  1. Same here. I have no idea where they are getting the 60k number. As for people complaining about the price of the augments themself, keep in mind only two slicing missions have a chance to return Thermal Regulators, and those missions are about twice as expensive as their level 50 / grade 6 equivalents. Math!
  2. Maybe I could get on that list.
  3. No, we must choose sides. You are not allowed to be happy customization is better now and also hope they make fundamental changes to the dye system. That is heresy and you should be thrown out in the streets. Pick a side and fight the good fight or your soul will be lost forever.
  4. You can hide them in a spoiler tag.
  5. Feel free to add them to the original post. I don't mind.
  6. You missed: -Removed the 13th Scar Character Customization Option for Female Rattataki Sith Inquisitors, as it was identical to Scar 12. -Players who are killed or rooted while using dive–based abilities (such as Scamper or Covered Escape) will no longer become indefinitely stuck in place. -Adjusted level 400+ mission rewards to provide Standard Quality crafting materials at a rate more comparable with lower level missions. -Failed Crew Skill missions will no longer return a blank Mission Reward Window in some circumstances. -Successful Reverse Engineering attempts will now grant the resulting Schematic and will no longer display the error "Insufficient Skill Level" if the Schematic is above the player's current Crafting skill level. -Viral Residue is now a required material for some Biochem Schematics. -Removed Perfect Corbonic Crystals as a mission reward, and the vendor value has been increased for the crystals currently in distribution. -Removed Hollinium as a mission reward, and the vendor value has been increased for the Hollinium currently in distribution. -Slicing missions will now correctly populate the level 25–32 mission level drop down when reaching skill level 125. -Players will now be able to free group members who are affected by General Ortol's Magnetic Shackles in Hard Mode. -Players are now able to obtain all parts for the GSI HMF–03 Exploiter, GSI EMP–02 Explorer and GSI PMP–06 Pleasure Speeder vehicles. -Players will now be properly granted PvP Achievements for Solo Kills, Killing Blows, Total Kills, Damage, and Healing. -Players who are in a group will no longer be prevented from advancing missions which require the use of their ship's holoterminal. -Augments are no longer taken into account when calculating bolster. -Players will no longer be able to use movement speed increasing abilities to get over the shield wall in the Cargo (final) room. -Subscribers will now see proper Unlocked indicators at Character Creation for Species that they have access to. -Dark Side Corruption will now display properly in the Preview Window. -Hovering over the Guilds button will now display the correct text. -Companions with an active Customization Kit will now display properly in the Preview Window. edit: They really need to figure out the BT / Esseles / Foundry bug.

    lol bolster

Like broken bolster, it just won't go away.
  9. Nah, it's explainable: that's what enable movable secondary windows does. It allows you to most (all?) those windows you don't control in the interface editor.
  10. Turn on moveable secondary windows in the interface editor. I move it to side and I can see it when alt-tabbed.
  11. Thanks for the update Eric. That is exactly the kind of stuff that is good to hear.
  12. Yes, the reputation gear is Bind on Legacy.
  13. Ilum valor farming, Ilum pylons etc. The quickest way to not get banned for exploiting is to get everybody else to do it.
  14. And we've been told to expect content updates every 6 to 8 weeks.
  15. The major difference here is that the major content patches have been described as not being majorly Cartel patches. We've been told development is separate, and we've been told what to expect from a content patch. This is what I want clarification on. I want to know if we are to no longer expect a content patch to be defined as it previously was.

Tomorrow will be a month of broken bolster and rampant exploiting. Broken bolster = not urgent enough to fix Exploiting = OK Will we reach five weeks? Maybe six?
  17. Hyperbole and the OP aside (I'm not a forum scholar, nor do I particularly care about a poster's trends), the general question is a valid one. Content development has been described to us as largely separate from Cartel Market updates. Overlap is certainly expected given the state of the game, and honestly, I really do not have an issue with any of the features being introduced involving the Cartel Market (though I wish some had credit alternatives, ie, kiosk). I'd like to know what will be introduced in this content patch that doesn't involve the Cartel Market at all. Right now, that seems to be about half the dyes. If that is it, it would seem to signal a significant departure from the structure of content patches previously and would be something the community team would be wise to clarify. Bug fixes / tweaks are not the meat of patches, nor have they been the focus of major patches.
  18. The restrictions are particularly annoying because they do not restrict player gearing in any meaningful way, which is odd because the logical reason for such restrictions is to restrict player gearing (keeping people from acquiring multiples of cheaper / easier to acquire items to fully gear out). This only significantly affects companion gearing. I know some people don't care about that, but I do to a degree and others do, as well. And it's not just HK. As an Agent, my choices for DPS companions are HK, Temple and Vector. If I want to use a ranged DPS companion, Temple and HK. HK's issues are well documented in this thread. However, I can't even fully gear Temple without jumping through hoops either because of the dumb knife-bound barrels. It essentially means that I can't fully gear an entire companion type because of a too broadly applied restriction.
  19. Many of us enjoy the game. We just want some clarification. This content patch so far is shaping up to be a primarily Cartel Market patch. I personally don't have an issue with some of these things being associated with the market, nor do I think any of them are so incredibly objectionable on their own. What I want to know is 1) what else is in this patch that has nothing to do with the market and 2) is development no longer separated between content patches and cartel updates. *gasp* heaven forbid we ask questions. *gasp*
  20. I just hope there is something more fitting of their content description in this update. I have a feeling if there was though, they would lead with that and wouldn't have named the patch "Customization." So now I hope we at least have a hood toggle coming. Eric, I think it's time for a come to Jesus talk with the forum.
  21. The original stuff mentioned as part of content (obviously leeway should be expected but his point is pretty obvious): Source: http://www.ausgamers.com/features/read/3241038 And then Musco telling us that development is separate (emphasis mine): Source: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=5986834#edit5986834
  22. I was wondering if there would be anything else, as well. It's shaping up to be a mostly Cartel-oriented content patch, when the two were explained as separate paths months ago. I guess there will be bug fixes (or hope) but is that really going to be it? I"m more than happy about dyes and kiosk but some more traditional content would be nice (warzone, quests, flashpoint, op, companion, event etc). Also I will laugh to myself if the patch they named Customization doesn't bring a hood toggle.
  23. Obviously was since you couldn't hold it.
  24. Then why did you cap that early?
