  1. Come on.. The way the dye system was implemented was really really bad. I realise BW/EA might like it the way it is but I have a hard time believing players really like the implementation when compared to other solutions. But you take what you get.. Though I could never defend this implementation of dyes. I believe a lot more folks would buy dyes with cc's and credits if the dyes were at the minimum not destroyed upon extracting, or much better added to the collections system where you could unlock the ones you bought for your account if you wish. That would, in my book, be an example of customer care. Customer care wins in the long run. I sign both options 1 and 2, they are better than what is here now. I'm sure this thread would be better received if the word "petition" was removed and the title rewritten a little though Petitons are futile, but discussions are good.

  3. I actually did get a quick and personal response from customer service. In short they couldn't do much and told me to make a /bug report as it probably was a bug, and I hade made a support ticket. Still, I appreciate the fast response from customer service ! Did a bit of testing in game after that and found that the bug appears after buying medpacs from the GTN, then the RE-status of the medpacs becomes "no research availble" until I created one more on my own. The the status was reset to "20% chance".
  4. If the dialoguechoices during class quests are stored permanently it feels like it wouldn't be that hard to implement a playback function of the class quest cutscenes. I would appreciate such a function, and could live with the fact that how you look and what you wear "now" would be shown. The Jedi Knight ship has a holo recordings cabinet. When I first saw it I thought "nice - here is the playback function". But it wasn't...
  5. Thanks for the responses. These two issues don't seem to be mine I'm afraid I tested them, and also tested RE the other medpac at that skill level and that one did show the 20% possibility of success. Sent a prototype impeccable medpac over to another of my characters with sufficient biochem (an intended end user) and it didn't show any research available there either. Then I hoped it was a visual bug only and RE 20 blue impeccables.... it didn't work I have made an ingame ticket on this, hoping for a good response and not a normal auto generated one.
  6. Hi everyone. I just got to biochem 450 on my biochemist, and want to make "reusable impeccable medpac" for my characters. I successfully reverse engineered the green schematic of "impeccable medpac" and unlocked the blue prototype schematic. Having created a bunch of these blue medpacs now, I notice when hovering above them in the inventory that the RE-windows says "no research available". Doesn't matter if the medpacs are in a stack or not. Have I encountered a bug ? How have you unlocked the purple schematic "reusable impeccable medpac" ?
  7. Above is IMO the best way things like Treek should be implemented if legacy levels are part of the equation. And above is also IMO the way HK should be unlocked for additional characters if you dont want to quest every time. They could also bump the legacy level requirement to 50 to better justify giving things like Treek away free.
  8. Personally, I think people including myself are nuts to subscribe to this game giving its lack of polish and Hero engine-failure. I believe it will go even more F2P in the relatively near future - and make enough money to sustain itself that way. The new Collections system is an excellent example of a way to get money from a F2P crowd. As a bit of an altaholic I really like the Collections system.
  9. Logging out in cantinas for double xp resting, and doing the planetary bonus missions that usually pop up after the normal planetary quest chain are my tips as well.

  11. I believe I see the effects of the ability delay stuff every time I play. On different things, powers and combinations. Not too long into a play-session I get a feeling at the back of my head that combat doesn't flow as it should. It's not fun to have to wait for the animations to get done. As a Sith Marauder I frequently get misfires on the power I use after Deadly Saber. Deadly Saber is an instant cast sort of buff with an animation, and it doesnt affect global cooldown either. Often I activate the next power almost instantly after Deadly Saber as I dont want to wait for the animation to end, and most of the time it works good. But often enough, even when being cutious in trying to time it to the animation, the following power doesn't kick in, but the global cooldown starts to tick, and I loose rage - but the power is never used. Those moments are not happy moments
  12. Hi, I think the event was overall really nice - well done ! Getting the codex entries so you found out what happened was appreciated, I like story. I feel the following would be nice to consider for future events: *Make some form of ingame tell that the event is now live and how long it will last. Perhaps via ingame mail or chat. *The one daily quest per day in that specific questchain shouldn't have been one per day for late starters. You should be able to catch up atleast. *Perhaps we should have some way of knowing how many codex entries can be found for an event. Keep up the good work.
  13. Hi. Have you considered having most if not all Flashpoints available in a Heroic 2-mode ? Doesnt sound overly hard to tweak difficulty and loot based on what mode a Flashpoint would run in.
  14. Im a jedi knight, and I would like an apprentice in a swimsuit I would like to be in a swimsuit myself come to think of it. Sigh, it appears to not be the jedi way.. Im sure Jaessa will mature in time though and wear more covering clothes.
  15. Ability delay and related problems. Whats the current situation development-wise ? You made some progress a month or two ago, but it doesn't feel quite good yet.
  16. Haha, there you have it. You pointed out Biowares mistake. There was no official information about when the event was going to end inside the game. Only players chatting, not to be trusted, they can be agents of the Empire/Republic. I feel Bioware should have made every player aware ingame of atleast the end date. This could be spammed by the game itself as a whisper to the player on login until the event ended, or by ingame email from the Emperor or Satele.
  17. The above is absolutely correct. The details of an ingame event should in my opinion be visible ingame. Perhaps like Wow presented information in the chat window, everytime you logged in, if there was an important thing to consider. I know many people who didn't know for CERTAIN when this event would end. I find it funny that people defend the poor way the details of this event has been given to the players.
  18. Hm, I too am a bit surprised that people with a level 50 character get 30 days free. I'm glad for you but find it really odd PR-wise. Me and my wife both preordered and have had active subsriptions the entire time so far, but haven't reched level 50 yet on any character. But we have many level 25 - 30's. Thats how we like to play. We would also have appreciated 30 days free.

  20. Im far far from endgame crafting so I dont know how it is. But I wouldnt mind endgame crafting-gear being less powerful than raid-drops. Exclusion being crafting shematics dropped from raids. I would however like the normal max level crafting-gear to perhaps be visually unique with many visual variants, moddable and equal to heroic 2+ mission-drops if such exists at level 50.
