Out of the 16 flashpoints and 4 operations only 6 flashpoints are focused on the fight between the empire and the republic. is anyone else hoping for additional content where we can fight the empire and republic directly perhaps even in an operation. Right now endgame content is more about how the empire and republic have common enemies than about how they hate each other. Yes it is cheaper and faster to make one operation or flashpoint that both factions can do than to make one for each side. But the entire basis of this game is the fight between the empire and republic. I would hate to see continual merging of factions.

  5. i unlocked HK on my lvl 3 jedi knight (got him on my sniper) at lvl 3 to lvl 9 his target eliminated would stack very slowly and assassinate would miss all targets. Damage seemed low but did not watch it carefully. His gear is same as start at lvl 50. It is marked red and he has stats as if he was naked. I removed his sniper rifle and replaced it with a lvl 5 rifle. After the switch target eliminated stacked like normal and assassinate worked, and damage seemed significantly higher. would be nice to have the gear scale but for now replacing his rifle makes him useful.

    Stealth

    stealth would not be op for the sniper if it only worked out of combat and did not have an ability to re-enter stealth in combat. If would become a positioning ability. it would allow a more offensive gameplay than a defensive one. (referring to taking position at an objective you are defending vs being able to take position near an objective you are attacking) i'm sure you have experienced being pulled or leaped at when attempting to attack a node.
  7. I play a marksman sniper. 1. How do you think your Sniper spec is perceived by other classes? I expect that marksmen snipers are considered to be easy kills in pvp, but deadly if ignored especially to healers and low armor classes. In pve marksmen snipers are seen to have good dps but are required to remain stationary so dps suffers greatly when forced to move often. Marksmen are viewed as pure dps without mobility or utility. 2. How do you perceive your own spec? In pvp i view myself as a supporting class focusing on killing healers or denying areas especially in huttball. In pve i view myself as a mass add killer with orbital strike and a damage dealer whose value to the operation is solely additional personal dps.

With the current state of the game with many players now able to buff multiple class buffs and the removal of some abilities from affecting operation bosses it seems that class diversity among raiders is not encouraged. Are there any plans to encourage greater diversity in operation groups among DPS or pure DPS advanced classes through unique advanced class abilities? Or worded another way are there plans to make an operations group with a high class diversity have a greater “flow” or “quality of life” than a low diversity operations group?
  10. you can aoe around objects. if you run around something small a sniper can use orbital strike or Suppressive Fire(looks like normal blaster shots) to hit you unless the object is large. also a grenade tossed at people near you with hit you.

All hostile targets within 10 meters of the probe after initial pull are slowed by 50% for 10 secs. Target Spotting Each time the sniper hits a with snipe, ambush, or series of shots target spotting is increased by 1 stack. Stacks up to 20 times. Each stack of target spotting increases surge accuracy and armor pen by 1%. Teleport Uses adapted rakata teleporter tech acquired by imperial intelligence to teleport to the location of your teleportation probe droid. Does not require los 60m range. Teleportation probe droid Places a teleportation probe droid at your location for 2 mins. Droid can be targeted and destroyed by hostiles.

  13. i finished the sw as jug and working on jk as sentinel. Both feature a lot of moments where you ignite your saber as a sentinel seems odd as i only activate one as a jug it felt better. The use of force push by the sw in several sequences would probably seem odd to a marauder as i believe they lack that skill. interesting to hear sage seems to be the focus and SI can have an assassin slant to it. No one has mentioned smuggler yet any thoughts?
  14. In your opinion what is the best AC to play for each class with the only consideration being the story. Keep the titles, events, cutscenes, and setups for required story fights in mind. For example many of the fights required in the Agent story force the player into melee range at start making a sniper feel less like a sniper.

  16. I enjoyed the announcements on the fleet, the news reporters, the changes to tat reflecting the infection and the side dialog of the random npcs, and the general storyline. I did not like the daily quest aspect of the event. The event items should not be limited to how long you grind dna but for completing mile stones in the event and be bound by legacy. I think more of a storyline with more dialog choices. A few npcs a few conversation options. Maybe a quest or 2 that directly lead into the rakghoul flashpoints.

I am sure everyone has played mmos, single-player games, watched anime, ect where no matter the weather a character is walking around without a shirt or with loose clothing or otherwise inappropriate clothing choices. After a few thoughts creating armor on hoth or tatooine that is weather appropriate is not such a good idea as either it must be orange or no one will use it and if you collect cold weather gear on hoth you are already on hoth and gaining the gear from the previous planet has its own issues as well. With that in mind I present this idea. A weather gear customization slot. At the start of each planet you are greeted on the space station and are issued a gear item that you can if you want place in that slot that will either slightly alter your armor appearance or give you an extra visual effect. For example: On tatooine you are issued the brown cloak thing that qui gon jinn was wearing On belsavis a camo cloak similar to ones used on endor On hoth a snow camo cloak with some fur on it. Doesnt need to have stats or just make the stats a presence buff. Add a similar companion customization for weather and you can have both characters keep their normal armor and have a prepared look to them.

Why should people be expected to write in decent english on the english forums? Grammar is clearly an attack on our freedom. I support you my brother.   21. would like to see snipers specifically engineering at the very least have a probe droid that can detect stealth. I would like to see accuracy be altered for snipers. Accuracy should not only reduce chance to miss or dodge or deflect but should also increase the chance of critical hits and increase armor penetration. Why? Because a sniper should be able to above all other class target where on the body the shot goes specifically targeting weak points and areas of low or non-existent armor. some type of slowing ability. and some type of cc that works on all npcs. the energy shield in cover should have a small chance to deflect/absorb any type of damage with a long cooldown short duration ability that reflects all incoming damage back at the caster.
  22. sniper range is 35 m so not much to worry about. And without a shield any base is a target for orbital strikes.
