  1. I always do class and planet arc quests. No other ones. I have always been ahead of the curve when moving on to the next planets. I do also pick up all the planetary heroics, and knock those out if I want to get a bit more of an XP cushion. I am currently 11 levels above my current planet (Imp side, heading to belsavis)
  2. I didn't have to pay for my NS stronghold, other than the initial unlock fee. All the rooms unlocked for free. All the stuff transferred with me, so didn't have to touch my old stronghold.
  3. yeah but unless they are willing to change the entire galaxy (AKA: the Cataclysm Effect) the that is just the say it will be outside of the specific instances.
  4. When I came back I went and did all the stories I hadn't done yet, which was Revan, Ziost, Oricon, then KoTFE. On my alts I skipped Ziost and Oricon after I had done them both on Imp/Pub side, and went from Revan directly to KOTFE. Now I am making new characters and playing the entire story from level 1, and I find it quite refreshing.
  5. I didn't even get anything with Vette. It is as if my SW didn't even marry her (which he did). She didn't even give me a kiss. I'll just have to put that shock collar back on I guess.
  6. 9/10 Only reason I don't give 10/10 is because I didn't realize I could
  7. Yeah I had bitraider turned off, turned it back on to see if it would help, ended up just screwing up everything, so I decided to blow it all away.
  8. I did finally get the game to patch. I had to completely uninstall, then re-install it to do it tho.
  9. So get the quest. Untrack the quest. Continue as normal.
  10. I have been legendary for a couple months now.. log in today and am now 7/8. Lots the status on my conselor.
  11. The rule is the same in any game... adds > boss don't stand in the **** on the ground...
  12. If you ever want to get Legendary, you will need to finish the class quests. But once you get your ship, you don't have to, but as mentioned otherwise, it if the only way to unlock companions pre-KOTFE.
  13. Well, considering I do currently have an active WoW account (and have for 9 of the last 11 years), this really used to be the case. The current WoW expansion has a lot LESS repeatable content at the highest level. Once completed, there is no reason to keep doing it over and over. WoW USED to have a lot more repeatable content at max level, and they have been dumbing it down and reducing the amount for a long time. Heck they didn't even add in daily quests until they opened up the last section, and that was only useful for about a month. Does WoW have a lot of content in general? Of course. It also has nearly 11 years of content in it, compared to what, 4 years of content than SWTOR has? With the advent of the WoW Token, the game has turned into a "sub for a month or 2, do all content, leave, come back 3 months later when they add more". I used to play WoW every day, for at least a couple hours. Do dailies, run dungeons, farm old content for mounts and pets... but after a while, that simply becomes no longer fun or entertaining, which for me, is why I only log in for maybe 3 hours a week now (mostly to raid with my guild), whereas I play SWTOR for at least an hour or 2 most days.
  14. And full disclosure, I am also currently an active subscriber to WoW. I log in for a few minutes every few days to do my garrison stuff on my chars, and a few hours once a week for raid, and thats it. I much much much prefer how SWTOR does it.
  15. I much prefer the current method of content release that SWTOR has. While it is not a lot of content, it is steady. I find it quite enjoyable, and even my wife resubbed to play the game now, and is enjoying it. Look at WoW currently. No new content AT ALL in the last 6 months, and none for the next 6 months. 12 months of no new content. Doesn't make SWTOR model look to bad does it?
  16. Poor Lana! This makes me want to romance Theron or Koth on my FTrooper, just so I can break their little hearts... lol
  17. Yup. I figured that one out when I saw the red conduit going back down to the lower platform... so I followed it and fount the red console, and BOOM the forcefield came down.
  18. 1. Leave any instance you are in. Must be in "open world". 2. Open quest log, go to chapter quest. 3. Click the "reset" button at the bottom. The best way to tell if it is bugging, is in Jorgan is naked. If he is, do the above steps. If he is not, play as normal. Logging out makes no difference. I have done it this way on 3 different characters now.
