I would like a definitive answer on this as well, before I go on purchasing gear and ripping mods in order to achieve 100% accuracy. On my GS @ 60, I had to purchase 5 chest pieces, along with the other pieces of gear, in order to reach 100/110% accuracy and "optimize" my stats. (had to spend around 1500 comms) That left me with 20% crit, 66% surge, and 0 alacrity, with a minor loss in power. Not to mention the credits involved ripping mods. Also, the 186 MODS are inferior to the 180 MODS. 186=31.50 180=32.29. The amount of crit due to the increased Mainstat was minimal. A simple answer of "working as intended", "we are looking into this issue", or "yes, this is a bug" would be GREATLY appreciated.

not trying to hijack, but MM/SS, Sniper/GS, respectively, now only require cover for 4 abilities. But, cover still provides defensive benefits, as well as a slight boost to energy regen. Really enjoying the new Tactics tree in VG. Ok, back to how pure DPS classes are garbage.

Most items that are part of a series or mission are put in a specific tab...I think it's called, wait...I can't see it, since I'm not in game, but i'll guess. it called, mission items. and I'm sure, o mighty one, you've never camped mobs, on a planet with no cargo hold, with 23 separate instances full of people fighting over those mobs, and filled your inventory and needed a companion to sell junk items. again, thank you for your valuable input.

Had a million credits when I dinged 60. between training and having to rip mods to get 100% accuracy (which destroyed my surge rating), I am down to 69,100 credits... sadly, true story

Just spent 1600+ comms once I hit 60 to get 100% accuracy. Dropped my surge to 62%, crit to 20%, and lost a bit of power. btw, old 180 mods are better than new basic 186 mods in terms of power/crit. Old 180 mods = 32.29 while new 186 mods = 31.50. itemizations is borked, big time, or their calculators are broken.

After looting my 2nd Data Packet from the named Grophets on Rishi, I sent my companion to sell my trash items I had acquired from hours of camping the afore mentioned mobs. Immediately after, I opened my inventory and to my horror I found both my Data Packets I looted, 1 and 3, were absent from my inventory. I immediately attempted to call him back, to no avail, and could not. I attempted to go to a vendor and buy them back, to no avail. The Data Packets are gone from my inventory, but I do have all 4 achievements from killing those mobs. I submitted a ticket requesting those items be returned to me. Please make those items quest items or non-sellable.

went 42-3 (2 losses to Pub teams(arenas), 1 loss to Imp team) last weekend, solo Q. Harbinger. Pre 1.2, I prolly lost a TOTAL of 5 times...PvE server tho, so not much to brag about (MZL)

LOL, me too! While leveling my 'slinger w/ my wife, the moment I dinged 16, I flew back to the fleet to by 2 E-500's from the Coruscant vendor, so I would match!! My 'slinger needs to get his hands on some (EDIT: matching) revolvers!

Would it not be SS - TS - AS (2.0 sec) - TS - QD - TS - AA ? Been playing my sniper a bit more, and leveling a GS casually. Trying to be as informed on these classes, as I am my VG, not nitpicking.

I believe this to be true as well. 69/66/58 = 193 no EXP penalty 69/63/63 = 195 not sure, if EXP penalty (need mods/enh to verify) anything greater than 195 = EXP penalty.

here's what I believe: Conq = 65. 65x3=195 Therefore, any combination (whether it be weapon or armor) cannot exceed a combined total of 195 or it will effect your EXP. So, MH/OH combination of 69/66/58 (193) will yield 2018 expertise...Although, I cannot verify 69/63/63 (195) will yield the same, as I n00bishly overwrote all my 63 mods/enhancements w/ Conq gear, as it was slightly better. I can testify 69/66/58 > Conq MH/OH on my VG, in terms of DPS/DMG. If I can get my hands on some 63's, I will experiment more. Currently, 69/66/58 seems BiS for PvE gear in a bolstered PvP environment. Purples, of course...No self-respecting l33t gamers uses blues at end-game

I don't think he's trolling, sadly. I play on the Harbinger and the PvP is both laughable(Pub) and hair-pullingly frustrating(Imp). PvP'd all weekend long, about 40-50 matches, and lost ONCE to an Imp team, and twice to Pub (both arenas). In less than 25% of those matches, Pubs had a FULL premade. Mostly, premades were made up of 2 or 3-man groups, rest pugs. I faced more Imp premades, than on the side of Pub premades, mostly Sith Division X. In all of these matches, about 5 were close...F I V E. Why? Absolutely 0 teamwork on the side of the Imps. For example, in AH, the afore mentioned guild sat outside the cube room pulling individuals out, killing them, and making no effort to sneak a node, or advance on the room...After the match, they had the 3 highest damaging players, but lost by 700+. Next, NC...As I guarded west, I watched wave after wave of Imps continually send ALL players south...I walked over to East, solo capped, and defended the entire match...As they never sent more than 2 at a time to reclaim the node nearest their base. I can't say for sure, but what I see is a bunch of stat-whoring n00bs, that lack organization, teamwork, or any sort of comprehension of strategy, whatsoever. Premade or full pug... When on the Pub side, I see "INC" calls, teamwork, and selflessness of guarding nodes. TL;DR : Imps play for stats, Pubs play for wins on the Garbinger. This is coming from experience on both sides (5 50+ VR toons...3 60+, 2 of those Imp) Playing Imp side is maddening...like herding cats.

You're just too stubborn to understand constructive criticism, honesty, and "tough love". I get it, I do... If people would take more than 1 minute to post, "I suck, HELP", and actually go beyond page 1 of the class forums, you would see there is pages upon pages of helpful, factual information. Oh, and there's a mirror class forum (I play VG, not PT) but much good info can be found in here. I've posted rotations, parses, etc. etc. And again, figure it out for yourself...How's that info you got from noxxic working out for ya? 2700 DPS...about 300 DPS behind a SM Hero (me) and about 600 behind the top performers w/ 72MH. My advice was much more sound than anything you have posted, so far. Well said, all of it...

No elitism here, just find it pretty sad that people want everything handed to them without putting in any effort. Or, people, like you, posting stuff that makes little sense or just isn't true. (see above) If people came in here asking real questions, like "here's my parse, where can I improve" or "I'm having issues maximizing my DPS" I'd be more than willing to assist. Instead, I read a lot of misinformation, i.e. 2700 DPS, and most people never take the time to help themselves. PvE is static, and pretty easy with some practice and a good group. That's where you get the "ridicule". Not elitism...I just put the time in to learn and understand the class.
