Hello guys, I've been reading in several sites that the best gift for Elara is "Courting" items, but I gave those to her and she goes like "meh." Am I (actually "she") bugged or courting is not of her like. TL;DR - What should I give to her? Thanks

I guess if you open with FA, there is no time for the mobs to attack and produce pushback. Personally I would Open with a Plasma Grenade to activate HIB right away

My Bad =) I also go for Crit, because I plan to switch from time to time to Gunnery DPS, and power does not affect much. On the other hand, is very "crit" centric =)

I use Kolto-Bomb as a "preventive healing"... if I smell some incoming damage, I throw a Kolto-bomb as a buff. Also avoid as much as possible to use Medical Probe WITHOUT using first an Advanced MP. Try to fill in with Kolto Bomb or Hammer Shot

I so support this! And when I get some pictures will edit this post to show them... I've been "collecting" cannons, just the orange ones. For me it's not only the look, but also the sound... and I do have my favorite, but looks really dull

I think the talent is called Preventive Medicine, but has no interaction with crits.

I can tell you one thing, you will have plenty of time to do some serious DPS while healing =) Things that work while you are pew-pewing: Kolto-Bomb Residue: 5% increased healing, 10% damage reduction for 15 secs Advanced Medicine: 10% target armor increase, Healing over time for 9 secs Traumba Probe: Heals Target when takes damage (5 minutes or 10 charges)

I think you just put a "Blaster Rifle" on his weapons slot.. It's not like armor where you need "parts" or "motor", weapons is just a normal weapon Syl

No need to die guys... .... I mean, it's not a walk in the park, and you "may" eventually die, but it's better than running through a bunch of elite 50s. To reach that place in the bottom left side of the mat you need to go all the way north, to some outpost named Salara, Somara, something like that, travel a bit West ,and then start you travel all the way south... you will have to go through.... * intense music * The Outlaws Den, where you should not summon your companion if you don't want to get stabbed in the back Keep going south and eventually you will reach your trooper zone sound and "safe" =) Good Luck! Always roll/buy for better equipment, but if you really like a look from an "old" armor, remember that you can take the mods from an ORANGE (custom) gear and put it in another ORANGE gear, so basically you are upgrading an old armor, but keeping the look Syl

I don't want to get into the math of this, but.. Alacrity will only benefit MP, while stacking Power, Crit or even Surge will benefit ALL of your heals In order to get 1 "free" hammer shot, you need to bring the cast time of MP to 1.5 and do it 3 times (0.5 sec x 3 = 1.5 sec (Hammer Shot)) If you put that amount of alacrity in some other stat like power, I'm pretty sure the benefit of 3 bigger MPs will be far greater than 1 Hammer shot Syl

I saw some screenshots where this guys had some channeled or casting abilities on "Shift + W", which I think it's pretty clever and I'm going to use that (was running out of keys) No point on moving for a channeled stuff right? =) and for the Cryo grenade... probably one of the greatest healing spells, because it does prevent lots of damage. Use it, and use it often, same as Concussion Round (lvl 22) Syl

Ouh, I **think** I know the quest you are talking about... when you are in the zone and nothing is there, then probably you have a "vertical" problem.. meaning, you should go up or down the building hope it helps Syl

Correct. START a new character on another server is not an option, unless you are trolling hard. Free transfers AWAY from those servers should be implemen NOW, otherwise everyone will get into a Guild and refuse to leave "Small queues are to be expected", yeah right Syl

I would suggest AGAINST splitting points in the talent trees (at least until you get the final tier) Obviously Gunnery and Assault have no problem with DPS, but the Combat Medic Tree can hold his ground on hiw own way - SuperCharge Cell --> Spam Charged Bolts at 110% damage Remember that you will have a FULL TIME DPS companion, and they hit like a truck (compare his stat with yours in the Character sheet) So far I've had no problems downing elite, champion mobs. Plus it's always easier to find a spot as a healer =) Syl

Very good info so far. I'm not sure if you are talking about a boss fight or a "trash" pull. Depending on the level, you just cannot group and AOE, damage will be too high and some CC should be in order. Even your Kolto Bomb can deny TONS of damage from a single mob not DPSing for a few seconds. At lvl 22 (I think) you get Concussion Round, make sure to target a Ranged mob far far away from the AOE mess the tank is

I don't know if it's asking for too much but... ... is it possible to play a game when --> I <-- want, not when they told me to?? I read a dev post... "small queues are to be expected". 15 minutes is borderline... but 1 hour is not small. Syl
