  1. Why would your credit card not be charged when you subscribe? Need situation and background information.
  2. Not true, Oggthebase. It specifically says this. "Your account will move to Free-to-Play status if you cancel your subscription and your paid game time runs out." That's the key--the paid time hasn't run out, so he should still be a full subscriber.
  3. What should have happened was that you got billed for the 180 days of play, and you remained a full on subscriber for the balance of that 180 days *without going f2p*. That's the bug, that you went F2P after cancelling your subscription even though there was 5 months and two weeks left on your subscription. It should be like that because there are many players like myself, who subscribe for 3 or 6 months or whatever, and then cancel the subscription but have every intent on playing out the full subscription time left. We just cancel it so that when our accounts DO run out, we can keep track of the exact day that the charge will be put on our debit cards. I have a lot of monthly bills that come out of my debit card account, but keeping track of the exact date of charges that are going to be applied every 3 months, or every 6 months, is a bit trickier.
  4. By a nexu's whiskers, THIS. I have loved my Jedi Consular's story but no point in the game has come anywhere NEAR being as satisfying as this moment in the smuggler story was for me.
  5. Bam, said the lady! Sign me up for the Zenitih Fanclub! And like another poster, I've started a Zenith-based fanfic but I haven't posted it yet--largely cause none of my friends who do my beta reading have finished the Consular story and so are avoiding spoilers... which my story is full of...
  6. I used Zenith exclusively from 36 (or whatever level I got him) on when Seer specced. Put him in sniper mode, bubble both of us, CC the strongest mob and take down others from weakest to strongest. With decent gear he could nearly one-shot weaker mobs.
  7. It's interesting, that despite how he comes across as a 'bad boy', Zenith is second only to Nadia in regards to easy it was to get affection gains for my 100% light side choices. He gives affection gains for loyalty to a cause and helping people in need (especially military personnel) and punishing/reporting traitors. The only times I ever lost affection with him were for the same things that I lost affection with Qyzen for--he really hates it if you let a powerful enemy survive because he believes it will come back to bite you in the butt later.
  8. You do know you get 100% of that 'killer deposit' back if the item doesn't sell, right? And that you only pay a what, 1% listing fee to the GTN if the item sells? Nothing gained, nothing lost. That's WAY less than what it cost on other games. I won't swap to biochem because I've got some nice and decent rare recipes with Synthweaving that actually sell, and with the upcoming crew skill buff everything BUT biochem will be getting, I'm not losing all those recipes I dropped dozens (hundreds) of mats learning and starting all over again. To quote Will Smith, "Oh HELL no."
  9. Healing for sages is anything but underwhelming. When i got Zenith at 36 or 37, I packed up Qyzen, geared Zenith out with the best gear I could make or afford, and went to town. As the previous poster said, Forcequake made things easy. I set him on single target damage and turned off his aoes, I force armor both of us, force lifted the strongest mob, strategically place forcequake to avoid hitting that one, and zenith sniped off the rest. Once the weaker mobs were all dead, I'd top off our life and then kill the lifted mob. It was far more fun fighting like that than it was to stand back and heal qyzen, even though it would have been just as easy to forcequake and send him wading in with techblade. Tip! Mobs do less damage when they can't stand cause the ground is shaking under them!
  10. A few days ago, I teasingly said in guild chat that I had a minor crush on the Consular companion Zenith. A guildmate promptly returned, "really, because I thought it was all-encompassing." And being the weirdo that I am, it immediately made me come up with the following Haiku. Singularity My love for Zenith A black hole light can't escape Spinning endlessly. I showed the poem to a friend who also is a Zenith fangirl, and she laughed and then said now, she wanted to see a haiku written in Zenith's voice. That it oddly seemed like composing haiku would be a dirty little secret for him, something he did when out on sniper duty to help pass the long hours in the stillness, you know, when it isn't time to take that shot just yet, and he has to stay alert. A few minutes later I came up with this: Trust Faith in friends is gone, But the rifle is steadfast. One more Imp is dead. So now, I want to see what you guys can do. This is meant to be a fun thread to spur on your creativity--write a haiku about anything you want. From your pov, your character's pov, or their companions. Or just about Star Wars in general! Let's see what you got!
  11. Wow that's the exact opposite of what I'd have thought. Cause Zenith does 3k+ single target damage a pop, I dont ever recall seeing Nadia hit that hard...
  12. There was a boat load of running around after that point. You have to go to fleet, then Tython, then back to fleet, then back to tython, then on to balmorra. It was really freaking confusing, and involveda whole lot of running through space station corridors. If you haven't been to Tython, I'd be willing to bet that's your next stop.
  13. need more info! Give some more details beneath spoilers tag? I've done the whole class quest line but there's so many quests that they kind of blur together unless you mention a specific location/level/event.
  14. I'll see what I can come up with! I've been recording all companion dialogues in game for reference, so I'll just take a screen-cap of one of them.
  15. Actually I think Nadia does the most AOE damage, Zenith does the most single-target damage. This is from my observations, anyway.
  16. Zenith is pure <3 <3 <3 I'm a total fangirl (for realz!) and am working on a fanfic! you should do one of him in his red customization skin!
  17. Romance is not against the Jedi Order or code. What IS against the jedi code is becoming so obsessed with your partner that you forget/neglect your duties and oh, I don't know, bribe or threaten anyone who has the potential to expose you, like those two on Tython. Anakin always seemed to be barely clinging to emotional control, and frequently lost his temper, disastrously so on many occasions. And that was well before he really went dark, so I can see why the order would have prohibited him from marriage. They could see the writing on the wall even then. Now that said, I also wish that we got our romance options earlier in our story line. I feel really bad for male consulars having to wait until 45+.. and oh how I wish that Zenith were romanceable. I find him far more interesting than Iresso, who is a nice guy, but... eh. I'm hoping that as the game expands further in the future, they'll open up more romances for us. I'm not saying I want to romance Qyzen or anything but... sheesh.
  18. Find the big red rakghouls. Right before you attack them, go to your quest log and reset the quest. Then kill the rakghoul--making sure to get infected in the fight. That should work. If it doesn't, rinse, repeat. It WILL work.
  19. The one I picked i picked solely cause I liked his voice and thought he'd make an interesting playable race. I did avoid picking one
  20. By your line of thinking, if every kid in your neighborhood knew how to ride a bike by the time they were 7 and made it look easy, and talked about how easy it was, you'd be the one standing aside and saying, "Nah I'm not even going to bother learning how to do it, cause it's too easy." Does that make any sense? No? Neither does your reasoning for not wanting to do dungeons.
  21. Anytime you visit a new planet, there's generally orange modifiable gear you can buy on either the Specialty Goods vendor, or the equipment commendations vendor for yourself and your companion. There are lots of orange heavy armor recipes, they generally start at about level 17, i can make them with synthweaving and my husband can make them with armorcraft. The trick is, for the crafted armor recipes, you have to make some that is NOT class specific. Qyzen can wear heavy armor, but he can't wear heavy armor that's Trooper/Jedi Knight usable only. I always choose orange modifiable gear over blue/green gear, because its far easier to find and upgrade mods/armoring/enhancements with commendations than it is to keep constantly looking for new gear. I always take commendations over gear offerings, because in general the gear that I can buy with commendations is far better than the reward gear anyway. I keep my eyes peeled aim/endurance armor gear from normal mob drops that I can fill in the empty or upgradeable gear spots on my companions, and visit the GTN every time I go to town, looking for gear in the required level range. Make sure to keep his weapon and offhand items upgraded--you can buy him a green weapon every time you go to a new planet from the Weapons vendor, but that can get pricey. Alternately, usually there's some armstech fueling the Techblade market selling techblades that can significantly add to his damage as well. If you havent done so, get ear pieces and implants for him, and yourself. If you're graeter than light or Dark 2, the Light side vendor over in the GTn area will have some relics you can use for yourself (companiosn don't have relic item slots). Treasure Hunting can be amazing for outfitting companions--I have two alts that do treasure hunting and I store eveyr single blue/orange piece of gear I get. I never know when I might have an alt or companion that can use it. When I do mob killing, I make sure Qyzen's AOE is turned off (or did when I used him, I Use Zenith exclusively), Force Armor both of us, CC the strongest mob, and then kill the weaker mobs. Watch for mobs that are healing the others, usually combat medics or technicians, and kill those first. It's always best to kill the same mob that your companion has targeted--the faster a mob goes down, the less damage it is doing to you. It's always better to kill 1 mob together, than to work on 2 mobs separately because each mob you kill means it's 1 less mob that's dealing damage to you and Qyzen. Less damage is always good.
  22. if you had it figured out by level 20, I commend you for your precognitive abilities, sir, because at level 20, there had not even been mention of either
  23. At the same time you get the min/maxers who would only accept people for raiding if they had particular mods or could prove that they were doing a certain amount of dps. I rather like the ambiguity of it right now, personally, though a combat log sure would be nice.
  24. Why can't you act on it as a light side Jedi? Sure you can. I'm 10000 Light Side, don't have a single dark side decision yet, and I romanced Iresso just to see what would happen. You know what happened to my light side jedi? Nothing. Not a single dark side choice was made, or light side points lost. That's because the Jedi code doesn't call for celibacy, and there are Jedi with children. They're just not supposed to be so caught up in their relationship with another that they ignore their duties, or in the case of a particular pair on Tython, physically threaten or try to bribe others. If you've reached that point, it's time to take a step back and reevaluate your relationship. And oohhh how I wish Zenith were romanceable. Even so, as you get to know him better through his story line he comes to trust you deeply, and it's obviously not something he gives lightly. So it's not quite as good as a romancing, but I'll take it.
