  1. Or you can just remove expertise and add skill caps and PvP can be about skill instead of gear.
  2. Dear BW. Please fire your existing PvP team and instead hire Aneu. Aneu, I will play any game you ever create. /signed
  3. Actually, bad idea #1 was implementing Ilum in the first place.
  4. I'm rank 41 valor with 2 champion implants, nothing else.
  5. Remove expertise and I would be okay with this. Otherwise, it isn't at all about skill and instead about who has the most expertise.
  6. I don't know if it's intended, but I lose my targets all the time when stunned. IMO, targeting in this game is horrible -- both with know who I have selected via tab targeting, clicking my targets, and losing targets.
  7. Yeah, sure. Let me switch my Scoundrel AC for anything else (preferably a sorcerer) -- since it will be worthless after the nerf.
  8. Vanilla WoW world PvP > 10-49 SWTOR PvP > non-resilience WoW PvP (leveling and pre-arena BG's) > the rest of WoW PvP > SWTOR PvP* *SWTOR PvP does not include Ilum. Ilum was not good enough to even make the list.
  9. Of course they don't play it. If the CEO of EA played it, everyone would lose their job.
  10. I just rerolled Empire. I rolled Republic to be the underdog. After hitting 50 and getting completely futtbucked in Ilum and 90% of all WZ's (due to Empire being better geared from Ilum) I said **** it. I'm not going to sit around in misery while BW does absolutely nothing about it. The faction imbalance is extremely easy to fix. Implement diminishing returns for the one greater in force and implement increasing returns for the underdog. Instead, we have a system that rewards the largest faction by giving them increased percentages of valor per kill and easy to complete dailies/weeklies. Meanwhile, it is near impossible to complete dailies/weeklies for the underdog. That combined with the garbage stat Expertise makes it a huge feat to win WZ's and complete their respective dailies. Why? Because those without expertise are non-competitive. Seriously BW. Why the hell have you not fired half of your dev team? It's clear they are completely incompetent with regard to PvP. Anyways, I have my 50 Scoundrel sitting in the fleet yearning to be played. When the PvP system is finally fixed I'll switch back. Well, that's a lie. If they nerf my scoundrel to the ground after 1.1.1 I may just never look back with Empire.
  11. They're killing Operatives and Scoundrels because the Sorcerers and Sages were QQing about consumable stack. Because there are more Sorcerers in the game than there are Republic Players, Operatives and Scoundrels must go.
  12. Haven't had this problem. I rebound mine to F1-F12. The only problem I have is when I am holding down the alt key for a different skill. Other than that, it's great.
  13. I agree 100% with OP. This nerf will be the end of Op/Scoundrel and the beginning of an era of overpowered BH/Troopers and Sage/Sorcerers. That, in addition to the huge failures in Ilum and complete lack of world PvP, will ruin the game completely. Perhaps my unsub from this game will be the end of my MMO play altogether, as nothing on the horizon looks very good.
  14. Which doesn't happen anymore. This was fixed in the last patch by removing consumable stacking.
  15. As an economics major, I approve this post.
  16. Actually, I would argue that we are not overpowered. It appeared that we were overpowered prior to the last patch due to consumable stacking + the ability to ambush level 20's while wearing full battlemaster. Since then, life has changed quite dramatically for us. We still function in a 1v1 environment or against fresh 50's or against people that are nearly dead. However, we do not see 3 second kills like we used to. Unfortunately, you, the devs, and most people on forums are equating consumable stacking with our class. It's been less than a week. It's almost as if this patch was designed in order to combat us if we were stacking consumables. If that was the case, perhaps it would be justified. But it's not. The nerf being implemented is not only not needed, but it is class killing. We already have some of the worst sustained damage in the game. This added on top of it will destroy our burst damage, which is the only thing we have going for us. In short: I suppose you're right. I'll have to unsub until this, along with many issues are fixed. Not only is world pvp non existent, Ilum completely ****ed, faction imbalance tremendous due to an obvious developer bias, and tons of bugs and glitches -- now my class, which is not OP, is going to be nerfed from the middle of the pack down to the bottom of the pack.
  17. The nerfs to the Scoundrel/Operative in 1.11 are absolutely ridiculous. 50 brackets were implemented less than a week ago, along with a fix to the stacking of buffs and consumables. In that time, it is CLEAR that Operative/Scoundrel is NOT the overpowered class. By implementing these nerfs, you will kill this AC -- at least when it comes to dealing damage. I do not want to reroll. I guess my only option is to unsub. If you agree, I recommend you make your own threads. Get the word out before it's too late.
