  1. R2 was LOYAL, not Obediant. very important differance
  2. they never struck me as all that bright. the fact is Lucas said every clearly, Vader's cybernetics weakened him
  3. do we see this problem in Imp side ops? no as I said earlier, people put the RP at the door where ops are concerned
  4. yup, kotfe ends all that stuff for you, this is WELL documented and youa re WARNED before you start
  5. you're not listening to what I said. my point is the Jedi don't spend their entire lives learning how to only use the force and I wish people didn't rely on obsidian's poor writing (seriously KOTOR 2's big plot revelation was an IC explaination of XP for crying out loud) to hammer this point. we see again and again and again, every major jedi we see tends to pick up a wide array of skills. Jedi are trained to operate in the field alone or in pairs, assuming they're a buncha incompetant spoon benders is pretty silly.
  6. 9 AM: have a leisurely breakfest 9: 30 AM: read news paper, curse that Calvin and Hobbes is no longer run 10 AM have someone attempt to kill me, express "suprise" before killing would be assasin 10: 30 AM visit Charity Children's home./ 11 AM: Burn it to the ground, 12 noon: Lunchon 1 PM: meeting with Dark Council 2 PM: have someone attempt to kill me again, express "suprise" before killing would be assasin
  7. sadly I doubt we'll see Elara back for awhile as troopers have gotten so many of their companions accounted for already
  8. you're assuming that jedi aren't trained in other areas. Kreia was stupidity being thrown out as wisdom. the Jedi train their entire lives, assuming they focus purely on the force is rediculas, do they relay heavily on it? well yeah, but that's like critizing a soldier for being less effective if he's suddenly blinded.
  9. as for where the alliance founders are, the answer is "away" the show makes it very clear they're out there, but they're going to be keeping things at arms length. right now even if one of the characters in SW rebels was interrogated and broke, they could not pin point with any garentee Bail Organa's DIRECT involvement in the rebellion
  10. Wookiepedia's judgement is hardly meaningful, their long standing policy in the cases of SW video games has been to assume light side choices by the main character, they decided that with the Imperial classes in SW:TOR, assuming all dark side choices is the best assumption. but that's purely an editorial policy of the wiki
  11. also it's worth noting Commander in the Republic military isn't even a rank so much as an honorriffic given to only the best commanders out there irregardless of rank
  12. my point was his claim that a relaunch of SWG would somehow turn SWTOR into a ghost town is utterly without foundation. because clearly most of the people playing SWTOR never played SWG.
  13. SWg at it's HEIGHT had less players then SWTOR at it's LOWEST point
  14. if you're rep side your character won't know doc oroggrub in KOTFE
  15. made sense to me, I can't seem him letting her just dissapper even if he was supposed to (attachgment issues being a thing) I imagine he would have kept tabs on her to make sure she was settling into her civilian life
  16. if she's Canadian she's too polite to do that
  17. it's horriable, even Canadian based games charge in USDs
  18. some bugs take a lot of work to fix, others literally require tweeking the databases
  19. yeah, it's a lot of work being done for a small segement of the population. even as a person who'll likely get the content I'd be happier if BW sold access to it after say.. 6 months
  20. the end goal is quite possiably just to ease conveniance. the naming issue is proably BW's response to the name shortage as they don't wanna do a name purge
  21. *sighs* your character is not weak it's just your opponents are strong!
  22. it's possiable he doesn't use it and is just investing some old stuff
  23. the Douglas Adams article is irrelevent. why? because he's not writing Star Wars, he's writing in his stand alone book series etc. paying attention to the setting becomes more important in a collaborative story writing effort,
  24. 1: Pearl harbor wasn't genocide. 2: funny you should mention that as until Hitler declared war on the US in late '41 the US was quite content to sit on it's hands while Hitler enacted the final solution.
  25. I think you'd be better off lecturing him on what genocide means.
