Again, games are the lowest type of canon by far so much they barely qualify for an argument and secondly yes I played Jedi Knight and JK 2 through. Twice. I also played KotoR and Kotor 2 several times and guess what? I can be a super light sided Revan/Exile and still spam Force Storm/Affliction/Deathfield/Choke all day long. So much for the "game" argument.
If we go strictly by the movies ALL forms of force attacks like Disturbance, TK Wave, Turbulence ALL must vanish. Likewise no resurrection should exist, no Force Stun, no Disable Driod (KotoR) etc etc.
Similar to sage attack moves, since when do Sith heal each other? At the first sign of weakness they'd rather backstab each other than keeping their peers alive. Buffing? Shielding? At least as visibly? Come on if you are such a devout follower of the movies you have to basically stand for Inquisitor and Sage being either completely revamped or abolished.
That being said, in the movies, there was never anything which concretly stated that Throw was a soley dark side power.
And again I ask where is the difference in throwing a lightsaber potentially dismembering/decapitating an opponent and throwing a rock? Why is the one considered "dark" and the other "light"?
Because outside of the game argument there really is no argument and as I have already said games are by far the lowest type of canon.
Mind you I am not against changing the animation, I am simply against false arguments.
I'd also see improvments to our saber strikes first because it is totally absurd that they are nothing more than stat giving glow sticks and they only deal a fraction of what my albeit nicely animated kick (aka Tumult) does.
