  1. Just going off of prior experience, that "box" car mount is 100% drop on Normal Mode from Soa/Karagga. When you kill them on Hard Mode, you get a more futuristic looking car. Haven't paid attention to the Nightmare mount.
  2. If you stop dps at around 11-12%, and wait for the first emote for the next Force Choke phase, you can kill him during that. It seems that once he starts that sequence, he commits to it.
  3. Have been experimenting with Lightning for cap based warzones. An 18 second dot is quite nice for interrupts.

  5. Easy enough instance. Droid boss seems very melee unfriendly with the triple shocks and barrages. Luckily its optional. We had a 126 weapon drop with a lvl 56 41 Endurance Yellow Crystal. Rest of the loot looks to be non-set 126s.
  6. Perhaps its a gear thing? The only skill that "seems" to not crit alot is my Maul when I run deception. Currently running 4pc PvE Rakata/Columi set 33% Crit / 82% Surge Unbuffed +9% Crit talent +5% Crit buff +15% VS Crit I see alot of double VS crits Your crit as Madness should be relatively the same. It might be the illusion of seeing alot of smaller crits that you think you're critting more in that spec.
  7. Trying to get a feel for the spec killing silver star Tauntauns in Ilum. :| I keep hearing about Force Lightning being used in the rotation. Do you agree with this?
  8. For HK-47, just have 1 person breaking the clasps. The only bug I've seen that you could wipe on that fight for was when he dropped the thing but stood outside of it. For Revan, It's easy enough to survive the Force Lightning (Never seen a 70k lightning tick on a tank that fight. Have been hit for 50k as light armor dps, but nothing that should 1 shot a tank using proper cooldowns). The real bug is when he is supposed to RP and just runs around killing people while immune =\

  11. k Read the talent again - "which makes the next Force Lightning used uninterruptible and immune to pushback." Uninterruptable means you wont get hit by the 10/12 second CD 4 second lockout abilities such as Jolt. Pushback isnt the same as Knock Back. Pushback refers to having your spells, in the case of channeled spells, reducing the ability length, and in the case of casted spells, increasing the time it takes for the spell to come out. Maul is only good for procs and openers due to the force regen from stepping out of stealth. It's the same reason you dont use Shock w/o 2 stacks of induction due to the cost. Also, I Maul people consistently for 3-4k crits in PvP (My expertise is @ 410 and surge @ 85% if that gives you any idea of my gear level) Assassinate regularly does hit that hard. 5k-6k crits aren't uncommon with the right setups. Are you attacking people through shields and seeing only the damage that goes through? Our burst is on an acceptable level. Not as hard hitting as Ops/Smugglers (due to not having a true stealth opener besides Spike), but it can kill or drop people really fast in 1v1 situation. Would probably classify the class as a high pressure one. What I usually go for when my CDs are up is - Recklessness/Rakata Attack/Surge Relic/Overcharged Saber > Maul (3-4k)> VS (1.5-2k)> VS (1.5-2k)> Shock (4k)> Discharge (4.5k) > Assassinate (4k). Most people die before the Assassinate due to the constant crits. My gear setup with these buffs puts me @ 100% spell crit, 92.72% surge, 1426 Willpower. I agree, our burst could be more "burstier" since we are assassins, or in the case of the Republic, shadows.

    Somewhat makes sense in my eyes too because Champion set is technically T2 (Centurion being T1 and Battlemaster being T3). How many people do you see running around in near full Centurion pieces? :9

  14. Grouped. Sometimes it bugs out so that you're invisible to them in stealth. Enemies can see you if you get too close and stand within their peripheral vision. In the case of mobs, you'll see an icon appear over their head if they notice you. Bosses can scan you (range further out than normal body pulling range) if you stay stealthed around them too long.
  15. Crit/surge = burst. Its not uncommon to kill someone with recklessness/trinket/charge - maul - stun - vs - shock - discharge - assassinate if your physical abilities crit.

Some of my stats unbuffed: 717-898 damage range 29.13% Crit 84.19% Surge Started testing out numbers by using surge consumables/trinkets/juggling of gear and came up with the following numbers: +32.30% - 257 Surge Rating // ~7.95 S:% +34.19% - 285 Surge Rating // ~8.33 S:% +40.91% - 422 Surge Rating // ~10.31 S:% +41.88% - 450 Surge Rating // ~10.74 S:% +48.19% - 822 Surge Rating // ~17.05 S:% +49.07% - 987 Surge Rating // ~20.15 S:% +49.17% - 1015 Surge Rating // ~20.64 S:% ~85% seems to be a decent spot that doesn't seem hindered by a high DR Looked into stacking crit, but I really don't want to push the 40%-45% buffed boundary to reduce some of the effectiveness of Recklessness with an overabundance of crit. So sitting close on 30%-35% crit unbuffed was one of my goals. Next I looked into power. Came up with the following values +216 Power Rating - +49.7 Damage Bonus // ~4.34 P:D +288 Power Rating - +66.2 Damage Bonus // ~4.35 P:D +853 Power Rating - +196.2 Damage Bonus // ~4.35 P:D To me it seems like Power might be the stat to go to once you softcap Crit and Surge due to its lack of DR.
  17. We have never seen 70k ticks. 20k ticks yes, but not 70k. It sounds like you hit the enrage before 35%.
  18. Have killed this fight a couple times on hard mode with the bugged lightning. At around 42-44%, Revan will start to cast Force Storm. At around 34-36%, Revan will start his first Force Lightning When Force Storm finishes, have your tank wait around 3-4 seconds, then pop all of his cooldowns and get a pre-shield if you're running with a sorc. When he gets hit by Force Lightning, he should survive the first tick giving you enough time to interrupt. From here on out, you need to burn cooldowns to get him down to 20% for the final phase. You do have some leeway in a 2nd Force Storm, but anytime past that is risking catching a 2nd Force Lightning. Once you reach 20%, the fight is pretty much a kill. My take on the fight is that it is WAY too easy without the Force Lightning being "bugged". It could probably be working as intended
  19. This. When we first started doing this fight last week, we had the tank just 180 the boss while me (Assassin) would stay behind. Kept getting killed by chain laser hits. Decided to turn the boss so he faced to the side and had the rest of the group on the opposite side. Keep the healers/ranged towards the back under the panel since there seems to be a melee pulsing aoe. Our groups in guild usually ignore the Droids.
