  2. Premades ARE NOT the problem. Now, before anyone jumps in going "zomg pre-made stomper fagzzz" I have NEVER been in a premade at ALL. The problem is that since 2.0 when PVP got dumbed down there has been in influx of lazy half-*** players who play FOTM specs and play every WZ like a deathmatch, hunting medals and only being vaguely aware of objectives. I have given up trying to educate them because its impossible, you scream you yell you say politely and you get reported everytime. Pre-mades are the only viable way around the influx of "uber-bads," i have no problem with people grouping up to actually get decent games with more than 2-3 good players who try to carry the UB's. It is also unfortunate that people abuse this system to just "pwn n00bz" but it happens, the problem isnt that pre-mades are running around doing this, its the mentality of the d-bags behind the keyboards that are the problem. Good luck trying to sort it out in an intelligent way when the problem is down to a lack of said intelligence.
  3. I actually dont run full Assault, i was really tired when i typed that, i'm currently running the "Wet Noodle" adaptation just for the survivability to be able to put some numbers out. I've been going for the old 1.7 M/M mods/enhancements, but all ive heard from other PvP'ers is to stack power over mainstat and everything basically. Didnt agree with that on principle so i ended up here

  5. So basically, we have a PvP patch coming that they have nothing planned for, just to placate us. Great. If they do eventually plan something, though i wouldnt expect it before 3.0, i hope they do tell us up front and completely openly about what it is so we can make sure they dont **** up again. Not that they are even guaranteed to listen to us.
  6. On Red Eclipse its now at the stage where every PUG WZ i join has at least 3-4 leavers 9 times out of 10. Its an even mix of people who are bad and blame others, people who get sick of shouting themselves hoarse about the basic **** of calling incs, initial dispersion, usually happens in WZ where theres only 2-3 that speak and understand English and the rest just go deathmatching, and, a group i must confess to siding with - the ones that leave because 15+ losses in a row is really REALLY *********** irritating, especially when your trying to step up to Conq. What pisses me off the most though, is the ones that leave people dont bat an eyelid towards, but hell you try verbally *****slapping a team for not trying for the objectives and just going deathmatching and its like your Adolf *********** Hitler. Since 2.0 when the average IQ of PVP players plummeted my win/loss ratio stands about 1:25 overall, considering the amount of time since 2.0 hit you would think there would have been some improvement.
  7. Lets also not forget BW's track record with Patch's. IF and i stress IF we ever get a PVP patch, its not gonna work properly for about a month after its actually been released and thats even if they fix the bugs that its gonna bring
  8. With the changes since 2.0, how would i min/max my Assault spec VG for pvp now? I have full conq, all blue 28 reflex augments. Do stat caps matter? My DPS seems a little lackluster in PvP atm, normal attacks donrt go above 2k on any attack that doesnt crit and with crit being nerfed you see my problem Thanks.

Stoopids on any given map that get overwhelmed, face on, by the other group at the start for whatever objective, then proceed to split their DPS under the guise of "attack from multiple directions" When that happens i get a painful herp in my derp and it makes me herpa derp for hours after. Derping Herps ..

  14. Went for the high Aim high Power mods and power enhancements over 25% crit rating, namely; ADV Agile Enhancement 27 ADV Adept Enhancement 27 Bonus Tech 1042 Bonus ranged 599
  15. I've noticed something about VG/PT DPS post nerf, it varies wildly in a manner that is NOT congruous with things like skill point distribution, gear, player skill, opponent skill. For instance, reading these posts, you guys are running 3k IP,7k HIB and 3k SG as mentioned above. I have full Partisan, bar Conq implants+earpiece and recently acquired chest with blue reflex aug 28 or whatever it is. My same skills are like this. 2k IP, HiB never more than 6k once-in-a-hundred-wz's, usually wont break 5k and SG doesnt break 2k. These numbers have remained the same no matter the difference in gear i try nor the way i move my SP about, this includes not skilling burnout and above in favour of IP damage skill and elemental damage attacks. Yet, i've seen VG's in 1st tier pvp do more damage than me, ive seen VG's in 2nd tier do more damage than me and ive seen VG's in 55 pvp on Red Eclipse, generally do between 5-700k in non Voidstars, i struggle to break 400k, and on a good voidstar i have not broken 500k since nerf. I've found myself using the old routine of IP - HIB - IP - IP - HIB, and i do more damage due to the law of averages. Since nerf the class for me has not felt right, feels as though some stats are frozen and nothing i do changes them, feels like my VG is stuck in old gear and the stats dont update with whatever i equip. It's downright weird. I have asked around a few places incase i arent the only one experiencing this, but havent found anyone so far.

  19. "Unstoppable force meets Immovable object" I know precisely the kind of games you are talking about op. Some 4 man premades actually specialize in this kind of crap. It involves, basically, a moving tank group involving 1-2 tanks and 3 healers. Mostly seen on ACW and NC, using ACW as an example. Speeder pops, everyone flies in, 2 go grass, rest hit mid APU. at this point S'ins usually run forward and force push everyone back a bit, their healers get into position. Immovable object now occurs. Their disadvantage is that they turtle themselves up, so Reps naturally move onto snow and remove the 1 or 2 people there and cap node. At this point you have pretty much the whole mid crew incoming en masse, so you switch to mid and cap as they re-cap snow. Where ever you hit, you are the unstoppable force sweeping aside their 1-2 guards. Wherever they retake and porc up, they become the immovable object. The set-up for this ensures the sucking in of the hostile team for the first engagement, allowing mid to be capped and putting imps in the lead so Rep is tail chasing and unable to break the situation because of how the imps drag it down. Its painful enough for veterans but for new players to pvp its downright demoralising.

  21. Probs because 2.0 was so buggy and amateurishly done that its been logged under minor and forgotten about as more and more problems build up
  22. From what ive seen (pure Rep player atm) you can average it out to 2-3 intelligent players per WZ and the rest of the deathmatch only mentality. Its about 1 in 20 for me where the intelligent players get a WZ to themselves and generally do well, even against premades. Once we even took down a double premade and all we got were general chat spam about lame hackzorzzzzzzzz. Its getting to the point where i ctrl+c the pep talk to a team reminding them about objectives healers marked's and fighting at the objectives and calls.
