  1. Stun breakers (like consular's resolute) should fill your resolve bar and your resolve should stay up longer. And fix the jumping over the wall between sides and mid in Civil War.

    Warzones by lvl

Bolster makes every character as if they were level 49. The only level differences are what abilities you know. So level bracketing is not needed. But adding it would increase queue times. The reason queues are smaller in WoW is because they use cross server warzones that increase the pool of people playing. Swtor does not (currently) have this feature, so they have far fewer players in queue.
  3. Until we get cross server warzones, I'd rather have 10's against 49's then have no warzone queues.
  4. Putting combat logs into the game is a no brainer. It comes down to rights. I have a right to play with my friends. I have a right to leave a group I do not like. I have a right to choose whom I play with. You have all those rights too. I enjoy min / maxing. I enjoy working hard, doing the research, doing the planning and performing at the highest potential. I enjoy playing with other people who also enjoy performing at their highest potential. I have a guild that does just that. You enjoy playing the game for fun. You don't want to do the math, research, etc. That's fine. Nothing I want to do with meters stops you doing what you want to do without them. We just don't need to raid (op) together. You go find a group of likeminded people to raid with, just like I did. Not adding a legitimate real-time measurement tool into the game stops me from playing the game how I want to. But adding one doesn't stop yours.
  5. If this game was f2p (or p2w as I would call it) I would not be playing. I expect a premium service for a premium price. And 15 seriously isn't a significant price. It it by far my smallest bill.
  6. Not being able to invite from the guild pane, having to reinvite after each warzone.
  7. Lightsabers with stripes, lightsabers that change colors, lightsabers that flash. Yep, that's all I've got.
  8. Anyone got patch notes? I'm assuming they will be small.
  9. Sage / Sorc is OP in terms of utility (30 yrd range stun, 30 yard range instant cc, 30 yard range interrupt, force speed, bubble, knockback and pull) Scoundrel is UP. In dps: melee with no gap closer, melee stun, melee stun that requires stealth, melee aoe cc. For heals: the ui is terrible at managing buffs, making it impossible to reliably roll hots.
  10. They just announced that SWTOR has 1.7 million subscribers as of a few days ago. Two things, 1. This number is lower than initial game sales (there was dropoff) 2. They are saying this is where the sub numbers have "stabilized". So new people are coming to the game with new retail sales. But people are also leaving offsetting those sales. I don't think we can start shouting "the sky is falling" but at least in month 2 we aren't seeing any real growth. That being said, no mmo has even seen stabilization of this kind since that other mmo. At the very least, I don't think we should ignore things the game is lacking that the community wants because we think we have enough subscribing players.
  11. +1 This change is sorely needed!
  12. Sorry I don't know. But I'm thrilled someone in this cesspit forum actually understands there is a difference. You're curiosity has lifted my faith in the swtor community.
  13. It is an MMORPG. The second M is for multiplayer, get your own premade.
  14. This is a great idea. I'm not sure what balance issue lead to there being a cooldown.
  15. I was also pretty surprised that this option isn't available ingame. Does anyone know if there is a .ini setting for it?
  16. One more vote for fixing the tab targeting system. These fixes sound pretty good.
  17. So maybe we want the queue to not match people on ignore lists?
  18. So it sounds like you want a way to know that when you click to enter a warzone it is a new warzone. Or do I miss-understand?
  19. To those who want a debuff, why do you want one? I understand you want to punish people who leave early. Would you rather they stayed? Do you just want a person with a bad attitude to not be in warzones? Do you think this will make your team more likely to win? I'm just curious what problem you think a debuff will solve. I expect people have different reasons, what's yours? UPDATE --------- So far we have: 3 votes for : "Don't want to join a losing warzone after sitting in the queue" 2 votes for: "Don't want "quitters" in warzones to begin with" 1 vote for: "Don't want people using warzones as free fleet pass with no cooldown."
  20. I require actual counter-arguments. Just stating opinion doesn't make it fact. Or put colloquially "U Mad Bro?"
  21. LOL! Don't confuse a software bug with Bioware supporting your idea.
  22. Right, which leaves "quitter" attitudes in warzones instead of having them leave. Just think of their incentives. They want to win, they probably also want valor, commendations. Knowing there is a debuff are they going to leave which guarantees they cannot win for 30-60 minutes. They're going to stay, and slack off, try to win fast so they can move on to the next one. Therefore, more "quitter" attitudes will be in warzones.
  23. There is a different issue here of faction balance, that is what is causing you to sit in queue. There are many ways to fix faction balance, if one of those was implemented that would fix your core issue of queues that are too long.
  24. Fine, then that person leaves and you get the next guy, and the next guy, and the next guy, until the queue gets to someone who will stay, which we all agreed is the person we want in the warzone to begin with. Whether we have a debuff or not will not change the number of "quitters" who are pvping. It will make sure the quitters are in queue more and in warzones less.
