  1. Being forced to go along the same path of planets is pretty annoying. Thus, earning this post a +1 from me. But to be fair, story and planet depth is useless because this is not a single playe rpg. It's an mmo and the end game is what matters.
  2. All off you offended by this pay need to lighten up. it reminds me of south park. "they took our jerbs" ... Intolerant bastard. I'm all for a server dedicated to a language, any language. The difference is market size, which determines the necessity of the server. Some of you sound horrified that some people don't speak english, well, they probably don't live in the u.
  3. There is some merit to the claims about the problems in this game. What you people need to do is stop being so insecure. It's quite sad to see that you are so insecure about the game that you are unwilling to accept another viewpoint. Maybe it's because you lack the ability to debate? Or even feel empathy. Just hear the guy out and argue his specific points if you can. If you can't shore up a response then **** because you're more useless than the guy who decides to critique the game.
  4. People don't need to spend money... so just because a person has more money doesn't mean they'll spend the money. There are no real expenses in swtor so what are they spending money on? Repairs, new abilities, vehicles, vanity items. You can loot everything else, they just end up with more money.
  5. The problem I have is that the obstacles are just a nuissance. Getting grappled into a fire and be instadead? Fun. Having to wait to get near the ball or even just in range to heal somebody because you're stuck behind a fire is also annoying. Plus the effects screw with my weak video card until I replace it. (My original card burned out). Annnnnnd the commentary is obnoxious.
  6. I would say you need to spend less time on the forums and more time leveling. Don't hate on the people that are 50 already. You say the game should be great 1-50 and not just at 50. Well, that comes from the storyline but I'm afraid that the game focuses too much 1-49 and not for 50s. You are going to spend most of your time at level 50. This is an mmo not a rpg.
  7. Deranged? Irrational? Wow you must have a severely limited ability to critically think if those are the only reasons you can come up with. How about adding mysteriousness to the history of the most powerful jedi? By limiting the amount of information on yoda and his race they create a shroud to show how special he is. What's the difference between having an uber powerful jedi master and an uber powerful sith lord?
  8. I enjoy the game. That doesn't mean I shouldn't be allowed to point out the flaws. If the community remains silent then the game does not advance as a game. Stop being so sensitive little fan boy, we point out problems so that the game becomes successful and more enjoyable. It's called constructive criticism, I'll bet that you cannot take any constructive criticism in real life without freaking out.
  9. My video card burned out so I'm dealing with a temporary card for a little while. This causes me to load very slowly. Which annoys me throughout the game but it's so slow that it has forced me to be kicked from the warzone before I even leave the starting area. Extend that time for sad computers like mine and I might accept this rule. Btw on a side note I am able bto function when I'm in just not load well.
  10. I'm glad you posted wow credentials because they matter. If you compare the fluidity of combat between the two games by playing wow the swtor right after you would scream. There raid frames are never accurate, it's damn hard to target allies to heal... screw tab targetting but those are overlooked because there are a seemingly endless amount of wow haters. Their bias ruins any objectivity that could help improve the game. People that despise wow are probably the same people that hate anything popluar, everybody's doing it so I'll show them how cool I am by bashing it? Look I played daoc and I loved the open rvr but wow has the smoothest animations and even a quarter of a second feels like an eternity in pvp. This game can and needs to work on that. The delay affects pvp and pve, it changes the feeling of the entire game. I don't know how this can be achieved because that's not what I'm in college for but I sincerely hope it is a main priority for the bioware staff.
  11. Thank you. I love you for finally putting the time and effort into a well thought out post. This is a serious problem that needs to be addressed and not just avoided because the "game was just released" ... no. This is a detrimental problem. This problem is the reason why every time I left wow I returned, because the gameplay in other games was not up to par. When every spell or ability is a headache and the timing is off the gameplay is ruined. I'm tired of dying before I can use a medpac or be unable to create a spell rotation because of the way the game delays everything.... Thanks again. Hopefully they listen and the fanboys understand that pointing out a flaw is meant to create a better game, not just be an attack on their beloved video game.
