I am having the same issue this seems to only happen to me when I ding by playing GSF

I saw a lot of fixes for the group finder go into place today but it seems the most important one was missed. The group finder needs to return the player back to there original planet\area they queued from much like the war zone queue. It really frustrating to be out in the middle of no wear on a planet queue and having to run back that spot. Which for most could be a major deterrent to queue in the first place there for causing longer queue times. I understand this mostly affects alt but it would be nice not to have to sit on the fleet waiting for the queue to pop

The current medal system is fine. It rewards people for defending a point instead of running around just trying to top the damage chart. I remember countless huttball games before the medals where changed where everyone just ignored the objective and went out to see if they could be top damage. Did you remod some of your gear with shield chance or go with the the stats that columi gave you? I am still missing a few pieces like head, implants, ear, glove. If I recall (I am at work) my stats are 51% percent dmg reduction 15% defense 31% shield rating 35% absorb I could be wrong with the above number but its close

You are not beable to join "System Created" channel unless you are in the zone. I am assuming you want to join fleet general to join flashpoints. What my server did was create an lfg channel by typing /cjoin lfg that way its a global channel. The trick is getting people to use it.

When purchasing a laptop its a good idea not to go the cheap route or you will just end up wanting to replace it once the next big game comes out doesn't run well with our hardware. I would suggest getting one of the laptops that have the 560M in it but they are a tad pricey

I will second the I5 2500k and the 560ti. Currently I am running 2600k 8gigs of ram 560ti and have almost no issues but a 2500k will work just as well.
