How about you read the his post smart guy. This was focused towards commandos NOT vanguards and yes assault spec is not viable for pvp. Any competent healer will cleanse and out heal the damage a Commando who is assault spec does. Even if there inst a healer your burst is laughable and very unreliable. Even with gunnery taking all the nerfs lately its still better then assualt spec for mandos.

Assault is still not up to par against gunnery in pvp imo. It just doesnt pack the same burst as the gunnery tree currently, even after the nerfs a gunnery commando can out burst any assault commando. But i do feel gunnery is very tough to play now with our reduced damage and melee getting their buffs so its really a preference of how long you want to stay alive. Most teams will not primary an assault speced commando due to the lack of grav spam and less immediate threat compared to other classes. So both hold some strengths its really up to you on how you want to play.

Assault spec is garbage for pvp, yes you are more mobile and harder to shutdown but you lack real burst damage. What little burst you get is very unreliable and any decent team with a competent healer just heals through all your damage. Overall you can match or out do the overall dps of a gunnery but the gunnery still wins out on burst dps, And burst is all that matters in pvp.

Nope they will continue to push out useless legacy updates to appease the tiny population of role players. But im cool with this tried gw2 beta and im sold, good luck bioware wont be getting this customer back.

When snipers/gunslingers use their dot spec a lot of their damage is internal which by passes your defenses, They are amazing at melting tanks. So in all its kind of fair since most other dps cant really do a whole lot to a true tank speced toon.

Same problem with my commando i went from 6.5k crit high to 4.5. This is some serious bs from bioware doing a ninja nerf on a class that was far from needing it.

Its always taken just two good dps to kill any healer. I cant count how many times our server top healers made the claim they can take 2 to 3 dps, was always glad to disprove those claims

my entire guild unsubed yesterday after the ranked wz lie was announced. Also notice we all got free a free month subscription. Trust me more then .01% unsub to get that panicky reaction.

Completely agree sir i dont roll a healer but i've watched great healers do crap performance now due to bio fails changes. My favorite commando healer can only put out for roguhly 15 secs then hes dry. They have really messed this up such a shame.

I'm no fan of same faction pvp but i love killing my guildies. You should tell your butt hurt members to suck it up and enjoy themselves. Its just a game and there is no reason to get that upset over some blue on blue.

I've noticed in my server "Death Wind Corridor" that our population is higher during the week. Everyone seems to be busy on the weekends for us lol.

Death wind corridor had 15 to 25 min wait times in the beginning but is near dead now. And i know for a fact other servers are in the same boat, so might want to rethink your theory.

As already said commando's arent 1v1 specialist. We do best sticking to the edges of a fight and los any potential attackers. But to say were the worst class is hilarious its is a very rare thing to not see me as top damage in any wz.
