. As improvements, i would like to see more "unique" companions, as in less represented combat styles. Maybe melee ones, maybe ones that use rare weapons (like shield + pike, even some droids npc have thoses, surely companions could?). I understand why they don't speak basic, but hey, it's still on my wishlist to have one who does. Mostly yes. The decorations are usually pretty unique and clean, and there has been a lot of good looking weapons over the season (also hot take time, i like the current season's weapons, they're super unique). I haven't been the biggest fan of the sets yet, and i'm not saying they disgust me, i'm just saying i've never been "woah'd" yet. The mounts also happen to be decent most of the time. The s2 lvl100 mount is beautiful, the current low lvl speeder bike is also a very nice one IMO. Not fan of the painted one, but it's because it wouldn't fit my characters. Now, i'd like some less criminal oriented stuff, we've had 3 seasons of it. s2 especially had an insanely good looking reward track, show us what you can do with other themes for the most part, you have objectives to please almost everyone every week, it isn't bad at all. I'm especially happy when i see stuff that make players group up, like sparks of war. It's refreshing to make 20+ people groups, as IMO SWTOR needs to give reasons for people to group up, having a solo mode MMO isn't exactly good for the game i'd think. It's pretty easy honestly. I might not finish s3 because i started extremely late, but, that's on me. If you play just 4 day a week (and it doesn't have to be big sessions either) you'll have your season in the bag no sweat. It's really good to have a "battlepass" that isn't a pure hassle that forces you to play 10h/day. Since i login in to either try and find raids or MMFPs, maybe advance the pvp track a little bit too, i end up doing all kind of contents. So yeah i progress the season mostly playing normal. But i also enjoy grouping up for other stuff like sparks of war as i said previously. The only "annoying" objective would be the "do the weekly of x rep track", since more often than not, i have already maxed said reputation I'm mostly happy with what we got nowadays. If i were in charge i would not change anything, for now that is. But i think it's time for a new theme
  3. I Genuinely don't understand why people aren't cheering about that particular point. 6.0's gearing system was the worst gearing system i've ever seen in any game, in 20 years of gaming My toons that never left Flashpoint/SM OPS had the exact same gear and rewards as the ultra elite players sweating their asses off in NIM. Yes it was comfortable, but it didn't give you any objective or reason to keep moving forward. No reason to run OPS, no reason to run MM FPs. Just do hammer station like a few dozen times and you're unironically full BIS. So much for end game content. The new ability is also much cleaner IMO with some more impactful choices, the loadouts are great indeed, but the gearing needed a critical change, glad they've started to address that
  4. I think most people would agree with you there, but the fact is that on the current iteration of PTS, they removed almost everything that wasn't such fillers. One of the most common valid criticism of the new system comes from "without any DCDs, even specced tank, how can i ever dream to tank hard content?" which is absolutely understandable IMO. They kept filler and redundant attacks, only to delete or "make you choose" on everything utility related, which i think we can agree, is not ideal the way the game is setup
  5. I don't know much about clans, but as far as server goes, you might want to join Red eclipse. I had to transfer all my characters there recently, as i was on a "zombie server" (dead server, tofn), so might as well save yourself the trouble.
  6. if i remember right the lekkus are an acutal part of the head(/brain) which is actually quite sensible . Getting a lekku cut would knock the twi'lek off for good (read long lasting brain damage)
  7. i have problems looking at the robe , my eyes are attracted by the big numbers More seriously that's kind of simple yet many people would buy because of it , it fits the humble jedi theme perfectly
  8. I am a long time stalker of this thread but never posted. Now Now a friend of mine decided to come along so i take one of my lowbie char , a op to help him. We do tons of pvp and on tofn imperial pvp is not always brilliant but that's not the point of the thread. We enter the gf for athiss. Both as healer or damage. He got to be the healer as sorc , and i would dps , alright no problem. Until the very first trash pack. Nobody pull. The others 2 guys are an assassin (role : tank) and a marauder (role: dps). I tell my friend over skype that we don't need them yet to handle mobs so let's not wait and do the trash ourselves. Everything goes alright until the line of strong droids .There , the two dumb.a.sses continually break the cc i throw on a droid away from them , they try to dps down One droid but without much success. I say to my friend that we are going to dps down the droids on the left while they do thoses on the right. We kill our droids and the two guys get murdered. As they were very annyoing with the refusal to attack trash mobs first i say to my friend "hold off the heals" . barely 2 seconds later both lay wreckt and we finish off the droids, Rez them and proceed to the boss Now we wait in front of the boss. My friend is itching to jump on her but i tell him to hold on a second , the tank is supposed to. we wait... wait.... wait.... the two guys sit down. I ask them What the hell the tank is waiting for and who of the two have this role (Yay after the gear check i present you the dumb check) The Marauder says :'i'm the tank ! ' but still wait so i inspect them , and so i lost even more faith in the imp side of tofn. no implant , no earpiece , korriban greens and some orange gears with the first mods one can buy. they both engage the first boss. My friend begin to run low on force and i begin to stop dps'ing to keep them alive. To that point until the fp ended me and my friend both healed because they were being stomped on by pretty much every pull. They even votekicked my friend (the official healer) because he supposedely didn't heal enough. Well they went on the ignore list of two potential healers
  9. The first spec tree of the assassin is tanking (lots of saber combat , force lightning to restore a bit of health) The second is the one you want if dps is your thing AND you love melee The third is the one that use DoTs and the force a bit more , but still in order to dps (DoTs =Damage over Time , should you not known that )
  10. I do believe indeed that assassin is the class you are looking for my friend! double bladed saber melee , force lightning here and there , throw in a force DoT or two , there you go !
  11. yes , mercenary involve standing there not moving and nuking the sh*t out of the opponent with missiles missiles and missiles
  12. really really neat , awesome job
  13. Well some good fella which i did EV HM with won the big speeder roll but already had one : He made us /roll and traded it (to me yay ! ) so apparently it's not BoP
  14. Signed , it really can't hurt anyone , quite the contrary
  15. *vette's voice* Okay i'll buy kotor 1/2 , promise !
