  1. dear devs.... this is still bugged. fps drops to practically nothing even on the lowest graphix settings and the boss has a retardedly long reach. this makes it impossible to fight, much less finish the artifact quest for talos. any idea when this horrible bug will be fixed?
  2. really? WOW only put out new content once a year and it sucked. swtor has put out new ops once a year as well. as for the kotfe story, i have thought parts were boring, but there were parts that were amazing. chapter 12 comes to mind. if you dont want to do lvd, nothing said you have to. however, swtor devs keep putting out new story every month, and after all this was a story driven mmo. but there are plenty of other games out there so go pester those devs. im sure there will be a new op once the kotfe story comes to an end, as it would make sense to have a new op once that line is complete. on top of that, the original devs said they had 10 years of content planned when the game launched. so dont get your panties in a bunch. as i said, wow content was only a new raid every year and swtor has done that as well. yes there are plenty of distractions but there is still content i havent done and ive played since launch. but go whine elsewhere. im sure some other game is need of your opinion.
  3. so TAC, what stats does your spec require? with my spec i hardly needed crit, and could stack power. just needed accuracy to make sure evthing hit. parsed with your spec and it was way lower than what yall were posting, but then again, im average 162 gear prolly so that might have had something to do with it. just curious where i need to go with stats now
  4. since i have several armor collections available i always start a new toon with mod gear. just speed lvld a sent using it. went cybertech and crafted all my own armorings and mods for me and kira both. only thing ive had t o buy with planet coms was enhancements and saber hilts. using hte mod gear in this manner allows for me to always be over geared for the content im fighting and makes the lvling go realy fast and easy. i also can most of the time keep my quests orange for max xp. i do buy things like offhands with my other toons and mail it so that i make sure i have a full set of mod gear but i for one DEFINATELY say get a full set of mod gear and enjoy lvlling because you are OP!
  5. i have for a while had my sage set up as a hybrid balance. for me its the best option for raid as it has tremendous movement ability and great force regen. i have hardly ever ran out of force power and i can keep up my dps during movement instensive fights. its been a while since i ran ops and parsed but the last time i did i somewhat kept up with a better geared tele sage who was beast. heres the spec. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#600hMZfcMbbZfMcRsbkr.3 i do this a few reasons. first it is an incredibly easy rotation. i usually open with FiB, then tele throw which procs PoM so i get a free mind crush followed by weaken mind. then its spam tele throw and disturbance (on PoM procs) untill FiB is nearly off cd. then its just more of the same. not only is this rotation easy but with the changes in i guess 2.8 where pom procs happen quite often, i can set up to easily have plenty of instant casts to make on the run. if i need more i jsut have to stop long enough for a tele throw to get another pom proc. stats are not quite NiM ready but i can handle hard mode when i pay attention. like i said, i love this spec for the easy movement, easy rotation and no force problems. maybe not as great as a full tele set up but what i lose gets quickly gained back when the movement starts. thanks for advice, and constructive critisism......******s can get lost!
  6. i have played with my sages spec for a while now and have arrived at a spec I really enjoy, has no issues with force consumption, and does comparable dps to a full tk sage so I decided to post it here for scrutiny and discussion. hopefully it helps others. the spec is in essence a balance build, however I only take 29 points in the balance tree, stopping at mental scarring. the next 14 points go into the tk tree to get telekinetic effusion and psychic projection. what this does is makes for a very easy rotation and nice burst dmg with practically no expenditure of force power. the rotation is quite simple. open with force in balance for good dmg. then tk throw until POM procs. then hit mind crush and weaken mind. from there its tk throw until the next POM proc where you hit disturbance for the filler, keeping an eye on mind crush's cd to you have a POM proc available for the next mind crush, weaken mind and force in balance chain. only other stipulation is to keep cds on force potency and mental alacrity for the extra dps. as I said the spec is pretty simple. ive found it be quite mobile and my parses put my dmg at 1800 dps in mostly 69 gear. here is the full spec http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#600hZccMrbZfrcRsokrc.3 enjoy
