  1. This is basically the same rotation as I am using, but I like to think of it as blocks of 4. I also tend to pair FR with FB but that does not really matter as both FB and BB cost 0. following on from opener BW-SP-SP-FS BW-SP-BB-VS BW-SP-SP-FS BW-SP-BB-FS 21s rotation with 18s of VS uptime (and there is always a DoT present for SP) I used to do an alternating rotation of 2x3 blocks BW-SP-SP-FS BW-SP-BB-FS BW-SP-SP-VS BW-SP-BB-FS BW-SP-SP-FS BW-SP-BB-VS it has the same amount of SP and BB as well as full uptime on VS but it is hard energy wise I was almost never able to parse it without depleting Energy.
  2. Jedi Consular Sage Seer Master Speed now places a Hindered effect on enemies around the Sage when Force Speed is activated. Amnesty now allows Force Potency to finish the cooldown of Mental Alacrity, in addition to its other effects. Umm...okay. Like these are 100% good changes but still...I just don't...what...why....
  3. I really don't get the spec in the OP. It gains virtually no movement advantage over full Balance and looses out on a fair bit of damage.

  6. There is no quick answer to that and those numbers are meaningless without context. One one clear of pre nerf NM Draxxus I was pushing 4k EHPS, on another it was in the low 2K. And the latter was definitely better executed. Basically push your healing in the monster phase, make sure you know your assignment and avoid unnecessary damage. After monster phase it becomes a breeze to heal, as long as nobody stands in stupid.
  7. Nice rant but considering we know nothing about the circumstances kinda pointless. The fact that the others agreed to kick you would lead me to believe the fault may have been yours, but ultimately they may have also been clueless. Do you feel you did all you were supposed to do, in refreshing Dark Ward, Discharge and keeping Shadow Protection up?
  8. I personally like the numbers, I use them to prevent overhealing as much as possible, by estimating my heals. For the same reason I actually prefer the old way of xxxx/xxxx rather than the percentage. But it makes no substantial difference. Bar goes down, heal. Also there is nothing quite: "Holy **** I just saw 1 HP" or "You were on 0% there" moments
  9. Been away for a while but there basically was no reason to update. But with the removal of double click and the release of NM DP the choice has now been narrowed severely. Basically take the best version of SA and FR.
  10. In response to the Seer issues: PvP/PvE: - allow Resplendance to be used on reducing the cast time of either Benevolence or Deliverance - remove health cost from NS on PvP 4piece PvE: - no need to change the 4piece but the Resplendance change would be good too.

  12. Are you talking about PvP or PvE? First of all there is no dimishing return cap for Accuracy vs. Defence/Resist roll. They cancel each other outright so a 110% Accuracy will always hit on a character with 10% Defence/Resist chance. Anymore beyond that is pointless. PvE - you want 110% because bosses (elites+) have 10% Force/Tech Resistance, Elites- have 5% but for endgame purposes it is 110%. The only exception is basic attack which even with 10% bonus to accuracy will still have a 10% chance to miss (basic accuracy is 90%) but that is a) not relevant to a Sorc and b) not worth the additional rating required to make base attack always hit. PvP - Don't bother with accuracy, outside of primarily tank cooldowns players have almost 0% Force/Tech resistance. A few specs have 2% and that is easily countered with the Electric Induction talent and companion bonus. Go Surge for better crits. Alacrity while for Sorcs has uses in PvE is not that great in PvP where burst is generally better than sustained. The I/E resistance from Inquisitor/Consular class buff is DR only and has nothing to do with accuracy.
  13. 37/7/2 or 36/7/3 You want both points in WP in Balance tree but the DR can be foregone for another talent in Seer tree (e.g. Master Speed) Since you are saying that you will be levelling, I reccomend taking Field Respec (if sub) and that way you can move points around as you level. Aim for Rejuvenate at 20, Healing Trance at 30 and Salvation at 45. Beyond that you can put points in the other trees in the meantime. Alternatively only put points into Seer until level 45.

It is not as obvious because the toon is crouching but basically he sits right above the ops frames, so even when I am focusing on them I can still see what is going on around me. I have seen some with the map also in the middle below the frames with bars either side, that is also pretty neat.   15. Funnily enough Shadows likely will have this problem. Their AoE taunt will become DPS threat dump too (assuming changes go through] OP should ticket or post in bug forums. EDIT: unless the orbs are immune to AoE taunt, I don't know.

  17. They are in addition. It's pretty neat. Even though 1s FL is still too long, but at least ups the change to get it off.
  18. Unfortunately Swtorspy and AMR are not yet updated and Torhead is broken for Sage/Sorcs. Fortunately though, while the position of talents in the Seer tree has been changed, their effect has not so you basically still want the same skills as those in the OP.
  19. You can think of me as upvoting 1 and 2 in current state (bar minor edits) and downvoting 3 in favour of skill tax or set bonus question (particularly the latter). I have nothing to add at this stage, after all the months this has been up. Also Nala, as soon as these are posted and answered people will be ************ about the questions, particularity those who have never posted in this thread. Ignore them and I personally thank you for taking time to do this.
  20. Turbulence is beastly. In fact it is also beastly in PvP but getting it off is more of a problem there.
  21. There is also the psychological strengths of hybrids. In PvP, determining the opponent's build is crucial so you know what to expect and how to counter it. This can as basic as interrupting Tracer Missile to prevent Barrage, Rail Shot and the associated armour debuff. Obviously stances are a giveaway. Hybrids on the other hand can always surprise you. Even with the stances there are still hybrids around so I do not see the absence of those to be a huge problem. There are so many Sage hybrids mainly because of the the fact that cap abilities are just not that impressive in PvP in comparison to other options.
  22. I am also against the hybrid question. Not because I think it is a good idea but pretty much for the reasons Ycoga pointed out.
  23. So taking those talents up in TK tree is better than Egress in 7/23/16. Basically I understand the higher Damage but what do you do when a Veng leaps and MS (without barrier)? So far I have tested that, 23/0/23 and Balance with Egress and out of those I like the latter the most. Also what gear do you suggest, namely crit and surge/ala amounts.
