Unless i misunderstood your post (if so pls ignore my post), RE in this game does not refer to the chance to get a better schemetics. I think it's more like REcycling as you put it.

Not True, I have all crew skills at max on two lv50 mains and six lv 10 - 15 alts and they do fine. Your level doesnt affect crafting result.

Never tried it as i dont have a WH piece yet but i believe they have said that pvp schemetics wont be available through RE.

We were always able to trade cross faction item through the Neutral gtn and yes the looks will change when u mail it to the other side.

havent tried it myself but they are suppose to be able to crit now.

The dev specifically said no orange belt/bracers schemetics will be available at this time.

Dont forget the synthweaving augments

I can confirm this. Just saw a purple crystal schemetics (non-expertise but i dont remember exactly which) on the GTN a few days ago. Not sure where they got them but i assume grade 7 box purchased with ship comm is one way kk i will update you when i see him ingame again today.

It's not something i do everyday, its not cheap but thats fine for me.

If the original schemetic was green it will RE from green - blue - purple 1. If it started out as a blue it will RE from blue - purple 1 - purple 2. You can get an augment slot (depending on what you're making) Armors, weapons, earpiece, implants and a few other stuff (relics too i believe) with crit.

A guildie got a crystal schemetics from the grade 7 box purchased with ship comm. I didnt ask which color or what stats though.

Dev has already clarified that it's a tooltip bug. The bonus still applies.

But when you have 12 of those ppl on ur screen all at once it gets confusing (yes, every ms counts). I said this cause i've played a game where both factions have the same classes and wears the same armor for pvp.

I guess it depends on the server. On my server most if not all augments/weapons schemetics sells for 2 - 5k. I personally probably have 3 of each augment/weapon schemetics so id think there are others like me and the gtn on my server is literally flooding with those. Well even if the schemetics are 30k and the mats 1-2k like u said u'd still need 4 - 8k to make "each" augment (and id assume u'd want to make more than one augment out of that said schemetics) so i'd still say mats > schemetics, price wise =)

But will it be moddable (armoring & mod)?

I play mostly republic (6 toons), have all my crafting on the republic side and transferring my crafted gear to my empire alts (through nar shadaa) and sell my stuff on both faction pre 1.2. Now that 1.2 is here it's even easier as i can directly mail my crafted goods through the mailbox so a neutral gtn on the fleet would not be a bad idea =)

Pre 1.2 not many users use the neutral GTN, most ppl used it to transfer gear/credits to their alts on the other side. So post 1.2 even less ppl use the neutral GTN now since you can just mail your gear/credit to your alts on the other side right from your mailbox. I think the idea to make the ship GTN neutral is so they could promote it and hope more users will use it but it kinda backfired when they allowed cross faction mail within your legacy. If they make the fleet gtn neutral too, then the ship gtn will actually be more useful than it is now and id think some ppl will actually spend the 5m for that feature.

Yeah i was kinda dissapointed too. But i think its mostly set that way so you dont confuse the other side in pvp.

I answered this in the other thread, scroll down to my post (#9 i think) http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=4054551#post4054551 The set bonus for item lv58 or below wont transfer with the armoring. Only the new lv61 or above will. And if you click the dev post i linked in that other thread it says that "it doesnt matter when you get it" so even if you got the BM pieces post 1.2 the set bonus wont transfer. Hope that helps.

They confirmed somewhere (i couldnt find it atm) that the belts and bracers wont have an orange schemetics if that helps

Make sure you are slicing for the augment mats mission instead of lockboxes cause dont dont yield augment schemetics (from my experience at least). Either way, if you dont take up slicing on an alt you will be spending tons anyway on blue/purple mats. The price of the schemetics on the GTN are cheap compared to the mats =)
