  1. Considering the token can only be one of four things... Ya, I can easily see people seeing the same item several times in a row.
  2. I'll admit I'm not reading 70+ pages/arguments on the topic. I think the answer is painfully obvious, and that answer... is Vader absolutely destroying Revan.
  3. I think the biggest issue/concern is the character names and legacy names. Personally, I would flat out quit if my server was merged with another (not likely since it's still a high pop server at prime time) and for whatever reason someone with my name on another server was chosen as the person who keeps the name.
  4. I could accept that if not for the fact that every single robe looks just fine when you put on a helmet large enough to force the hood down. The lowered hood simply disappears as it should, it's not a wad of dangling cloth (Something I'm pretty sure none of us want). The code is already in the game to raise or lower the hood, it simply needs to be made into a toggle.
  5. If you have 15 friends, go run it in 16 man mode. It's what we do when we can (we have exactly 16 players in our guild). If we miss someone on a given raid night, we're free to hit the 8 man version instead and still have fun with our guildies. Keeping the loot the same means there's no punishment for being a raider in a smaller guild.
  6. Definitely seems like a rookie mistake to not include /roll in an MMO. We use Guild Council for determining loot, but when all things are equal, we'd much rather let the game decide with a simple /roll. You've got a RNG in the game already, please give us access to it with a command.
  7. I don't care one way or another if the Sentinels get a knock back, but out of curiousity, how would a knock back help you in such a situation anyway? Leap to target, knock them... away?
  8. WoW was ludicrously expensive in comparison to this game. As you're leveling, sure, you can at times barely afford your current spells, but once you hit 50 and start doing your dailies, credits fall from the sky. Easily 200k+ credits a day just doing your Ilum PvE and Belsavis dailies. 9.5 million and rising because I enjoy doing dailies and have nothing left to spend credits on
  9. My issue with it is the same as most of my issues with many of things you do Bioware. You make the choice for me. I dislike it. I liked 1.1.1 much better. Heck, I liked 1.1.0 better. So my question to you is this... Why not, instead of forcing one and only one new format on us, give us all of them as options. There was nothing wrong in 1.1.1, I could see and tell everything I needed to see. This "Everything is blacked out during GCD" is little more than an annoyance. I'm glad some people like it and I don't want them to lose the option to keep using it... But I would like the option to keep using the version I liked as well. Also I weep for anybody prone to epileptic seizures... Suggestions (for both this and improving the PTR) Suggestion One: Just because it deserves repeating, stop forcing things on us, give us options! Players love options! Let them pick what they want (cough hi-res graphics, UI, etc. etc. All things where BIOWARE made the choice for the PLAYER) Suggestion Two: I'm busy running heroics/raiding/playing with my friends, I don't have the time to level up a duplicate character on the PTR and get him in the same gear as my current toon and then see how I feel about things. Every major PTR patch should be followed with the option/ability to copy over the current and/or recent version of at least one if not multiple characters we actually play. Suggestion Three: The bright flashiness REALLY needs to go first and foremost. -If I'm in range and the ability can be used, it should be the normal button appearance. -If I'm out of range, lack the resources, and/or simply can't use that ability right now (but not due to the GCD) then the ability should be darkened out about as heavily as you have everything darken out with the current UI implementation. -If the only reason I can't use an ability is because it is on cooldown then give players the option to either have the scrolling down blackness (similar to 1.1.1) and/or a heavily darkened box with a yellow number ticking down until it's off cooldown. -If the only thing preventing me from using an ability is the GCD, then a very light darkening (greying?) out would be acceptable. -Find and pay an epileptic person to sit down and play with the UI before you push it to the masses. Suggestion Four: API... Yes, addons. Players care about the game Bioware, we can actually help you with this. We want to make it look better and many of us can and would do so... if you give us the option. Blizzard's base UI sucks, but they don't have to worry about it because there are so many UI customization addons out there that anyone can find something that makes them perfectly happy... Less work for Blizzard and every customer is happy... Hint.. hint...
  10. If you want a Guardian guide, trust me when I say visit the Sith Warrior forum. They've two excellent guides on tanking as a Juggernaut/Gaurdian. Much like in the game, the Empire has more people, so it's got more great minds and thus more guides which have warrented stickies by Bioware.
  11. No to cross server, but if it was limited to just your server, I'd certainly support it. Most people want to just get in a queue for a dungeon and then continue going out into the world, doing their dailies, questing, pvping, etc. etc. I see no downside to allowing them to do that rather than sit on the fleet spamming general for a group.
  12. Check your stats before and after using the rakata stim, it has been nerfed but the tooltip has not been updated as of yet.
  13. I've been experiencing this bug at least once a day for the past week, if that's all it takes to fix it, I'm going to give you a big hug.
  14. Which is worthless if you're in a min/max raiding guild. The Rakata stuff should have been nerfed to Exotech levels, not Energized levels. The profession is effectively garbage now for a min/maxer.
  15. It's not better than anything else right now if you're looking for raw stats as you can get better stats using the BoEs made by Biochem. You're better off trying for crits on the othe professions rakata made gear and getting far more stats that way.
  16. That's slightly more than 2 Ilum dailies, aka barely even a dent in the pocket book. Fair enough, but nobody can complain about credits when the means exist to make an absurd amount of credits in ~30 mins. Seriously, I do all my Ilum dailies (except the heroic) in 30 mins, 35 mins if the shields don't drop for me in the Jedi Temple entrance. That's on my tank with subpar dps abilities.
  17. I agree that being nerfed to the second best quality seems a tad extreme, best you can do is play on the PTR and submit that feeling as I have already done. If Rakata stims/adrenals have to be the second best then the other professions need to start providing better than Rakata, BoE items... Where's my BoE synthweaving bracers? My BoE cybertech grenades? My BoE artifice relics? The stims/adrenals should be of the best quality, otherwise they're absolutely worthless for min/maxers who will just buy/craft the superior stim/adrenal.
  18. Jedi believe in redemption so I can understand my JK keeping around his companion of questionable loyalty, but ya, my SW just makes zero sense for not taking care of his problem. Haven't played a Bounty Hunter so can't comment on that one yet.
  19. So we agree it made as much sense as the original poster? Seriously, nerf the medkits to half their current power. NOBODY would be Biochem then.
  20. 1490 is a statistically insignificant number. Sorry, it really is.
  21. Uhh no, with the upcoming nerf to Biochem's adrenals and stims, Biochem will no longer offer a stat bonus over players who have chosen other crafting professions. All Biochem will do is save money in the long run by not having to replace stims/adrenals/healthkits.
  22. I feel your pain, often times the server goes down right as I get on in the morning for a quick few minutes before work. That being said, downtime is going to be a problem for someone. They can't have it occur in such a manner that everyone is perfectly happy. Even if they were to localize it to each timezone, SOMEONE would still be negatively impacted by downtime. You pay for access to the servers when they're available, of course you're not going to get credit for downtime. Limiting downtime is foolish, if an emergency patch needs to happen, it needs to happen. Again, if an emergency patch needs to happen, it doesn't matter what time of day it is. Staggering just pisses off everyone when it's their turn to be "crapped" on instead of having the majority not notice the downtime and be perfectly happy. For an MMO that isn't even yet two months old, the amount of downtime has hardly been unacceptable, I can only assume this is your first MMO you've played at launch if you truly find it unacceptable.
  23. Dual Spec yes, dual AC no. Changing the AC is just a huge, often vast change for your character. My Sentinel is NOTHING like my Guardian. At all. Different armor types, different weapons, etc. etc. They are two seperate classes. It's getting a tad expensive to switch from Tank Spec to DPS spec though. I'll gladly pay a couple million credits to unlock dual spec but the current situation of no dual spec is not acceptable.
  24. I have biochem on my main and my primary alt for the obvious reasons of it's currently the best choice imo. On my other alts, I have other professions because I accept that this is an MMO and what's powerful today can become a limp noodle tomorrow if the designers so decide.
  25. I like any planet where I can land on the actual planet. The space stations just take up too much time and need to be removed
