Fair point...The biggest issue I see, is that there is simply a lot of people playing MMOs nowadays that don't put any effort in to leaning mechanics, learning their rotation, or gearing. There is not a single sm op in the game that is not puggable when you have people capable of those three things.

It's a total bummer, the game did not used to be this way. Too much effort was focused on making things "clearable" and I feel like we lost something along the way because of it.

Playing on an NVME and I never have more than a few seconds of load time. Sounds like you may want to look into an upgrade?

If you want to do MM flashpoints, you should 100% be running Star Parse on the dummy to learn your rotation. Most basically boil down to a static rotation, and hitting the shiny buttons, Seriously, putting in an hour so so to commit the basics to memory and then you will memorize it/get better the more you do it. If you go in there with 326 gear and use feelycrafting to make up your rotation, you will never do enough damage to pull your own weight in a group. Read through the Vulkk guide for your class and a little bit of practice on the dummy. You should at least have the basics down after that. Also, it may sound simple, but join a guild. There are so many out there that are willing to take you under their wing and teach you all of this. Good luck !

Not that I know of. Give vet a shot! Its not that much harder and if you both have level 50 companions is really not too bad tbh.

Not bad with a coordinated group. You can hit most of the checks without 336 gear, though it does help. You can easily get 336 gear without touching an MM fp though.

Have cleared it ten or so times on vet and MM, its fine, its just a puzzle. I can't believe this is having to be explained on the forums.

No...it's really not difficult with a competent group in discord. There are TONS of active raiding guilds recruiting. Join one of those. Leave mindless frag farming to sm df/dp and ev/kp.

Don't queue with randoms. I wish it wasn't the case, but its the state of things. I run them all the time with my guildies, but I just won't do randoms anymore due to the average player refusing to learn their role or rotation. Until that changes, I'll stick to queuing with a four stack of friends.

Honestly, nearly all of the complaints I see about "Queues not popping" can be remedied by joining a guild. I run MM fps all the time...would I ever queue for them solo? No. Far too many randoms have never bothered to learn their rotation, so I don't bother queuing with randoms.

Ping is pretty decent for eastern US (around 200). The issue my friends and I have been having is that it seems like queues are no longer popping. Was in fleet last night and this morning on the imp side and from what it looks like, there is a LOT of people queuing, but no one is getting queue pops anymore. This also appears to be the case in "prime time". I was also not able to copy one of my 80s over. I'm hearing this is bugged as well. Can we get some attention on this ? We're running out of time and it would be a shame to miss out on this due to broken queues. Thank you !

Would love a road map! Also would love to see EA invest in the game. Its doing well and turning a nice profit for them, if they would invest in player retention a bit further, you would see the numbers skyrocket. There are so many people out there currently playing WoW and FFXIV that would love to return to SWTOR if the endgame content was there (its one of the top comments I see in other discords/reddit). Seeing a roadmap with plans for regular updates would pay off huge

- How active is the server in the early hours PvP and PvE wise? (around 3pm eastern til 7-8 pm eastern) SS is great for PvE, some of the best raiding guilds in the game are here. You will never have trouble finding a group for whatever you're into on the PvE side during prime time (even during off hours, I pugged Terror From Beyond at 3am server time yesterday). If you're into PvP, SF would be a better choice in my experience, but for PvE there is a ton of active guilds running multiple Ops teams - How is the PvP generally on the server, multiple instances of PvP going on most of the time, arenas especially? Its okay, there's usually people looking and recruiting for PvP groups in chat, but SF is better in that regard. That being said, there is a healthy PvP community on SS, albeit not as big as SF - How is the health of the republic side? (on Darth Maglus, rep side is totally dead, sadly you cant find a grp for anything besides story mode stuff) Pretty solid ! Usually a couple different fleet instances in prime time. Again, always a decent amount of chatter in fleet. I'm in a guild that has both pub and imp sides, and both guilds are very active ! - Random VM operation groups going on frequently, looking for ppl to form a grp? Imp side Rep side, both? Yes - MM FPS are popping frequently even as a dps? (I will bring a tank tho next to dps) Instant MM pops if you're a tank, very short wait for healers, DPS you will usually have a bit of a wait. There are always groups recruiting in fleet though ! - Anything else comes to your mind that could be helpful? In my personal opinion, SS would be a better pick. While SF is bigger, SS is healthy and totally has a much less toxic community. If Operation progression is a goal of yours, SS has a far more serious raiding community (have raided on both servers) . If you're main goal is PvP, you may want to look at SF, however SS still has enough PvP to keep you occupied. This may all be my personal opinion, but I feel that SS is a much better home. You can always find a group for whatever you're looking for, and there are a TON of active and friendly guilds. If you're looking to primarily pug, you may want to go SF as its just a bigger population and there is a bit bigger pug scene. If you're looking for a great community and a guild that will get you excited about the game, SS is the perfect choice. I will even extend an invite to join the guild I'm in if you like! We have both imp and pub side guilds with a large active player base.
