So if i pull all the mods, armor, and enchancements out of, say the bh battlemaster gear, i can put them in the bh 40 set without losing a set bonus or any other benefit?

With out a doubt those who win should get more rewards than those who lose. Thats common sense and if you dont agree on that then you shouldnt be playing anything like pvp, or anything competitive at all. You wont even be able to handle competitive knitting. Now, that aside, lets look at the purpose of getting gear in the first place. I can only speak for myself, but i personally believe the look of the recruit gear (for the marauder atleast), looks awesome and I am not compelled to get geared beyond this set for aesthetic reasons. THE ONLY reason I would continue up the ranks of gear is so that I can be more effective in pvp, and thus have more fun in pvp. PVP GEAR IS FOR PVPERS. As far as commendations go, I've averaged about 80 commendations in the 10 matches I played since 1.2 came out. Once battlemaster chest piece costs 1400 commendations. This means that I will need to play roughly 17 and a half games, and perform at the top of my game for them all, to get once piece of bm gear. Personally, I do agree that this is a hell of a grind. The focus should not be on grinding for gear (if i wanted to do that id play pve), but rather on enjoying pvp for the sake of pvp. To address consistent losers, the only time I ever "consistently" lost in pvp is when i was pugging it against premades. In anything competitive, organized teams will always trump pugs. (except in rare exceptions, of course. I had ONE game where this certain guild managed to get 8 members into the wz with 3 healers, and our pug team destroyed them ending in a 3 cap. it was really sad). If you dont like it, dont expect to do well. It would be like mongolia declaring war on china, who would expect mongolia to win? Now, I will conclude by saying that losers should have the opportunity to get geared as well. Granted, it should take longer for them, but i dont believe pvp should be weighted in favor of who ever is better geared.

Recruit gear should give you a fighting chance.

Good players will have no problem playing any of the classes.

Let me tell you, i have ZERO rotation as a marauder. I mean, sure, i have a general order of abilities i like to use (such as gore-> force scream to crit the 2.5), but everyone of your moves is reliant on what the enemy does. Against a scoundrel/operative, I force charge in and put a dot/root on them. then its just a matter of exploiting their squishyness. Thats just one example, but marauders have the utility to beat any class one on one. The only utility they dont really have is a displacement. But this assuming you have the skill. You also have to stay on top of all your buffs-predation, cloak of pain, saberward, berserk, frenzy, and two others that im forgetting. These will literally make or break a match.

join a guild, run a premade. Seriously, i have been developing a certain guild since my main was on his third planet, and its finally starting to pay off. Solo queuers will inevitably get facerolled. Sad fact about organized online gaming.

youre most likely observing the bh's between levels 10 and 30 when in pvp. theres a brief moment between levels 30 and 50 where we get a lot more mando armor

the uppercut and jet blast abilities serve as some decent intterupts for the merc. Marauders are op as it is, dont make it worse.

Yes it only works on strongs and weaks, I was merely listing all of the stuns available to the scoundrel. But nitpicking aside, even with out flying fists and the immobilize root, scoundrels still have a great deal of stuns and cc's

if you use 3 tm's in your rotation, as you should, then nothing will change. but if youre a REAL tm spammer (more than 3 consecutively), then you will notice a distinct drop in your damage output and effectiveness. Im perfectly fine with this.

Everyone knows that you have to compensating for something to want to use an assault cannon. Have you seen this dinky pistol? Id take that over an assault cannon any day. But yes, the trooper armor is pretty dope, and their endgame pvp armor is superior to the bh armor in every aspect.

And there was obvious mutual respect between Boba and Vader, which was apparent when Vader looked at him and said "no dissenters" (or something like that) or when Fett confronts vader about the status of his bounty. I mean, thats just pure bad assery. And you want to compare this to the trooper? Haha the only heroic troopers the movies showed is the ones that stood up to the jedi and shot them down. Otherwise they were just depicted as a bunch of cannon fodder.

An immobilizing ability can be just as damaging as a stun in a wide variety of instances. I am not familiar with the juggernaut.

Right now im getting around top damage in warzones with full cent gear and champ main/off hand. I dont know about you, but pvp really isnt that bad. As far as the nerf goes, i couldnt gaf. Increased damage for heatseekers/unload more than compensates for the nerf to tracers.

tracer spam specd i usually get around top damage in wz's with cent gear and 2 champ weapons. im looking foward to the nerf, which is really a buff. Then, when i get top damage, people will know its skill and not me just playing an op class. Furthermore, the operative/scoundrel is the worst ac for pvp atm.

I play my merc for simple rotation and large damage scores, and i play my marauder for no rotation but unrivaled utility for 1v1 engagements.

i had the same initial reaction, but i just finished act 1 and i think its pretty good. maybe not as good as the bh and sw act 1's but all of the casual sex makes up for it
