  1. I disagree. If you bring in a Bh roll like I mentioned , subs would sore. For a time at least. Of course , you would need to balance it with pvp. Thus if you pvp you get on the boards. If you don't , don't worry about it then. If you unsub , you lose the new class/character. All of the game coding is already there. Even the voices. The companions would talk for you. Story class missions? Who needs them. This class lvls by bounties through pvp. Thus no voice overs (could even throw in pve versions to lvl up where u get a mission from ur ship just like you do on yavin)
  2. Take my idea on how to fix the voice acting and then add this idea to as a new class... ready for it... An actual Bounty Hunter. It can be melee , ranged , LS , Vibroblade , sniper rifle or w/e. Point is , they have to be either neutral , imp or pub. If they pick a side then they have to BH the other side. This would be a end game class , very expensive and very pvp heavy. He would blend BH and Spy all at the same time. (throw in a pve acpect if u wish) Kinda goes like this. Say your Imp , so u get a bounty and ur target is on the Pub fleet. You got to pay say 500k for false papers , ship pass and codes to get on the Pub fleet. It only lasts so long (say 45min) and you have to stay away from the roaming robot patrols (and some of the classes already have scaning or some other kind of social action. These can be used to target random players to see if they are BH ) If players of roaming patrols spot u , ur uncovered and can be attacked by everyone. This Bh would have to be able to take some major beatings and damage would need to be good. The bounties pay more if you go after them on the fleet or behind enemy lines (like near or in faction bases) and pay less if you get them out in the open worlds or in pvp. The damage and defense rolls would be tones down unless they r hunting in faction areas , that way they couldn't be abused in pve. You could also throw in a way for this Bh to be a beastmaster. It could be able to control say 2 or 3 companions , or maybe a creature or 2 , but reduces its damage and defense in return. Feel free to expand on this. You get the idea
  3. If you think about it , there is a ton of ways around the voice acting for a new class. I'll give my idea and you can see where it goes. The new class starts on Ilum , after a major battle. Lets say for this idea you start at lvl 50 and only subscribers can get this new class. This would increase cash flow for the game. Anyways , after the battle you wake in a hospital. No one knows who u r or what side you were on. U had major burns all over so a doc comes in and tells you they r gonna reconstruct ur body (thus the character creater screen) so now you get to pick any species (lets say this is where they throw in Asokia's species) Again , you only get any of this if you sub , and if you ever unsub you can never use this character until u resub. Then just like all other toons , you start ur adventure. Here is how they can save money. Since you were burnt so bad , you have no voice. Everyone gets one companion that's the same no matter what. Lets say HK. Your brain is hooked up to him so he can hear your thoughts and voices them for you (add random comedy in here as HK tries to learn when he should and shouldn't voice something you think) If that sounds like too much money still , you can always go the way of the missions on Yavin where u just pick up the missions and read them then go. No voice acting needed. You could also take that whole idea and start from lvl 1 and go with it. I say stick to the idea that they have no idea who they r and have to decide what side they want to be on. Maybe even stay neutral. (sorry for the sloppy writing , this was done on my Galaxy Note 4 at night in the middle of the ocean on a cruise)
  4. They could do it like SWG did when it first came out. If u pick a character that doesnt speak basic , others cant understand u untill u teach them ur language. They would see whatever language u speak come across the screen , butno translation untill someone trains them , thus making more situations where people need to interact and maybe giving them xp for it. Something like that anyways. Always thought that was a cool feature for swg. Id like to see Togruta tho , as ive played bothan in swg. Any species thats new and different would be nice tho. Id like to see species specific abilities tho. Not pvp , but more pve oriented tho. Like some species have a connection to wildlife , thus making them immune to attacks from wild creatures , or other species dont get attacked by droids ( not counting bosses or champions of course) just some ideas
  5. Not sure if its a bug or not , but I was able to place more than 1 hk-51 and taun-taun in the same stronghold , from different characters of course.

  7. Its my understanding you can take part in the conquests solo , is it worth it? Also , for solo work , what and where should I go to get stuff for my SH? How do I know where conquests are taking place? Thanks
  8. In the Clone Wars series it does mention some clones not following order 66 , fiver being one of them , and a bunch of them then set out to help outher clones escape. Later in the Jedi series ( then one where Jacen goes sith ) its learned that some clones went to mandalore and set up camp there with some jedi survivers. Boba Fett had some old clones in his camp , and its then he laerns how he can stop the age advance. So no, not all clones follower order 66 , and its my thinking that Rex was more in touch with his human traits as apposed to his clone traits. I think after all the time with the Jedi he knew better and just melted into the unknown.

  10. As a guild leader , I would like to see a feature where you can send a mail to every member of the guild at once. Even better would be a feature that would allow a guild leader to give permissions to other trusted members that allow them to send guild mails or even multi-mail. I know we have message of the day , but sometimes that doesn't cut it. If I need to give a heads up to co-leaders or a message to all concerning upcoming events , the message of the day doesn't always cut it.
  11. /nod It was my thoughts exactly. Didn't mind the pve nature set in a pvp area. And i even did the first set of dailies solo. I always do new missions solo so i can guage how hard or easy they are , find easy and faster ways to do them and then pass that down to my guild. I had no problems with any of the pve missions solo and only got jumped 4 times trying to do the pvp areas. I'm sniper class , so no , didn't use cloaks. Just used LOS and took back roads and snuck around and jumped those between me and my objectives. I was able to solo the pvp objectives with 210 people on the Ilum instance i was in and the pvp part only took me 30min from start to finish. The worse part of all was the wait for the pylon and then getting ganked by my own faction just as i'm about to cap , and they didn't even have a need to be there other than to be arses , the work around on the other hand i learned after getting ganked the second time. Always expect to get cloak ganked at the pylon , fake caping , then stun them then cap. Had no problems after that
  12. I agree with you on this. Whats worse is that this whole event will do nothing more than to fragment the already stressed community. Before , it was bad enough that Imp , Pub relations on the forums and in the game were stained (as expected faction vs faction) , but now its only gonna get worse as now Imps vs Imps , Pubs vs Pubs in this new pvp FFA area. Both factions are openly attacking each other (as expected in FFA) but then they hold it against each other and guilds are splintering co-operation in pvp (wz's and other areas) because of this. I've seen this splinter communities before. I also think they should have set a barrior around the pvp/ffa area with a warning that wouldn't let you in if you didn't click ok or something. I've seen so many people (pve'ers) complaining that they didn't know it was a pvp/ffa area (altho its a laugh , i see the point). All in all , the event doesn't take into effect the need for pvp dailies or rewards for them. Something else should have been done. Something like , make the whole current area pve (with the ability of pvp but random like in the north) and the real pvp area after you get to a certain reputation rank. Then you get to make a selection to go to a pve area or a pvp area where the groups are faction vs faction with valor for kills (or comms) but limited to 4 man groups. Just an idea.
  13. SWG had about 800k players at its peek. And considering its time and the type of games that were out there , SWG was well ahead of its time , and peeps weren't use to it. (And my 800k player base is off posters that said SWG was losing 10k a week from subs for a yr. , also by posts from a SWG dev. that said at the highest it had 800k) After a yr. of failDev teams , it was down to about 400k. A yr later down another 200k to about 200k solid and on again off again players , where it stayed near that number for almost 5 yrs. till close. At the current rate SWToR is going , it won't even make it as long as SWG did , that alone says SWToR CAN learn something from SWG. They can learn how NOT to handle Dev. issues and how looks aren't everything. People don't care for the fluff if they got tons of things to keep them busy. My point is this. If SWG was SOOOOOO bad like most you guys say , then why did such newer games fail so much quicker that had better graphics , bigger dev. teams and a bigger budget than SWG did? It was cause SWG had so much more to offer even after you hit "end game" (80). A few examples were given. Space - SWG , never ending. Always something new to do or some place new to explore. SWToR - Always the same 12 or so missions with nothing to loot to do anything new with. Housing - SWG - This one is simple. SWG has it and SWToR doesn't. Peeps like to set up shops , have compititions to see who has the best or most unique set up and so on. Custimazation - SWG had tons of it , from houses to armor (white , pink , purple , black and any color out there). SWToR just doesn't have it. If they had learned anything from other games out there , they would have know peeps don't like to look alike...at all. I like SWToR...alot...but i would have expected so much more out of it considering they were in the same IP as SWG and were supposed to be years ahead of SWG , but the only thing i see years ahead of SWG is the voices in the stories and some of the graphics. I've done EVERYTHING there is to do in SWToR (within reason , some codex's are broke or missing) in less than a year. 2 of each class on both sides. Crafted 1 of everything (with exceptions of some of the pvp items that aren't worth the resourses)Over 100mil credits on one toon (combined and x-fered from all toons on a server) and so on. It took me 10+ yrs with SWG and i never did get to do everything. 8 accounts , 18 toons on a server , some of them not even to full templete and i still didn't get everything done. There is something to say about that.
  14. Thats kinda what i was trying to point out. Light and Dark aren't mentioned , but the users of them speak about the powers of each side in different ways. BTW , always enjoy reading how you put everything into play concerning SW Lore. I've learned alot from reading your posts. SW is such a hard subject to wrap your mind around and if you don't open up your mind to how others view it and read their thoughts on the subject with a open mind your never gonna learn anything. Thanks for all you do and write to help others try to understand.
  15. But they did for hundreds of years. The Sith used the Rule Of Two for hundreds of years and were never seen or heard from , always learning , always growing untill one day , one Sith grows so strong and so wise he devises a way to destroy all the Jedi...Palps. Even in the movie , when Maul is killed and during the funeral of Qui-Gon Jinn , they talk about the Sith being gone for hundreds of years and no one seeing or hearing about a Sith for hundreds of years. If you take this into the EU , then you have to look further. After Palps , there are still hundreds of Sith out there. The Lost Tribe of the Sith for starters and if you take it further , then you've got the Sith on Korban who later come back and take over the Galaxy again. Killing Palps brought balance to the Force , meaning no single user was so strong as to blanket out or surpress the other anymore , but that didn't mean there wasn't still Dark and Light out there.

I believe what it refers to here is this...Palps was so strong in the Force that he was able to blind the whole Jedi Order , chief among them , the most wise and strongest in the force , Yoda , right to his face. This says a few things. Palps was so strong that he embodied ALL of the Dark Side in one place , where as all of the Jedi combined in the whole Galaxy might have embodied all of the Light Side. When Palps put into motion order 66 , it pretty much took out all of the Light EVERYWHERE and left him as the sole embodiyment of Dark Side , who even Yoda couldn't stand up against. This required a needed balance...not a balance as in Luke being the only force user left anywhere (we later find out there are other both Light and Dark left) , but a balancing meaning one side of the force had a user with too much of one or the other of the Force in them , unnaturally. This also emplies that there HAS to be 2 sides of the Force , both having to be there in order to have any Force. If there wasn't 2 sides , then there would be no need for a balance anyways. Palps unnatuarlly took hold of all of the Dark Side , thus in himself creating a unbalance that shouldn't be there.
  17. Its not G-Canon that the force is light only. G-Canon is for things in the movies (ep. 1-6) and that was never in the movies. It spoke of the force from a light perspective and dark perspective (jedi spoke of the light and sith of the dark)
  18. Actually , Luke learns that there is no Dark Side or Light Side , just users of the Force that use it for either evil or good , thus making them Dark or Light. He got exiled from the Republic and takes Ben on a fact finding mission that gets interupted. Long story short , he and Ben both learn how to harness some powers that were considered by others as Dark Side powers. Force shadow , Mind wipe are just 2 of them. Both require the user to alter a persons mind w/o them knowing , and it was considered in doing so you made them do things against their will , thus evil. But he and Ben learned how to use those 2 with good intentions (gray zone if you think about it , the needs of the many outweighing the needs of one or few) Ben was also able to learn Force Choke w/o anger being involved (killing with it would be Dark Side , but using it to disable is just the same as using your saber in a fight and taking off a hand) and Luke used Force Lightning (to a lesser degree than a Dark Lord , but still..) There were a few others also that used what was considered Dark powers in good ways and still were Light Side.
  19. Yoda sensed alot of Jedi dying out at once , and being as smart as he was , just put 2 and 2 together and had a moment of clarity and took out his clones. Even in the movies , it shows at least 1 Jedi facing off vs the clones ( i won't even try to spell his name , but it was a master with the tall head) The jedi were wiped out so soundly and quickly because Palps. was a master of deception and his plan was a master stroke. IMO the way it folded out in the movies is one of the best plot twists i've ever seen. It shows how indepth he went into his planing over the years and was just amazing in detail (the books give better detail into what all he did to get it all to work together.)
  20. When you search for a book on the kindle , you have to put in "Star Wars" and then the title. It will also give you a drop down list by series. I know i've been able to get the whole series of Fate Of the Jedi , Lost Tribe of the Sith , Legacy of the Jedi and most , if not all of the series with the fight with the Youvang Vong (sp) , can't remember the name of the series. I've also been able to get all of the books from Clone Wars series , the Republic Commandos series , The Darth Maul series , and all the books from Old Republic series. Seems most the books before '90 are harder to get on the kindle tho. Hope that helps.
  21. Well , the Zombies were added after the book "Death Troopers" came out and was a way to explain where all the Zombies went after that. Made sense if you read the book. HK-47 was easy to fit in there. Does everyone think there was only one HK-47? HK-47 was the make and model , so another droid of that model would be HK-47c or a HK-52 and then a HK-52a and so on. The Mando's on Endor are a bit harder to read into lore , but not too hard. They are nomadic , so at this time they are still looking for a Leader (Fett later) and have no homeworld. They land on Endor and find a abandonded base. In the books , the Death Watch did take refuge on Endor for a time , untill the Empire moved in and started setting up bases.
  22. I'd go for this if they gave you a choice of species you could play for the $200 , not just 1. Example. For a lifetime $200 sub fee you get to pick 1 extra playable species and you get a list. Bothans ,Cathar , Kit Fitsu's race (forgot what race that is , but would be my pick) , Ithorian , Mon Cali , Quaren , The creatures from Hoth that are all over the place that look like big giant bears (someone help me out here. lol) and a few others i can't think of off the top of my head. Not just the species either , but add in special features like they did already with Sith (punish) and such. Nothing game breaking , but cosmetic.
  23. That stuff was awesome man. Had all my kids watch it (6 kids) and everyone loved it. We are all big SW fans and myself and 3 kids are SWToR fans. Was a blast. Keep it up man. I'll be sub'ing to this thread to see more.
  24. There is at least 6 other locations where the eggs spawn. Try those as well.
