  2. Wondering about this too. That means that I can't do any weeklies (I won't queue for group content and ruin other peoples experience by having to play with me, especially PvP).
  3. It could easily be resolved on dev side by just making these settings persistent. It shouldn't be hard to store these values in a database. It would be so nice to have all the interactive decos (especially those that look bland when switched off) already "switched on" when we log in.
  4. I haven't done that event in a while but I believe your best chance is still the Catalyst. Iirc it's a guaranteed drop from him or at least a high chance. I got all 3 of mine from Catalyst.
  5. MMORPGs are mostly a thing of the past. Their big time is long over. Some are able to stay afloat, but many failed and are gone now.

  7. They could at least add some boss mechanics to those fights. Stuff you MUST interrupt, enrage mechanics, "soup" you need to stay out of.... Also give the enemy some more HP, make it more like a FP boss fight.
  8. Over three chapters I am presented with a compelling story building up to a final fight with my nemesis. Then I kill him in a very short time with a couple of basic skills. It is anti-climactic and does a disservice to the story imho.
  9. I am a bit confused. Other's have said "again", so I guess there were stories like these in the past? So this is not a cost-cutting move to replace cutscenes and ingame narratives with plain text? I'm not sure that I like that I now need to check things outside the game to keep up-to-date with the story.
  10. Seems the [planet] controlled by [guild] popup is broken again. At least for me it sometimes doesn't disappear.

  12. I don't like the idea for reasons already mentioned in this thread. Mostly it is a waste of the very limited development resources. Btw. there is a suggestion forum.
  13. Not sure if I'm happy about this. Some sounds are already quite annoying like some holo decos and Sith decos.
  14. I'm pleasantly surprised. I thought it would only be one room. I like the overall size, not too big, not too small. Lots of flooring, wall and ceiling hooks (an issue in some of the other strongholds), some centerpiece hooks, overall good hook placement. Now I'm really looking forward to those strongholds. Thank you very much for providing the tour!
  15. Yes, they can be a total pain. What works best for me is trying to click on the center of these medium hooks.
  16. It's a centerpiece decoration you can buy on the GTN (and maybe also in cartel market, haven't checked).
  17. While working on my Jedi SH, I started to experiment with the meditation garden. Here's my combination: https://ibb.co/ChNwB0Z Hypergate irregularity, floor trap fire, planter: large mushroom and small dantooine tree. Here's another one with planetary holoprojector, planetary display: Nar Shaddaa, nathema flower and spa water planter (butterflies!): https://ibb.co/gZq6kH4 Putting an Iokath powercell underneath the garden creates an interesting lightning effect. Various potless plants like nathema flower and plant, desert vine etc. work well with the garden. I wonder what others came up with or if you just prefer to leave it in it's original "Zen garden" state.
  18. The odessen command center works well with the fields as some sort of "overlook". Would be nice if we could place it in the middle.

  20. Yes, as usual the update will bring a minor story addition of maybe - an hour? - and a flashpoint. That seems to be roughly the amount of new content we can expect by now.
  21. I think the notion that this is just adding another grind for old content is a legitimate one. It is what it is - this game has very limited resources and there is no indication that this will change. It's an old game and it's just not worth it for EA to heavily invest into it anymore. Seasons are not adding much new - only additional avenues to get certain items. Even the makeb gazebo gets recycled and as happy as I am (as probably many players who love decorating) to possibly be able to obtain it, it shows how strapped for resources they are. Another example: look at the latest decoration drops from SoV. A fountain that is just an Alderaan Nobility statue and some golden chests on top of an often used fountain base or a weapon stand that's just a mandalorian weapon rack attached to their standard weapon rack base with some ammunition tacked on at the sides. The effort just doesn't seem to be there. I think this is less of a sign of "not caring" but just not having the time/resources to do better. The game is not quite in "sunset" or "life support" mode but something close to it. I have made my peace with that fact and enjoy whatever they release, even if it's just tiny story additions and a couple of new items.
  22. I think the standard zoom settings are set to some medium distance. I can't go into the game right now since I am at work, but check your interface or graphics settings ingame.
  23. That looks nice. What is the big house-like structure in the back on the right? Medical facility?
