  1. As much as I would love it, the whole game needs a revamp.

This is the extent of the graphical changes. Posted by the SWTOR TEAM THEMSELVES.
  3. The games graphics have been updated yes, but nowhere near where they need to be. Certainly NOT enough to make it feel like a different game at all. If you feel like it makes it a different game by adding a higher density shadow map, then you are sadly mistaken, in denial or are looking through nostalgia goggles. I've been a game developer since 2015, went to school for it and got my certs. I do believe Broadsword can and should do better regarding it, but has been completely radio silent about it, rather I get a warning point from the moderators for a forum rule relating to another issue I mentioned above.
  4. The game isn't going forward and the graphics, physics, animations, combat, characters, player cosmetics and all other structural content is OUTDATED. You level too fast, you get money too fast, everything is too inflated and expensive to the point of distaste. Once you are out of the greeny state, the games lifeness dies. I do not and cannot justify spending $77 yearly on this game when the game is falling so far behind and when the developers do not listen to the players, especially when it involves bad guilds who are ruining the game for everyone like [redacted, you cant report or even call them out without getting into trouble. Thanks CommunityDroid...] and their sub-guilds who keep exploiting and inflating the game further. I've held this account since 2013 and from then to now, I have seen a lot with this game, I love the starter planets like Ord Mantel, they are comfortable, involved, exciting and colorful. But the more you go through the planets, the more dull, soulless and uninspired they become. On top of that the combat makes it even worse. I DO NOT ever want to see this game fail, I want to see it grow, update, evolve like RuneScape does and has. SWTOR could also benefit from Xbox and PlayStation releases as well to bring in more players like Neverwinter did with it's console launches, but forever being stuck in the past will be the downfall of every game that doesn't update to meet the current graphical and gameplay standards. This has been a tough decision to make, I didn't want to do it originally, but in the end. I had to make a decision and in the decision was to cancel my yearly subscription in hopes to relax and see it grow again. I love you SWTOR and I hope one day I can come back to a completely different game experience whether it be to the original, updated SWTOR or a fresh, new SWTOR 2 release.
  5. We've been asking for this for years, I doubt Broadsword would even listen to this. I want to play as a Wookie who starts off on Kashyyyk.
  6. Everyone is tired of everything in this MMO as it has become offensively outdated as far as mechanics, scripting, graphically and physics go.
  7. I've been asking for Kashyyyk, for YEARS now. For some reason, SWTOR seems rather helpless and scared to add new planets with their own individual systems because it requires too much work, which is the impression I gather. Kashyyyk is a fan favorite from all eras it exists, its almost criminal to not have it by now. SWTOR needs a huge QoL update.
  8. All subscriptions outside of the United States are calculated by the conversion rate and associated taxes from your or their respective country. If you have an issue with the prices, seek out your local government to change the conversion and tax rates.
  9. I think this particular issue is more deeper than what we see on the surface, which again, relates to a character and animation overhaul that is desperately needed.
  10. Or even being someone you physically talk to that requires an abusive amount of credits to do (sink and delete) which could in turn help lower inflation, in theory.
  11. Flashpoints overall just need redone because they are so bland and boring. Procedural Generation could be in the future for FP's but it would require a lot of extra work. Overall the whole game needs a slap with the modernizing stick.
  12. Please do not cherry pick my response to fit your agenda. My response gave further reasoning behind my answer of "No". Character rigging would have to be redone and that is a lot of work because it would have to be adjusted for EVERY SINGLE armor piece as well. I do not think you understand the amount of coding, optimizations that go into just adding a simple Hairstyle. I have had this debate with Guild Wars 2 and I had to be educated on the ins and outs of their engine because I am used to Unreal, Blender and Unity. Edit: Character updating would need to be done first in order to add more variety. There is also no reason to have exorbitantly long hair as a male when you are combat spec'd. Same with Females. I have 0 issue with women in the game having a variety of short hair or males having long hair, just that it doesn't meet the lore of the character you are playing and that is a fact.
  13. Simple reply, No. The current way the character rigging is done, it would be impossible. Additionally to that, we do not need anime-style hairs in this game, as much of a weeb I am, I am going to gate keep that and lastly we do not need a bunch of gender-mixing agendas being shoved into this game. The story is written as it is written for a reason and it is going to stay that way and until they can redo the entire game to modernize it, you get what you get.
