  1. Hi everyone, I wanted to share a project that I have been working on for a while. It started out as several other things, originally it was going to be a single guild site but it has evolved into a community site that can host many guilds. I guess you could call it Facebook lite for SWTOR (very lite). There is a feature to create a guild on the site, the guilds on the site have their own forums, "wall", and calendar. I have plans to add more features in the future, not quite sure what yet though, I was kinda hoping I could get some users to suggest what they would like. I hope this site can be used to create a stronger SWTOR communities in both guilds and across servers, not sure if it would ever get that big but its nice to dream. But please if you have time, let me know what you think. And it is still in beta btw. http://guildsoftor.com/
  2. I signed up for 3 months, and then I got 4 months is time cards. I will gladly be here a while. I'm happy to support Bioware, it's clear this game is getting better and better with every patch. I know it takes some time to get a MMO to its full potential and Bioware has shown that they are committed to making this game the best it can be, and I will continue to support them as long as they hold to this.
  3. Thanks Bioware, I really appreciate it when games recognize their founding players and longterm players. And to all those people whining, THE TEAM THAT IMPLEMENTED THIS CHANGE IS DIFFERENT FROM THE TEAM THAT FIXES BUGS.
  4. Just freaking leave now, each and every person out there "threatening" to leave because your not happy. I'm so sick and tired of your posts on the forums, because of you all the good creative posts with constructive criticism gets pushed down just to satisfy your need for attention. First of all you are just a whining child that wants everything NOW, well guess what a brand new MMO is not for you. Ranked PVP is coming, and if your to ignorent to go read that for your self then your shouldn't be on the forums in the first place. And as far as customer support goes, I have had nothing but pleasant and helpful conversations. Try not being a jerk to them and you might get better treatment. Go back to WoW and please NEVER come back, you won't be missed.
  5. GREAT JOB BIOWARE!!! I haven't played a game like I have been playing SWTOR, since vanilla WoW. This is the game I have been wanting ever since Blizzard destroyed WoW in the WotLK expac. Keep doing what your doing, cause things defiantly look like they are on the right track. I can't wait to see what you release in the next patch.
  6. Has anyone clicked the link in the OP's signature? I find it funny that it takes you to what looks to be a guild site that seems to be prepping and excited to leave WoW and play SWTOR hardcore.
  7. Could you show me proof to this claim. I know MANY game reviewers and sites have stated this, but I can not recall one instance where Bioware came out and said they were targeting WoW.
  8. Hey everyone, Not sure exactly where to post this, it is technically fan art, for me code is my paint brush and the web browser my canvas. But anyways I'll try to keep this short and sweet, I don't want to sound like I'm trying to sell something. I just want to inform the community and if possible maybe get a little feedback. I have been working on a side project, a website were guilds can setup a meeting place for users outside the game. I wanted to create a site where all players could have a guild website easily, and free. Also include the tools that a guild might want to use to communicate and setup events. So each guild gets its own activity stream or wall (what ever you want to call it), forums, and calendar. And each user has their own profile as well so keeping in touch with other players is fairly easy. The idea is that you create one account and can join as many guilds as you want, so say you have several alts you only need one account if you want to create/join a guild for each alt. Right now its still in beta and I'm working on it in my free time, and just so everyone knows I am doing this alone as a side project. I'm not looking to make money with the site, but at one point in the future I would love if I could break even with the hosting and domain costs. But ya, if anyone wants to use it please do. And if anyone has suggestions on how I can improve it please let me know. And right now the main nav and logo are pretty ugly and need to be designed but I havn't found the time, especially with getting early access to TOR. http://guildsoftor.com/

  11. Agreed 100% with OP, the game is a challenge and a delight. I have played WoW since it's launch and several other MMOs, and SWTOR is so far the best on the market imo. Sure it has a few bugs but all MMOs do at launch, lets hope TOR keeps a healthy user base and its popularity continues to climb after launch.
  12. Hey look at it this way, by the time you get into the game the major bugs and server issues will be worked out. That's the main focus of early access, not so much for the players but to make sure the servers can handle the large amount of players and to iron out any last minute bugs.
