Sometimes I suck at using words ha ha I meant to say TD or FT sometimes become available at the same time, then you use TD even if FT just procced (I meant to say FT proc not that it's coming off CD, that never happens!).

I mean if FT and TD comes off coold down at the same time, which can happen

My single target parses show an almost flat 5% single target DPS loss as MM if you use OS on CD, someone mentioned it doesn't matter if you OS or Snipe in that GCD. Kinda funny/wrong/mental that _ORBITAL_ strike does less damage than "peeeeew".. So, why should I not play Hybrid spec? Here's the kicker, a long time ago, in this very game... wait for it... it was announced that hybrids was a BAD! ..wait for it.. So, recently they buffed critical chance 12% to Interrogation probe.. waaait for it... on a level 4 skill in the Lethality tree, for an Engineer Level 3 skill. wat. Sorry.. had to get this out of my system

Wasn't there this long discussion about Takedown always higher priority over Followthrough = DPS gain?

Since OS ignores armor it seems to deals slightly more damage than Snipe per cast, then again Snipe crits slightly more. If I'm about to take a guess, it's worth it just because it's energy neutral..?

Carnage is one of the more complicated specs in this game, you should read this guide: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=659058 I'm certain that once you clock in a couple hours after reading that guide you'll improve a lot, I certainly did!

Yep, first hit is 3 sec after cast is finished.

Remember that they're also moving the 2pc pvp bonus to 4pc, no more 4 ticks on OS unless you want to run with 4 pvp armorings and losing out on the 2pc pve set bonus.

Wow.. talk about maximizing an absolutely pointless discussion. It's been said earlier, GS is optimized for use with KB+Mouse. The end. I saw Freespace mentioned, that game is actually better with a mouse instead of a joystick. Because it was designed that way. The internet PS. Really looking forward to GS!

This sums it up for me. I'm a main DPS, but when I tank or heal on my alts, there is _no way_ I'm using the group finder.. 75%+ of the time, it's a bad time. People talk about "responsibility" of tanks, that is not the reason. Tanks just don't WANT to queue because of the massive levels of derp you encounter with randoms.. and decent tanks (not bads) get on a lot people's friend lists so they don't need to deal with this

Devs have stated that Shroud has a 5% chance to fail, even if it grants 200% immunity to force/tech. If the did something similar to Entrench I'll be very mad.

I queued with our other raid team Sniper who's in mostly 180/168 stuff, he had just a tad above 1000 expertise. He had about 37k HP to my 31k and did good total damage, but it was in normal queue with lots of derps. I think level 66 mods gets full bolster, anything above gets a lot less. Paowee, you tease! Tell us if you know anything!!

Just did the council in story mode ( guild 16m drunken friday raid ^_^ ) and I found that it was just better to run around the edges. Running back and forth just made it easier to mess it up.

I agree that these are quality of life issues, BW could make the Sniper smoother to play. First thing I did to alleviate some frustration (at level 2 hehe) was to disable the cover bar completely and bind take cover in place to an easy to reach key (F). These two changes made a world of difference to me They should change the cover function so that you automatically take cover when you use a skill that requires cover. The interrupt and defensive CDs issue not working at all with power up skills or interrupting channeling skill like SoS is mildly annoying.

Cerulean Nova works, but better for dot specs. MM gains (very slightly) more from Serendipitous Assault (this is in my opinion/feeling), then again.. the difference is nothing you'll notice in a real fight since skill > gear
