  1. I've also decided to canx my sub. Have always had an active sub, beta tester, etc. I share KBN's opinion on the direction and demise of SWTOR.
  2. I'm a pretty HC player, wife is super casual player. She just started playing again, due to her being able to enjoy the game solo. (I have all 8 classes 65, 220 gear, all datacrons, etc.) The change makes the game more fun for me, challenging. I could sleep walk, button mash my way through all the Heroics on all 8 of my 65's, before the change. For my wife, the casual gamer, this RUINS her enjoyment. She cannot enjoy the solo aspect of it, and now I'm going to lose my +2 for HM FP's. It's too harsh of a nerf. 10-20% nerf would have been better, if required at all.
  3. Bioware Moto? I want in!! I can ride 250cc or 450cc class. And btw, nerfing pyro, sounds like Supercross in Atlanta this weekend, and last. I've see better fireworks at a redneck BBQ. Or, you might have meant motto. To which I would say, yeah...I'm not surprised.
  4. Sonic Rebounder works. Tested and confirmed. (On VG and in Op w/ 3 PT's) And again, max melee range will avoid Lurkerlings "melee attack". Also, tested and confirmed on my Shadow, Guardian, Operative, and VG. UL is a very "static" fight, with the only RNG really being rock falling locations. If you can coordinate your team properly, it really is pretty simple.
  5. I play 4 melee toons, main being a Tactics VG. I take NO extra damage on any of my mDPS toons, because I stay at MAX melee range. That is the area in which your melee abilities on your toolbar light up...NOT 4m on your tgt, not up the lurkerlings arse, and I took 605 DTPS (3378 DPS with 3pc, 186 relics, implants, and ONLY 82 crit , I need better luck on loot rolls!! ) and didn't miss a SS on rotation. Also, ran ToS on my GS where I took 893 DTPS (3571 DPS) staying at range, with AOE heals. Well played DPS is well played DPS.
  6. The level of incompetence and QA displayed by the Dev team in SWTOR is maddening. After all this mess they have created with increased lag, Ops exploits, Ops bugs, slot machine debacle, etc., wouldn't it be more prudent to FULLY QA a product before vomiting it out on the market? I truly enjoy this game, but the quality level of the product is in sharp decline.
  7. Well said. The "progression" guild I am in currently, I am the only DPS that can constantly >3k DPS on every boss in ToS, and we can pretty much 1 shot Sparky and Mal on HM, regularly. (Altho, I do 4.5k on Sparky and 4.2k on Mal, which helps.) And these are pretty good players. Not great, but good. The DPS check is just too great in some encounters in SM.
  8. Having beat UL 7 times this week, SM not HM (yet!!), it is indeed possible. Also, 1 shot UL in 3 separate groups, 2 pugs. That being said, there are "workarounds". The most successful group had 3 PT's (I was Merc DPS 3k DPS). OT PT had DPS gear (1.8k), so that was awesome. And the other DPS PT did 2.9k, as well as a Assy that also did 2.9k. (other DPS not in Parsec, but seemed to do well) 1 heals we had in Parsec did 5.1k HPS 3.7k EHPS. With the good DPS we had, the Adds were dealt with in plenty of time to ALL stack behind the same rock, and the PT's handled the buggy cross. In all of the successful groups I've ran, DPS killing adds quickly is the most important, as there are ways to mitigate a failed cross(see 3 PT's), and reduces the strain on healers...Also, having the rDPS and mDPS stack, not run around like they are lost or on fire, helps tremendously, too. But, as I said in another post, good luck getting average and below players to execute, as well as maintain high DPS/HPS.
  9. I agree with both posts here. My problems is the DPS requirements. While I'm not calling anyone a liar here, I will say 3.5k-4.5k is extremely good. Most people CANNOT produce that type of DPS. (see below) I am in full 192 Optimized, 6pc set bonus, 198(comms) Ear, 186(crafted) relics, and on a good fight I have parsed 3.4k, and last night 3.5k as a Sabo GS. I'm not the best, but, in the 8 groups I've ran this week, I had been the #1 DPS on all my toons, except my Shadow***. I am highly competent, have excellent foresight (getting behind rocks, NEVER missing my assigned side on cross, and anticipating burst phases for adds), and parse 4600+ on dummy. Unless your in 198 optimized gear, I believe 4.5k is far fetched, especially with the downtime behind rocks. I lose little DPS after rocks, as I can continue my rotation as Sabo while moving to cross. I've been in 3 groups this week that one shot UL. But, that was with 3+ DPS pushing 3k, and the OT that HAD DPS gear!! Last night, after what seemed like 100 pulls, we managed to squeak out a UL kill with the following DPS: GS(me)-3563, Commando-2827, GS(SS)-2740, Sent-1926, MT-1461, OT-1273 (he stayed tank stance for specific reason), plus 2 heals combined for 200DPS. That is 13990 DPS, almost a 14k DPS requirement. That is very high, for an average player, IMO. Had a guy call me out on the fleet, as I was LFG and advertising my DPS. He too told me him and his guild parse 3.5-4.5k, anything less and you would get booted. I LOL'd because I know I'm and above average player, and wound up in an Op with this guy...After about 10 pulls, we made it mandatory to be in Parsec, where I parsed 3.3k and he did an amazing 2.3k. The average player, even the slightly above average player, cannot do that type of DPS, and will need to be carried (like the Sentinel in our group last night) in order to effectively down the adds in time to be DPS'n UL during the cross. ***Shadow was 2.8k DPS, 2nd on parse. He is my lowest parsing toon. He was in one of the 3 groups I ran that one shot UL.
  10. Can confirm. As a MM sniper since day 1, literally. In 192's (186 Ear, Implantx2, 198 OH) 2-piece set bonus, was pulling 3.9k as MM/SS. Switched to Sabo on GS, parsed 4400 <10 minutes. Ravangers Op last night 4100 on Sparky, 3600 on Bulo (some poor positioning on my part, tbh), 3k MB, 2800 Cortanni as Sabo. I was pretty stubborn, liking MM/SS spec so much to not learn Sabo/Engi. My bad: http://i.imgur.com/oPoHbCA.png No adrenal used on that parse.
  11. you know if you double tap the ability, it activates on the mob you have targeted!!! lazy dog, new tip.
  12. Question about opener: would you not want to use Cell Burst prior to your first HiB to gain the extra charge for CB? (assumed 4 stack CB at start) i.e. AP > Gut > (relic, BF) > CB > HiB > SS > HiB > TS > (Reserve PC) > TS > TS > HiB > SS > AP > TS > HiB (not forgetting SC spam) Cipactli @ The Harbinger
  13. Logging into MZL (Master Zhar Lestin) hoping to see the Crimson Mandalorian Armor from beta. I did not Still waiting on that armor in game!! Hint, hint.
  14. My thoughts exactly!! Min/Maxing the same 2 FP's/OPs is not what I consider content, or even enjoyable, and I'm a OCD min/max'r. Having the stats on gear not match up (VG for example 4 pieces of alacrity, 3 accuracy, and boatloads of crit) makes little to no sense, and is quite frustrating. I would rather the OPs/FPs be overwhelmingly hard, rather than grind gear that was itemized by a dolt. Maybe my idea of content is the problem...
  15. Overall POOR design. After several hours of camping, I got all 3 [Data Packet]s. Had my companion sell my junk items, those afore mentioned [Data Packet]s were considered junk, and got sold. Submitted a ticket, was told there is nothing they can do about it, even though I can provide screenshots of each [Data Packet]. Logged out, lost my Achievements. With so much potential this patch has, it is highly overshadowed by bugs, ridiculous datacron bugs (items being "trash"), itemization, and so much more little sh*t, it's maddening. Is there a QA team?
  16. I am highly disappointed with the itemization, as well as, the comms drops in 3.0. Lvl 60 Bonus Bosses drop basic comms???!!! Completing 3 lvl 55 FP's completes the lvl 60 [Weekly]. 4 pieces of alacrity gear on VG DPS, only 3 accuracy. anything 55 dropping ultimate comms. WB on Yavin kills not counting (3 kills, 0 updates) 2 HM 60 FP's (REALLY??!!) and much, much more. The itemization is garbage, and the devs really dropped the ball on rewarding new, more difficult content. While I really enjoy the new content, "skill trees", and abilities, the lack of foresight, imagination, and common sense of itemization and lvl 60 comms rewards really takes the wind out of my sails. I truly hope this can be fixed in an upcoming patch, but I'm pretty sure it won't. Give me incentive to play and content, and I will keep giving you my money!! Or, give me this nonsense, which is itemization and terrible comms rewards, and i'll be FTP in no time
  17. I'll move forward in a week... But, seriously, how hard can it be to just answer this question? It still doesn't make sense the whole "accuracy will be worth more per point" statement. Just a simple answer, all we need. Thanx!!
  18. Still waiting to gear my toons while I await an answer on this. spent 300k and 1400 comms on my GS to hit 100%, which left him at 20% crit 62% surge. all we need is a simple answer. 1. Working as intended or 2. This will be corrected in a future patch
  19. ya'll talking training dummy or practical application? I've killed WB , run 4 FP's and 1 Op, and I'm loving new Tactics/AP. I had a very skilled tank ask me if I was taunting...I had to explain AP>gut>CC>HiB>SS>HiB with SCX2 per CD is nasty initial burst... sustained, I have yet to test., but, I'm digging new initial burst and rotation in PvE and PvP!!!
