  1. PhD student - Environmental Science. Smuggler - Scoundrel - Sawbones.
  2. At the moment: 7/10 Hopefully this will increase with patches/updates/expansions.
  3. I did exactly the same, I'm happy with the game but not convinced enough to commit to 3 months. I still haven't completed Skyrim so will go back to that if SWTOR doesn't hold me. The Secret World looks promising for April also.
  4. No the compromise is: USA, UK, France and Germany (what I'm assuming to be the vast majority of their playerbase) are fine.
  5. France and Germany - I'm assuming these are largest player bases outside of UK based on language localisaiton - are just +1 GMT which means maintenance would run 9-5pm (8-4pm in UK). This is still off peak as most people are out (work/school/uni) so it makes perfect sense to me. Bioware has to compromise somewhere and if they tried to cater for all the unemployed/shift workers/smaller player bases in different time zones they would never be able to perform maintenance.
  6. 10am-4pm when most people are at work/uni/school. So it's fine, leave it as it is.
  7. I agree with the OP. SWTOR isn't perfect (by a long stretch) but I am enjoying it nonetheless for exactly what it is: a thempark MMO. I knew this when I bought the game so I'm happy to live with it. For how long though, we'll have to see.
  8. Cheers for the feedback. We don't have proper acknowledgement that they are taking this issue seriously. And my comp, although far from stellar, should certainly see better FPS than I'm getting.
  9. The simple solution to the above response is for all of us players who are suffering from poor FPS to submit a ticket to the ingame Customer Support so we can formally register our concerns. Perhaps then they'll take us more seriously instead of fobbing us off as a "minority". We may be a minority in purely proportional terms but we are likely to number in the tens if not hundreds of thousands which represents a very significant amount of people and sizeable chunk of revenue for Bioware. I am willing to be patient as I realise such issues are complex and take time, all I ask is for proper acknowledgement by Bioware.
